Column Sans, talking about space efficiency. The character set that condensed can maximize the use of limited space without losing good legibility aspects. The typeface is very appropriate to be used as a text in a small column widths, display text, caption, title, author credit on the film, etc. Column Sans is available in OpenType format in the three weights Light, Regular, and Bold, whereby there are corresponding italics for all variants. In the same narrow italic versions, the "a" has a closed form while the "f" has a descender. Besides of standard ligature, this typeface is also equipped with some additional ligature and deligature like "fr", "tt", "cb", "ch", "ck" and so on as well as three "stylistic ligature": "the", "Mr" and "Mrs". Aduana is the first typographic product of argentine-chilean typographic archeology project called "Valpo. Ciudad de Letras" (Fabio Ares & Karin Thiers, since 2016). Based on the letter located on the front of the Customs building (Valparaíso, Chile). The resultant family can be described as display type and modern renaissance style, with geometric shapes and serif and mild line modulation. The proceeds from the sale of the fonts will be used to finance the project.

In the early years of the 20th Century, singer-dancer-actor-composer-playwright George M. Cohan was known as "The Man Who Owned Broadway". In 1904, Cohan was enjoying success with his latest creation, "Little Johnny Jones". Cohan gave America what would become a number of iconic songs, and both he and his compositions were immortalized in the 1942 biographical film "Yankee Doodle Dandy" starring James Cagney. The Art Nouveau-influenced hand lettering of the title on the cover of the sheet music for "The Yankee Doodle Boy" was the model for its namesake digital typeface design and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

First, the important information…Nori is a hand-lettered typeface that contains over 1100 glyphs, 250 ligatures, 487 alternate characters, 125+ swash and titling alternates, lining and old style numerals. To make sure it is perfectly clear—Nori is the result of brush and ink on paper. The textures produced in each glyph are real and the imperfections are intentional and add to the sincerity of the letters. I say this to be as blunt as possible in order to avoid confusion and to frame what this typeface represents—calligraphic, handwritten letters captured digitally for their warmth and poetic variation for print and screen. Like my handwritten, calligraphic or brush-driven faces before it (the Baka series and the TDC2 2010 winning typeface, Fugu), Nori is a product of my analog and digital hand. To view the words and sentences formed by this typeface is to look at how my hands, yes hands, make letters. The fluidity, as well as the irregularity, is human, honest and intentional—to do so lets the brush I am holding breathe life into each letter. Once digital, any number of points and repetitive processes can’t mask its influences—and I like that. The brush, a simple instrument, my tool, my friend designed to emulate traditional Japanese sumi-e brushes... the Pilot Japan Kanji Fude brush pen. Each letter, each variation was written over and over again until I found the right combination. From there, each was scanned, digitized and optimized. Points were removed in order to ‘clean’ the glyphs up some but I did not want to compromise the integrity of the actual brush stroke. Once this base set of characters (about 350) were completed, the thoughtful manipulation of the glyphs, their gestures and forms were further expanded to solidify the embellishments used within the ligatures, alternates, swashes and additional features. This process was admittedly self-indulgent to an extent. I wanted the words created with this typeface to have the flexibility of variation and cohesiveness of movement that someone fluidly producing these letters by hand might have.  I hope you enjoy this typeface as much as I did during the six months working on it. Since the release of his first typeface, Zulia Pro, Joluvian has spent his time dedicatedly experimenting with an array of calligraphic styles and typography, before starting on his second typeface, Salamat. The journey began on a trip to Asia, where Joluvian was inspired by his time in the Philippines. After a series of discarded type sketches, the first stroke of what is now Salamat was then born.   What at first was a quick sketch, over time, evolved into a stylized typography; that lends to humanistic-expressive calligraphy, optimized with wide variety of swash capitals, contextuals ligatures, ascending and descending, starting and ending letters and a wide range of characters for each glyph. Salamat provides the user absolute freedom to play, create words, sentences and even very stylized paragraphs. KatieRose was designed by a calligrapher to have an elegant, handwritten feel, without the fussiness of traditional calligraphic scripts. Its fine hairlines and sculptural downstrokes are easily read at display and smaller sizes alike.

An informal, rather bold typeface without serifs, Mushmellow looks like it might have been written with a marker pen. In addition to the plain and bold weights, it comes with outline and “cactus” variants.

Flatpen is a font that was written with a pen we used to call "Redis-Pen". It had a flat, round tip that enabled you to write letters, with the same width of stroke.

Balega is stencil-like display font, created by German designer Jürgen Weltin in 2002. Balega's letters are very bold, and have a slight italic slant. While some of the uppercase forms appear somewhat sharp, the lowercase is definitively round and friendly. Text set in Balega has a very forward moving motion, as the slant makes all of the letters seem to be lunging toward the right. This gives the typeface a very dynamic feel. Because the counterforms in and between the letters are very narrow, we recommend using Balega in posters and other larger displays, where its design may be truly appreciated. Balega is part of the Take Type 5 collection, from Linotype GmbH."

Cephalonia is a geometric sans-serif with a unique set of alternates that draw their inspiration from classical greek engravings. The crossbars in the alt characters O, E, F and D are the most notable examples of this greek influence. The landscape of Greece and in particular its islands were the inspiration behind the angular A, H and G, which conjure images of rolling hills and waves. Cephalonia's alternate Q and ampersand are completely original designs. Cephalonia combines the simplicity and elegance of the most famous geometric sans-serifs while adding original embellishments that make it something new and exciting. The end result is a typeface that can evoke a classic feeling while simultaneously holding an edgy contemporary feel.

The design of the Jeunesse font family derives from a study of primers which the designer undertook earlier in his career. Jeunesse was designed with the intention of combining excellent legibility and character recognition with the ability to create compact, distinctive words and lines while maintaining basic flourishless letterforms. The sans serif style is pre-dominant in this design, but serifs or rather parts have been added where necessary, mostly at the top left hand parts of the characters, to aid readability. Use Jeunesse as a text and display face. There are also fully sans serif and slab serif versions available which can be used on their own or mixed with each other and the parent fonts.

The characters of Skagwae have no curves, just straight line segments. The letter shapes themselves are fairly standard, but the choppy line segments used to construct them give the fonts a crude, unfinished look that is highlighted at large point sizes. At small point sizes the fonts are surprisingly legible. The family has nine styles. The regular, bold, italic, bold italic, shadow, and shadow inside styles are proportionally spaced. Shadowinside is very similar to regular but is spaced to be used in a layer with the shadow style. SkagwaeMono-Regular and SkagwaeMono-Bold are monospaced versions of the family. A third monospaced style, SkagwaeMono-Rippled, is a distorted version with squiggly lines full of curves.

The name of the font Titla emphasizes it heading and display functionality. At the same time low contrast, narrow proportions, wide variety of weights and clear glyph constructions make it possible to use it for long texts as well. Combination of modern serifs with flexing stems (see n, p,…) brings to the font fresh, informal and noticeable appearance. The character set includes alternative variations and specific 'vertical ligatures' for paired letters that are built with the help of diacritical forms of letters placed above basic ones. This feature also was reflected in the name of the font as Greek 'titlos' means diacritical mark. The font was designed by Oleg Karpinsky and released by ParaType in 2009.

Punto Poly is the layered type system of Punto for cromatic typesetting. Endless effects can be created by 11 stackable layers and different colors. The dots of Punto Poly are not made up of grid-based dots, they are optical corrected and there is always the same distance between the dots, with the aim to create more harmonic letterforms. The dots also vary gradually in size to reflect the thickening and thinning of strokes, giving the letterforms a sophisticated overall look. Punto Poly comes up with 11 layer system and is perfectly suited for logos, posters, brands and magazines. The language support includes Western, Central and Eastern European character sets, as well as Baltic and Turkish languages.
