Delugional is an Atlantis theme typeface, it's character set is an imaginary alphabet inspired by Greek style scripts mixed with Classic Latin. This font is a display font family of two weights, Regular and Bold. It can be used for various creative/mythological and fantasy theme projects from book covers to games or movie titles. Edgethorn is a beautiful, italic-only transitional serif typeface that was born after I became obsessed with a few small paragraphs of italic text on a type specimen broadside from 1785. Working on this type revival allowed me to delve much more deeply than I ever have before into type history and typeface classification, and I’ve included some type history for you with your download so that you can play around with the smattering of historical characters I included (like the medial s). Although it is based on centuries-old typefaces, Edgethorn is elegant, timeless, and perfect for 21st century projects. Edgethorn includes approximately 525 glyphs — including 64 standard and discretionary ligatures and a handful of contextual alternates and character variants — and supports over 200 languages. The OpenType features can be very easily accessed by using OpenType-savvy programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.

Quinoa is display typeface by Catharsis Fonts that unites the seemingly opposed concepts of clean geometric architecture and organic humanist warmth. While it is designed for display and editorial purposes, its accessible forms make for comfortable reading even at small text sizes. The new sans-serif Franzi typeface family – as neutral as can be, but at the same time individual and striking. Its unmistakable character lies in the detail, with no effect pushing itself to the fore. As a wide-running typeface with a relatively large x-height, the typeface family is perfectly suited to small text sizes but, with its elegant details, it leaves nothing to be desired in display applications either. Originally designed with constructed, often rectangular elements, Franzi has gradually been rounded during the development process and is now less hard in order to guarantee optimal legibility. Once, Blackletter was a calligraphy style. Full of ligatures, with letters bumping into each other to create an unapologetic picket-fence pattern. Some even claimed that the regularity improved legibility! But then Blackletter was cast into metal, and only a handful of established ligatures survived, while most interletter connections were disentangled. Everyone since followed suit, and hundreds of years later, digital Blackletter fonts were modelled mostly on the metal fonts that prevailed rather than the original handwriting. Up until now! AJ Quadrata is an authentic revival of the textura quadrata hand, and its major inspiration is a 15th-century Latin manuscript of the Bible from Zwolle, the Netherlands. The typeface is delivered in two flavors. The default cut is a modern take on textura quadrata that can be useful for today and tomorrow. The standard ligatures feature employs nearly all letters. The tittle of i retains its original, hasty squiggle form (except for the Turkish localization). Discretionary ligatures include medieval ligatures da, de, do, pa, pe, po (and their mixed-case counterparts!). Stylistic sets allow to use historic letter variants such as long s and rotunda r, closed-counter a, and alternate capitals. AJ Quadrata Medieval is perfect for setting Latin.
