The name of this typeface, David Aubert, comes from the calligrapher of Philippe Le Bon and Charles Le téméraire, both Dukes of Burgundy who worked and lived in Brussels in the 1500s. This revival of his writing is a good example of the bâtarde bourguignonne style.

The font Antique Slabserif JNL was run through a filter to create a design that looks like worn type at smaller settings or jaggedly distressed lettering in larger type heights. The end result is Radio Interference JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Australis is a hybrid roman font that won first prize in the Morisawa International Type Design Competition in 2002. After 10 years the family is finally complete and its release coincides with the reopening of the competition in 2012, in Japan. Designed by Francisco Gálvez Pizarro.

Bloktor Mosaik JNL from Jeff Levine was at first a straightforward brick design sent to Typodermic's Ray Larabie for preview. Ray decided to run it through a filter to see what would happen, resulting in a font that emulates the look of cut stone or tile.

Inscription is the work of Alan Meeks, a bold copperplate script with a fine open line running throughout. The relatively restrained initial capitals are complemented by a lowercase which joins together in the style of true handwriting. Inscription will give any text a look of refined elegance.

Mahalia draws inspiration from vintage hand-lettering, but adds a modern, European twist. Strongly slanted at a 25 degree angle, Mahalia draws immediate interest, but is still graceful. CAPITALIZED, geometric, bold and round. If the typo­grapher sees a font like that, it's enough to make his toes curl. But sometimes it just has to be that way. Geometrically constructed fonts do not necessarily have to be pointed and angular; It also works consistently around. And if I say it consistently, then in this case, that's done consistently. The basis for the BOULE is the circle. The letters are drawn with constant line width, the “corners“ and endings all have the same radius, the lines are all the same thickness. The BOULE consists only of capitals. As the name implies, it is the outer contour of the letters, combined with a shadow at the bottom left. The name BOULE (French for ball) says it already: this font is globated. Therefore, it is also very suitable for all three-dimensional alienation effects. With simple light and shadow you can achieve a very convincing 3D effect with little effort.

Magola is a creamy flavor font family whose purpose is to season with emotions the reading of words and phrases formed by puffy glyphs coated with a caramel of empty spaces external and internal. Independently or in groups, members of the family serve to decorate and organize packaging or advertising material in letters apparently crafted for food or entertainment contexts. Its starting point was to draw letters like a ballon fish evolved into a black version with empty areas and microscopic contrasted with colorful inflated and filled areas. I started this font on a Monday and I finished it the Monday after, so I guess the name is right! Another Monday started off as a bit of doodling (with a Sharpie pen) on a piece of paper. Before I knew it, I had a complete glyph set and it looked nice. Another Monday is a bit messy, uneven and maybe even a little weird, but it will look good on postcards, packaging and labels.

Physe. Physe is a basic set of fonts, designed for scrapbooking and general use. It comes in a variety of versions, with a light version, expanding up to bold. Many hurdles were taken to finalize this version, both physical and electronic. Like all of us, as I grow older, my glaucoma keeps pace with my arthritis, while I look on in amusement, hedging my bets on which will be the one to finally complete my retirement.

The typeface was designed after seeing a photocopy of some News Gothic text where the ink had faded on the bottom of each character. As character recognition is generally based on the top half of a character, readability was never compromised. Rather like Antique Olive the characters have a top heavy look when viewed straight on, however, as most type is read at an angle with the top further away than the bottom this top heavy look is diminished.
