CA Cape Rock, first released in 2007 and now reissued and expanded, is an impressive display typeface. Designed with a fat Clarendon and wood type in mind, the typeface’s bold and distinctive forms add spice and personality to any design that requires a strong display aesthetic. CA Cape Rock is particularly enjoyable for use in headlines and ideal for highlighted text. With already two dozen existing ligatures and many OpenType swashes, the new edition also received letters for use in the Central European and South Eastern European area. Neogram is a modern neo-grotesque type family inspired by the early roots of Swiss design. The concept was to create a neutral typeface that would demonstrate great clarity while understated in its intended use and application. Stroke contrast is slightly increased, with a more geometric letter shape giving a warmer and more robust personality. A digital foundry situated in England's rural South-West and established in 2005, Sparklefonts is Geoff Andersen, a man on a quest, from philosophy to aesthetics, from wild inspiration to wild gesticulation, from post-modernism right through to post-rationalisation. Boldly seeking unique and viable letterform architectures, he is equally determined to maintain legibility without compromising style. His journey has taken him through stencils and uncials, calligraphy and typography, through graphic design and guitar design. The story has been moving, the view spectacular, the punctuation superb. Geoff's sources are apparently limitless, his passion overwhelming, his fonts a labor of love, his therapist a Trojan!

Enotria is a contemporary neo-grotesk typefaces inspired by the Swiss school but with a Calabrian’s soul (south Italy region). Nauman Neue is a modern humanist sans serif typeface made for the screen. Broad open letter forms are combined with precise geometry to create a functional and legible font that’s ideal for web and on-screen applications. In 2021 Nauman was expanded to sixty styles, including two helpful widths condensed and semi-condensed. Included in the font are 900 characters per style, ten weights and three widths with matching italics. Opentype features consist of seven numerals variations, including inferiors, superiors, fractions, tabular, lining, and old style. It also has alternate lowercase a, e, I, M, small caps, arrows and language support covering Western, South, Central Europe and Vietnamese.

Pomponianus comes from a 4th century inscription found in North Africa. It is an attractive example of early uncial lettering. Uncial inscriptions are quite uncommon, because although the style was well suited for writing on vellum, the curved letters made it more difficult to carve in stone.

Superfan has mouth-watering soft curves that sets your mind on candy, or something soft and round-edged. Superfan like to be seen in large scales, for the slight roughness to appear, but has it's moments in small scales as well. Superfan has a different upper- and lowercase set of letters, and an extra set of alternate letters to choose from if that is needed!

Peanut is a face full of bounce and playfulness but is based on the traditions of the long revered Roman minuscule. The letters are unique in that they imply “youth” without relying on cliché child-like letterforms. Peanut and Peanut Sans come in a ‘Salted’ style which features many alternate letterforms. Darby came about while playing with a loaded round-tipped brush. The letters remind me a bit of signage I remember seeing at county fairs in my youth. It's a casual comfortable font that lends itself well to outlining and drop shadows for emphasis. Not intended for long copy, it would work well in headlines or in signage where one is wishing to attract attention.

During trips to the Miami Beach Public Library as a youth, Jeff Levine first caught sight of the signs made with a product called the Webway Sign Cabinet, manufactured by the Holes- Webway company of St. Cloud, MN. Having purchased an old set, Jeff has carefully re-drawn the alphabet and unique contrasting numbers from the original assortment, adding in an extended character set to his font.

This pale face -- a Byronic offering from the disaffected youth section of our library -- will provide that slightly sad, sunken eyed feeling most closely associated with Doc Martins, heavy crosses and clothes as black as the blaquest heart... so if you're looking for tragic tramp stamp typography, we think our tattoo parlor maid to wear font will provide just the right amount of Goth Chic.

Dynamic by name, and dynamic by nature - this sleek font is perfect for logos and hightech quotes. The original lowercase f had a big overhang - I redesigned it so it fits better with accented letters, but also kept the original shape as a contextual alternate: the font automatically uses the "large" f before any low letters... A squarish uppercase font perfect for logos and short eye-catching headings. Tricorn Mono is a monospaced font with two styles – regular filled for uppercase and an outline version for the lowercase. Monotype Gallia's design was initially developed by Wadsworth A. Parker for the American Type Founders (ATF) in 1927. Monotype released its own version in 1928. Its style is embodied with the spirit of the American Art Deco age and the Roaring 20s. It makes a superb headline selection, and has also been used effectively for packaging as well. Bell Centennial was created by Matthew Carter in 1976 for the American telephone company Bell. Its bold, clear characters make it an extremely legible and distinctive font.

A 1930s-era WPA (Works Progress Administration) poster advertising a Federal Art Project exhibit entitled "Index of American Design" was the basis for Art and Design JNL.

Austin Plain is derived from the union between Melts Script and Deftone Stylus, the result is a friendly typeface that mixes old American styles with modern design concepts.

Under the commission of the American Century Magazine"", Linn Boyd Benton designed a new text typeface in 1894 with a design typical of the Neorenaissance movement in typography. Morris Fuller Benton produced various interpretations of this font for American Typefounders and the companies Linotype, Intertype and Monotype quickly took up the typeface. New Century Schoolbook font is a very legible font, fairly narrow and with relatively little stroke contrast. This font is from Morris F. Benton and appeared in 1915.
