In his book Brushstroke and Free-Style Alphabets, Dan X. Solo called this typeface "Tamarind Script" but, whatever its name, this sparkly little gem will add rollicking retro charm to any project it graces. A late nineteenth-century type specimen catalog from Farmer, Little & Co. yielded this droll little typeface, originally called "Arbor". The distinctive decorations of the face suggested a fool's cap, and thus the font got its current name. And don't call me Surely.

Here’s a novelty font emulating the plastic pennant streamers that were popular in the 1950s and 1960s used to decorate a store parking lot or used car lot for a sales event. The typeface inside the individual pennants is Manufacturer JNL, which can be used for body copy associated with titles made by this font. Parking Lot Sale JNL is available in regular (black letters on white pennants) and black (with white letters). A blank pennant for word spacing or end caps is available on the backslash key.

Point of Sale JNL is a specialty font for producing retro-style price cards, tags, stickers, labels and similar items. Within this design are a large set of numerals and two smaller sets of numerals. Both of the smaller sets are centered against the larger ones with one set also having underscores. In addition, there are a number of price card designs provided for those who want a truly nostalgic feel to their price marks. Almanach is a multifunctional, sans-serif font, suitable for a wide range of applications. The universality is it’s strength, but it is not impersonal. It’s character can be felt in the delicately softened endings of letters and in the dancing numbers. The italics is designed in compliance with the rules adequate to the italian sherif typefaces. This is particularly evident in the Cyrillic script, where a lot of characters have a different form than their upright counterparts. Almanach looks familiar. You will surely hit it off.

Checkout is a fat, slightly cursive, poster font. It was modeled after 'clearance sale' signs and a 1950 Mexican movie poster for Los Olvidados (directed by Luis Buñuel). Checkout can be used for headlines, posters and, of course, for your clearance sale! Comes with a hard-to-beat amount of diacritics.

Either Futuristic or Space ship logo - it will sure fit to a mysterious poster.

Bodoni Classic Swirls breaks all the rules. The idea of Bodoni typefaces is no embellishments and here I go again and do another decorated set of Bodonis. During the Covid pandemic, I noticed that a lot of public figures (politicians, actors, influencers and even kings and princesses) had to apologise for not following the social distance rules, the lockdown rules or the 'stay at home' rules. They threw parties, went on holidays abroad and - in general - made a nuisance of themselves. When I finished this font, I decided to call it Public Figure! Public Figure is quite a neat, handmade font. It doesn't stick to the rules (but does like to keep up appearances), likes to party (but manages to stay safe) and brightens up your work (without being too gaudy). Public Figure comes with two alternate sets for the lower case glyphs (that cycle as you type) and a massive amount of diacritics, including Vietnamese.

You wouldn't print a book with this font; but you could sure leave a message.

Un Jour Merveilleux means "a Wonderful Day" in French. This font is a Modern Calligraphy script with stylistic alternates for all the lowercase letters and numbers for a natural flow and rhythm. Smaller and larger alternates are set to switch between each other within the Contextual Alternates OpenType rule, so make sure to enable this feature while setting text with this font.
