Iturritxu (a small spring or fountain in the Basque language) is the basic style, one letterform per character, using highly readable glyphs suited to text applications. It includes Latin characters for Western European, Central European and Baltic Languages, plus Romanian and Turkish. Iturritxu 2020 is the feature-rich style for OpenType friendly applications. Designed to work especially well with the concave consonants and nesting vowels (KO, RO, TXO, ZO etc.) common in Basque (Euskara), the font also has many ligatures and contextual features for other languages such as English and Welsh. Much of the inspiration for the contextual forms comes from the compound consonants and vowel signs of North Indian scripts. Voluta Script is the work of Austrian designer Viktor Solt, created for use in a guide to the Austrian Gallery at Castle Belvedere. A volute (Latin voluta") is a spiral or scroll-shaped ornament used in the Baroque architecture of Castle Belvedere, similar to the swashes in this typeface. The castle was the historic residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy, one of the great military commanders of the 18th century and a prominent figure in Austrian history. When asked to create a typeface based on the calligraphy of the period to illustrate Eugene's epic, Solt turned for inspiration to Kurrent writing, a cursive blackletter style. Solt created a hybrid style that embodies the rhythm and basic forms of its ancestors, with large capitals, dark vertical strokes, and flourished beginning and ending characters. The typeface was designed to be used in sizes of 24 points and greater. Voluta Script allows designers to evoke the Baroque era or to lend a hint of majestic grace to contemporary typesetting."

Indipia is a caps-only misprinted font, ideal for display, titles, and headlines. It has alternative characters for all double-letter combinations aa-zz and AA-ZZ to avoid having two identical degraded letters together (You can see this by typing/copying words like mirror BASSOONS into the text box above, with Ligatures on); different characters for upper/lower case letters; and of course all the expected accented characters for European languages. There’s also Stylistic Alternates for some common letters and punctuation which will give a third version of the letter and/or add some random ink-misprints if selected. There are 2 styles -- Regular has small areas misprinted within the letter itself like little bits that haven't been inked, the Solid version doesn't, and the Solid one is on the grey gallery poster image. The flower children of Canada Type are at it again. This time we went above and beyond the call of duty and right into the land of reconstruction in order to make this font. When we saw a few letters from an early 1970s film type called Jefferson Aeroplane, we had the sudden urge to bring their beauty to digital life. But since further research revealed no more letters or information, we just had to "wing" the rest of this Aeroplane. Now this Genie is out of the lava lamp, and it's nothing short of groovy. A few symbols and alternates come within the font, so make sure to check out the very full character set. We love this font so much that we couldn't help but play with it for a week.
