Schotis Text is a workhorse typeface designed for perfect reading on running texts. Its design is based in Scotch Roman 19th-century style but designed from scratch, with a more contemporary and not nostalgic look. It has seven weights plus matching italics, with 1100 glyphs per font, with a very extended character set for Latin based languages as well as Vietnamese, and shows all its potential with OpenType-savvy applications. Every font includes small caps, ligatures, old-style, lining, proportional and tabular figures, superscript, subscript, numerators, denominators, and fractions. The Scotch Romans were one of the most used letters during the 19th and early 20th century, but they don’t have their own place in the main typographical classifications. They appeared at the beginning of the 19th century with Pica No. 2 in the catalog of William Miller (1813) and assumed the British route towards high contrast and vertical axis modern Romans. In fact, they were called just Modern. In opposition to the continental route of Fournier, Didot, and Bodoni, the English way opted for a wider, more legible letter also resistant to bad printing conditions. The name Schotis comes from the misspelling of Scottish that gave the name to a popular dance in Madrid in the 19th-century. It first was called Schotis and today is knows as Chotis.

Arabetics Harfi is a Latin Serif typeface with a comprehensive support for the Arabetic scripts, including Quranic texts. Careful spacing and kerning was used to enhance resulting text legibility both scripts. Arabetics Harfi fully supports MS 1252 Western and 1256 Arabic code pages, in addition to all transliteration characters required by the ALA-LC Romanization tables. Users can either select an accented character directly or form it by keying the desired combining diacritic mark following an unaccented character. For Arabic, it fully supports Unicode 6.1, and the latest Arabic Supplement and Extended-A Unicode blocks. The Arabic design of this font family follows the Mutamathil Taqlidi type style with connected glyphs, but it emphasizes a horizontal look and feel rather than verticalone, utilizing slightly varying x-heights. The Mutamathil Taqlidi type style uses one glyph per every basic Arabic Unicode character or letter, as defined by the Unicode Standards, and one additional final form glyph, for each freely-connecting letter of the Arabic cursive text. Arabetics Harfi includes the required Lam-Alif ligatures in addition to all vowel diacritic ligatures. Soft-vowel diacritic marks (harakat) are selectively positioned with most of them appearing on similar high and low levels—top left corner—, to clearly distinguish them from the letters. Tatweel is a zero-width glyph. Arabetics Harfi includes both Arabic and Arabic-Indic numerals, in addition to generous number of punctuation and mathematical symbols. It includes two weights, regular and bold, each of which has normal, right slanted Italic, and left-slanted styles.

Julia Child once said: the secret to great french cooking is butter, butter, butter. Thus, we present to you Manteiga - butter in Portuguese! - a typeface for heart-melting, word-spreading goodness. The idea we had was to play with brush lettering - a style we love - and go as far as we can with the shapes of the letters while finding balance between positive and negative space. We wanted biiiig personality. And small inconsistencies - the ones that add texture and life to lettering. We left extensive OpenType features and technical stuff aside for a moment, adding later only what we thought was necessary, like different shapes for the Q, a and g - for example. All caps setting was something we wanted from the beginning. In text case, the x-height is rather short for a brush script, and this lends a quirky voice. Spacing is ultra tiiiiight so don’t go too small, but make it as big as you want! Ah! And there are some fun dingbats thrown in for good measure.

Festivo Font Family is a handmade layered font which includes several textures, shadows. Different font types can be created using various combinations of Festivo Fonts and colors. Parabrite arrives as a vision of the future. The future is brite - Parabrite - this is unavoidable now. The composition of Parabrite is found to be based on a set of technical behaviors defined from a set of four sub-glyphs and their interactions, similar to the make up of our D.N.A. (A,C,G,T). Likewise, Parabrite's block matrix is composed of four units (S,L,I,C). These units are only allowed to group together according to predefined set of mathematical rules, and affect each other symbiotically. The smallcase letters stand five feathers high, while the capitals add an extra two feathers width. Parabrite is extended, containing the full West European diacritics & a full set of ligatures, making it suitable for multilingual environments & publications. Use Parabrite when you dream of a future world. Since Parabrite is adapted to be quickly read by a wide assortment of electronic scanners, legibility to humans suffers a little, although robots report it is much easier on the eyes. My name is Teruyoshi Matsui. I live in Japan. I am a Brush Artist. I artistically write the letters of the alphabet with a Japanese brush. I have created the font “ BrushType Longhand”. It was originally named "BrushType Alternative". But I changed my mind before it was completed. At first I aimed at an alternative font. But while I was trying to make it alternative, I realized that it was not. Of course there are many alternative letters that you have never seen before among them, so you have to be careful using the font. If you are a progressive and defiant designer trying to discriminate against others' designs, you should own my font "BrushType Longhand". Be ambitious! This is the word I will give you. I am ambitious ,too. No one in the world creates brush fonts like me. I am the only one as a Brush Artist though no one knows. I will be a world artist some day. Escalope is a hand-drawn font with a quirky and unique personality: low midline, unicase, all-caps, matching icons, textures, and the playful Stylistic Sets. 'Escalope Soft' has smooth outlines and sharp terminals. 'Escalope Crust One' is relatively clean but rugged, with an ink stamp outcome. 'Escalope Crust Two' is harsh in texture, with large coarse grains in its jagged outlines. 'Escalope Crust Three' is rather heavy-built, stout, defined, and less grainy. This type family has three alternating alphabets that slightly differ from one another. Thanks to the Contextual Alternates, the alphabets are automatically replaced, in turn, repeatedly to avoid the same letterforms and textures appearing next to each other. Stylistic Sets are also available. SS01 has underlined characters, SS02 has double-underlined characters, and SS03 has a mixture of graphic ornaments. These Sets can be used separately or combined. If the Contextual Alternates are running, the Stylistic Sets will alternate automatically. Escalope includes a set of 150 icons consistent with the four styles of the typeface. They share weight, texture, and font characteristics for a perfect match.

Ragazza Script isn’t just another display typeface. It honors the greatest handwriting skills but in a different way. Although It doesn't represent any traditional calligraphy style, it is still part of that expressive world. With more than 1000 glyphs, and taking advantage of the Opentype features, Ragazza is full of personality. When in use, it gives a feel very close to ornamental Copperplate mixed with some kind of modern 'high-contrast' typeface. The early forms that would eventually lead to what Ragazza is today, began as a college project –around 2006– in the context of the 'Hyperfuente' exercise developed during Typography 2, chair E. Longinotti, at the University of Buenos Aires. But that seed would never stop growing. Since then a lot of work had been made to take that initial project to a professional quality level. Ragazza Script is perfect for headlines and short phrases. It is the brand new modern script, designed by Guille Vizzari and published by Latinotype.

Supertuba is a :) geometric sans vernacular humanist :) display type family with 6 weights. There's literally dozens of ligatures in this font so It works very well for flyers, package, stickers and posters, also you can use it as a text font if you're looking for something slightly bold. Supertuba has multilingual support and useful open type features. Letter boards that used to be seen in churches, dive bars and butcher shops are the main inspiration for this typeface. The name Supertuba came from an old supermarket that no longer exists in the city of Indaiatuba , I just believe this name is super fun (at least in Portuguese) and wanted to keep it alive. I was in Indaiatuba when I get started designing this typeface so this is fair enough. Supertuba the third piece of a particular trilogy of fonts that Stubby and Stubby Rough take part, from the lazy vernacular drawing to an unusual geometry. Enjoy!

Neon Bugler is a font based on the third logo created by Harry Warren in early 1975 for his sixth grade class newsletter, The Broadwater Bugler, at Broadwater Academy in Exmore, Virginia, on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. This font design has these principles as its parameters: The letters generally follow what would be natural stroke directions; no sharp corners, all gentle turns; no lines back up over each other, cross each other, or run into each other. All of this civility between the lines produces an unintentional but welcome neon quality about it. This script font was inspired by a lot of autographs, notes and drafts, written by President Abraham Lincoln, mainly the Gettysburg address, first draft and copies, but also the emancipation proclamation. It is an attempt to offer a typical manual script from this American period, not to propose the exact writing from A. Lincoln himself. This font is a little fat and monotone, maybe Abraham Lincoln used a smooth or rounded pen, but some letters I have consulted were written obviously with a sharp one, so, in the future, I will certainly produce a slim version of this font. It is used as variously as web-site titles, posters and fliers design or greeting cards, all various sorts of presentations, menus, certificates, letters. This font supports enlargement as well as small size, though the original size was about 18 to 24 pts. When printed, it remain perfectly legible from 10 to 12 pts.

Milton Glaser on designing Babyfat: “This is the first alphabet I ever designed. For some inexplicable reason I called it Babyfat. Because I’m not a type designer, most of my alphabets are actually novelties or graphic ideas expressed typographically. Here the idea was to take a gothic letter and view it simultaneously from two sides. It started out as a rather esoteric letterform; it ended up being used in supermarkets for ‘Sale’ signs.” This forced perspective 3-D font has appeared on many LP covers and posters from the mid 1960s onward. This revival includes the original lowercase for the first time in digital form. Besides the three original styles (Outline, Shaded, and Black) made for photo typesetting, the new P22 Glaser Babyfat introduces six additional variations to allow the user to easily colorize the type as Glaser envisioned. The Keyline, Fill, Glyph, Left, Right, and Down font styles give the user nearly infinite options to create dynamic chromatic effects. P22 Glaser Babyfat was based on original drawings and phototype proofs from the Milton Glaser Studios archives. Typographic punctuation and sorts were imagined by James Grieshaber to work with Glaser’s design, as well as diacritics to accommodate most European languages. Over the years there have been many typefaces that borrowed heavily from the Glaser designs, but these are the only official fonts approved by Milton Glaser Studio and the Estate of Milton Glaser.

A big advantage of the font family is a consistent width of all sixteen styles, so it is possible to switch between them without changing the typesetting. Tabac Mono extends the means of expression of the other fonts in the font superfamily, with which it shares several OpenType functions, including indexes, fractions, several types of numbers and alternative shapes of the most distinctive letters of the Latin alphabet (a, g, Q), which you can use to significantly influence the character of the final composition.

Winchell is the only identified typeface designed in Buffalo, NY prior to the formation of P22 type foundry. It was created by Edward Winchell of the Matthews-Northrup Printing Works and released by the Inland Type Foundry in 1903. The Winchell typeface was also made in Wood by the Hamilton Manufacturing company in the mid 20th Century. The Winchell typeface is a Clarendon styled slab serif that clearly has the look of a pre-modernist design. E.E. Winchell’s Arts & Crafts tendencies show through in this design

Tritone is a serif old style typeface display. The design is inspired by the Art Noveau style, which taken from the facade of a bathing establishment and reinterpreted it. The beauty of the font lies in it is classic and unique shapes and forms that characterise it, and for this comprises only two weights, for the dedication to the forms. The font expresses beauty and tradition, but in a lyrical context it can express the power of opera, because of it is powerful and elegant design.

By the time that the 13th edition of the Speedball Text Book appeared in 1938, silent movies were a thing of the past; nonetheless, intrepid author Ross F. George included this typeface, originally intended for title cards, in the volume. Elegant and inviting, the occasionally quirky letterforms feature subtle diamond-shaped accents that add just the right touch of sparkle. The PC Postscript, Truetype and Opentype versions contain the complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252) plus Central European (Unicode 1250) languages as well.

ITC Scarborough was designed by Akira Kobayashi in 1998 to be reminiscent of the typefaces in advertisements of the 1930s. The special written form of the font has no connection between the letters and follows the principles of the brush scripts often used in the headlines and film trailers of this time. Kobayashi chose dynamic forms for his font, small yet robust with contrast between the strokes. ITC Scarborough is available in regular and bold weights and is best used for headlines and short texts.

Godina was born from the interest in learning and deepening in the basic forms and how they are combined to compose a typographic system. The name, a tribute to the town of La Almunia de Doña Godina, the town for which the author of the typography connects. La Almunia is a crossroads in the typography designer's travels, a link between his family and friends. It combines the scent of a straight and modular typeface with sinuous and curved shapes, which make it a fun and playful typeface.

Our Binder Family is a revival and expansion of Binder-Style, a typeface designed by Joseph Binder and released by D. Stempel AG in 1959. It originally was a single weight. In later film type adaptations, a bold style, and an outline with drop shadow style were made available. However, this typeface never really had a true sense of family or larger language compatible character set. The original Binder-style typeface found revived popularity with its super condensed style when it appeared on the movie poster for "Silence of the Lambs". It was always a disappointment to me how this typestyle had never gained more traction in use. And so, many years later, we decided to revive the original typestyle, and expand it with a range of weights and obliques to pair with those weights.
