In the year 1791, the 20th of June, the king of France Louis XVI attempted to flight from Paris to the Luxembourg. He was intercepted on the road and taked to Paris again on the 21st. A few month later, in September, the first French democratic constitution was promulgated, transferring the sovereignty from the king to the French people. This font was created inspired from the steady hand of a lawyer writing a farm renting contract a few days after the advent of the new French regime. It is a "Pro" font containing Western (including Celtic) and Northern European, Icelandic, Baltic, Eastern, Central European and Turquish diacritics. The numerous alternates and ligatures allow to made the font looking as closely as possible to a real hand. Using an OTF software, the features allow to vary the characters without anything to do but to select contextual alternates and standard ligatures and/or stylistic alternates options.

Runde Wien Pro, the rounded sans serif by Ekke Wolf. Typeface lovers looking for a modern, well-developed sans serif font with a touch of retro and warm, individual lettering will get excited about a new addition to the font market. The more than complete Runde Wien Pro front comes in three styles and four different weights. P22 Music Pro is a unique font system that allows the user to compose music with text editing and page layout programs capable of OpenType features and contextual substitutions. Hello, friends! I recently bought myself an old game console, the SEGA Mega Drive 2. For a long time I couldn't understand why, when I was a kid, it seemed incredible to play it. Nowadays there are a lot of games with stunning graphics and realism, but still there is something warm and light in old games. Maybe it's just a memory of a carefree childhood. After playing it, I decided to create this font so that everyone could do something in the style of old games that an army of designers and programmers hadn't worked on yet. So I made five rather odd characters for a logo for a friend… Then I thought I'd fill a couple of spare hours expanding it to a single alphabet… And some considerable time later I ended up with a whole font with full punctuation, a bunch of alternates, pretty broad international support and some OpenType features to keep things varied… There are elements of Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Lego, circuit boards and Ceefax, Memphis lamps and lab clamps, hieroglyphs, googly eyes and who knows what else… Intricate, insane, highly irregular, but somehow it hangs together… Throw down a few letters nice and big when the fancy takes you…

With all ego aside, Romp was designed and influenced by my daughter, Angel. For some time now, she has wanted me to design a font based on her handwriting. But each time I sit down to do it, I run into more that she needs to do and redo. On a recent attempt, I ran into the same situation again. Instead of moving on to something else, I decided to whip out a sumi brush and start making letters...for me, type design is something a little ‘serious’ and never a time to just have fun. This typeface proved that notion wrong—it really was fun. As a result, each letter encouraged another and the design grew...and grew! The happy result spawned 3 separate sets of letters & numerals (small caps and some ligatures too!). Using the beauty of OpenType, these 3 sets have been fused into one, randomly generating font set. If you are using any type of OpenType enabled application, then the Romp Pro typeface is the way to go. They include everything found in the 3 separate variants for each style as well as entirely expanding offering of additional small cap and ligature sets.

Energia Pro is yet another new, charming and whimsical profonts script typeface designed by Ralph M. Unger. Its design is based on Arno Drescher’s Energos from 1932, but Unger completely redesigned the typeface, extended and completed the character set and digitally remastered the font. On October 15, 2006 we became proud parents of three babies. To commemorate (and help pay for diapers) I decided to release this baby-themed dingbat set. All proceeds for the next few years goes to pay for lots and lots of diapers.

This family was created inspired from the first font carved and cast in France, for the Sorbonne University’s printing workshop (Paris). The characters were drawn by Jean Heynlin, rector of the university - inspired from Pannartz’s - and in all probability was carved by Adolf Rusch. It has only one style, in one size (about 14 Didots points). We have added the U, J, W and Y, some accented characters and others not in use in the original, but the standard and historical ligatures and the numerous Latins abbreviations are these of the original font. The font is proposed in two choices : Basic Latin, MacTT & TTF, free for a private use, and “Pro”, TTF/OTF, available for standard basic Latin plus Central Europe, Baltic, Turkish, Croatian, Romanian, Celtic.

I was working about 10 years exclusively for a type company. Based on my experiences, I built this superfamily. Schuss™ Sans PCG is a humanistic sans-serif with a little contrast. Small Caps, greek and cyrillic are included. Also tab, prop, lining, old style and small cap figures. It's a typeface with clear and open characters. All complicated shapes are cleaned and simplified with a bit elegance. Schuss™ Slab Pro is a slab serif, based on the Schuss™ Sans. Schuss™ News Pro is the modeled style between Schuss™ Slab Pro and Schuss™ Serif Pro. Schuss™ Serif Pro is the antiqua shape. Additionally all serifs are cleaned up. There is just one-side-serif in the "n" for example. Tab figures (except small caps), mathematical signs and currency symbols have a width system accross all styles and weights.

Pericles Pro is an attractive typeface for headlines and short passages of text which recall inscriptional lettering and playful, art deco design. There are two weights of Pericles Pro, Light and Regular, containing OpenType-enabled typographic features with alternative characters for creating eye-popping effects in headlines, book titles, banners, and greeting cards. Each Pericles Pro font includes 433 glyphs. This includes 12 stylistic alternates and 17 ligatures to mix and match with a full set of capitals, small capitals, superscript, subscript and petite small capital letters. Kia ora is a M?ori-language greeting which is used as an informal greeting, equivalent to "hi" or "hello", or an expression of thanks. The koru (M?ori for loop or coil) is a spiral shape based on the appearance of a new unfurling frond. It is an integral symbol in M?ori art, carving and tattooing, where it symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace. Its shape conveys the idea of perpetual movement, while the inner coil suggests returning to the point of origin.

It is a new style of Konga Pro, now more rough and ornaments.

A variation on the 'futuristic' type genre - available in pre- and post-apocalyptic versions!

Lindsey Pro is a new handwriting style font with advanced OpenType features including alternative characters and ligatures. Lindsey Pro was created by Steve Matteson based on a teenager’s handwriting. It is a casual typeface design with irregular alignments and occasional connections. Lindsey is a fun font to use in a wide range of documents, from Valentine’s Day cards to invitations, memos, greeting cards, signs and correspondence. Lindsey Pro was developed to take advantage of the rich typographic OpenType features of applications Adobe Creative Suite, QuarkXPress 7, and Microsoft Expression.

Edda Pro is another art nouveau revival by German type designer Ralph M. Unger. Edda Pro is based on Edda, designed in 1900 by Heinrich Heinz Heune for Schelter & Giesecke, Leipzig, Germany. Unger redesigned the beautiful forms, completed and expanded this outline caps-only typeface for the profonts library. Also, he added a nice collection of very useful frames and ornaments in EPS format supplied with the OTF version of Edda Pro.Edda Pro can be used for anything in advertising, signmaking, posters, restaurants, hairdressing, paint, wallpaper and so on.
