  12. 1585 Flowery by GLC, $20.00
This set of initial letters was inspired from French renaissance decorated letters. Unfortunately, we don't know where they were in use, or who was the punchcutter, our models were coming from a late XIXth century copy. Note: The letters I and J, U and V are not different. It is not a mistake, but it is the exact reflection of what was customary during the period.

  14. Konstantin by Wiescher Design, $39.50
My son Konstantin wants to become a cook. So I thought it would be a nice idea if I designed a script for his fabulous future menus as a gift for him. I think he will become a great cook. The three Konstantin cuts can be mixed. The A cut has the most straightforward letterforms, the B cut has more swashes in the capitals and swinging descenders and last but not least, the C cut gives you some fancy lowercase letters. All three cuts have different numerals. If you mix the fonts be careful not to overdo things, mostly - even with scripts - less is more. Your family designer Gert
  15. Ravenstonedale by Hanoded, $15.00
Ravenstonedale is a village in Cumbria, England. There’s not much to see in this quaint village, but the landscape surrounding it is beautiful. This font was sort of based on a number of handwritten letters by English author D.H. Lawrence. It is not a true reflection of the man’s handwriting, though, as I had to design a lot of missing glyphs myself; it was merely an inspiration. Ravenstonedale comes in a slightly slanted ‘regular’ version and a more slanted ‘Italic’ version. In order to stay true to the handwritten nature of this script, I have added a lot of ligatures, plus all the diacritics you could hope for.
  16. Cristal Text by Johannes Krenner, $5.00
»Cristal Text« has nice to read lower case letters. It contains 636 letters per font style and some Open Type features: Different stylistic alternates and different sets of numerals. It is not monospaced: Therefor it stays not true to an underlying grid like it’s bigger brother »Cristal True«. But this offers a better legibility. The basis of this font is a Union-Jack or sixteen-segment display (SISD). I have found myself in the need of a precise and well-made font, that simulates the look of such a LCD display. Also it should offer enough letters and language support for the whole European region as well as different font styles.

  18. AndrijScript Cyrillic by AndrijType, $36.00
The glyphs of AndrijScript typeface are based on usual calligrapher's handwriting, my own native Cyrillic. This strange mix of freedom and professionalism looks vivid but a bit elegant. In three very different weights it has some ligatures and contextual alternatives for more natural look. All you need is love, you know ;)
  19. Tenacious Brush by PintassilgoPrints, $26.00
Tenacious Brush is an expressive font, provocative, free spirited and wild hearted. It's an all-caps face, with 4 alternates for each letter and 2 for each numeral — some letters also have stylistic choices. For that spontaneous hand-painted feel, you know. Turn on the contextual alternates feature to automatically cycle all these variety of glyphs. Or... pick your choices manually, which is quite a playful task now in some applications like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop — just select a glyph and you see its alternates. The font brings yet some useful ornaments to give an extra buzz here and there. And let's not forget to mention the extended language coverage. And there are even fractions available! And ordinals! Definitely not just a rad face. This is a cool brush font with a contemporary tone, offering endless design possibilities: logos, poster art, branding, bold imagery, packaging, t-shirts, apparel and much more... With loads of attitude included. Step into it!

  23. Matricia by Type-Ø-Tones, $40.00
Matricia by Pera Ribalta, José Manuel Urós / OpenType, 3 styles Nostalgically, the three weights of Matricia try not to recreate the modern pixel fonts but the noisy needle printers. The Uno and UnoXt are made of squares and the Dos version of dots.
  24. Fiasco by ChibaChiba, $24.95
Extremely influenced by the new rave trend, Fiasco is a reflex of it's excesses. Way too many elements, bright neon colors, and that not-knowing-when-to-stop sort of behavior. Acid House aesthetic remixed by the nu school DJs. Neon Flamboyant.
