Sheet music for a song featured in "East to West", a film starring Mexican bombshell Dolores Del Rio, had the movie's name lettered in a bold sans style with early Art Deco influences. East to West JNL preserves not only the name, but all of the characteristics of this wonderful bit of typographic nostalgia.

Party Trick is loosely based on the capital letters of a classic typewriter, but I have added a bit sugar and spice to the letters - making them more funky and loose. Another great thing is the contextual alternates, which gives you 6 different versions of each letter - and they automatically changes as you type!

A typeface named Times Gothic, which made its first appearance in the 1905 ATF specimen book, inspired this headline sans. Use it to add a bit of quirky visual interest to headlines and subheads. Both versions include the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets, with localization for Lithuanian, Moldovan and Romanian.

The highest and windiest mountain of Provençe is the Mont Ventoux. That is where I saw a pretty windy signpost in a very windy typeface that inspired me to design Ventoux. Wood Sans Narrow JNL is based on examples of an extra condensed Hamilton Wood Type. The design was cleaned up a bit to provide more uniform stroke widths, but still retains the nostalgic feel of a tall, narrow type face found on broadsides and posters of the late 1800s. It is available in both regular and oblique versions.

The inspiration for Brattleboro Stencil JNL was found within a reproduction of a sales catalog for stencil punch dies manufactured by S.M. Spencer & Co. (originally of Brattleboro, VT), circa 1868. Basically a sans serif letter, the font's unusual feature is its "split tail" design where the letters take on a bit of a "Western" look in appearance.

MGN Ismawan. This font was created in 2022 and was inspired by the Helvetica font. With a standard shape and being a bit wide, this font is suitable for writing, but for headlines, we think it's still OK. There are several forms of this font that have a distinctive character, which makes this font suitable for logo writing.

Ramen Sans is a friendly grotesque type family with the warmth of serif types and a little bit of the edginess of geometric sans! Designed with body text in mind, it offers 5 weights (and their italics), small caps, tabular figures, fractions, numerators, denominators, and supports the Adobe Latin 3 character set (most western and central European languages).

The hand lettered title found on the 1938 sheet music for "I Haven't Changed a Thing" is a condensed Art Deco thick-and-thin sans serif with rounded corners. Reminiscent of office door and similar signage, this classic bit of lettering from the past is now available as Personnel JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Inside the pages of the April, 1937 issue of the fan magazine “Hollywood Now” is an unusual bit of hand lettering used for the titles in a number of featured articles. A narrow thick-and-thin Art Deco alphabet with many stylized characters, this type design is now available as Now Showing JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Scrawny is a long-legged beanpole of a font. Quirky, a little retro — and most certainly smile-inducing — Scrawny sports tall and thin characters with high horizontal crossbars to give a feeling of "cute shyness" and "warm fuzziness." Scrawny works great for banners, announcement text, labels, and anything else that requires something with a bit of whimsy.

Shenandoah is a beautifully crafted script by Måns Grebäck, and is made for lovely, flowing and professional typography. Shenandoah has bold, crisp lines, giving it a rustic and retro effect whilst keeping it sleek and modern. Briko is a legible hand-crafted type family that comes in two weights. Its little bit bumpy outline and soft edges give it friendly feelings. Onthel is a bold-script with a touch of rhythmic brush that is very charming and has character. It was inspired by Onthel Bicycles, which is a Dutch design bicycle that is characterized by an upright sitting position and has a very strong and high-quality reputation. This font is a good choice for your logotype and lettering craft.

Closer is a highly customizable Swiss Grotesque with overclosed aperture. Being a bit wider than the average grotesque and featuring some humanistic shapes, Closer feels less bland though still relatively neutral. A famous 1971 photo shows boxing champ Muhammad Ali making faces through a window at Joe Frazier at the challenger’s training facility. A small sign sits in the window that says “Joe Frazier Training Headquarters” and is lettered in a simple sans serif condensed typeface. This is now available as Facility Signage JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Bellis is a hand painted brush font. Painted on absorbent paper with a chinese brush to make the ink spreading texture. The original texture was a little bit messy but we translated into a more clean textured font. Bellis is a very easy to read brush font and it can be used for posters, magazines or graphic artworks.

One Ton is a really chunky stencil face that sticks to some strict rules, giving it a distinctively industrial, angular look. It's designed so that the spaces between characters all align in a strong grid. It can bring a ton of personality to signage, branding, editorial and packaging projects where you can afford to be a bit experimental.

Clinica Pro is a modern take on Swiss grotesques, with a little bit of an added personality. It features 8 weights, italics, 6 sets of figures, small caps and a bunch of ligatures. Still relatively neutral, it lets a brand stand out of the grotesque-crowded environment with support for multiple languages as well as Cyrillic script.

CA Fourty Open is another take on the idea of a double-line font. It reminds us of neon-sings, but lifts the 50s aesthetics to a contemporary level. The first release of XLaserTrain, a toy train font, was constructed by taking bits from the four LetterTrain fonts. Version 2, released in late 2010, added a great many cars with holiday and party themes. The bold version has smoke over the cars and you may have to adjust line spacing (leading) to have it display properly.
