Chico was by designed by Javier Mariscal and Josema Urós specifically for the final roll of credits in the animated film Chico y Rita. The goal was to design a typeface with a good readability but that conveyed a strong script character and, in some way, tuned to the style of line used throughout the film. Using a modular sans-serif as a template, Javier Mariscal reinterpreted the forms freely, while maintaining gridlike proportions. Chico can be useful for comic-book lettering, editorial work and display applications.

Stencil Machine JNL replicates the lettering of a stencil cutting machine. The stencils produced on such machines were primarily used for carton identification and shipping.

A Tarte Tatin is a French upside down apple pie. The story goes that one of the Tatin sisters (who ran Hôtel Tatin in Lamotte-Beuvron 169 km south of Paris), was baking a regular apple pie, but put the apples first and, realising her mistake, tried to rescue the dish by adding the pastry and sticking it in the oven. Tarte Tatin is a really nice all caps font. It was made with a Japanese brush pen on rough paper. Tarte Tatin comes with extensive language support and a set of alternates for the lower case letters.

What has become a rite of passage at baseball games got its start in 1908 when lyricist Jack Norworth and music composer Albert Von Tilzer wrote "Take Me Out to the Ball-Game" (which was published by Von Tilzer's York Music Company). The Art Nouveau hand lettered title on the cover of the sheet music was eccentric and attractive enough to warrant being turned into a digital type face, and in honor of its namesake song is called Ball Game JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.

Chapter 11 is a pseudo-random typewriter font with the ribbon on the fritz. The single font contains four different character sets of varying ranges. Heinz is inspired by the poster design of Heinz Schulz-Neudamm for Fritz Lang’s famous silent movie Metropolis. Heinz Schulz-Neudamm did quite a lot of work for the German branches of big American movie companies like 20th Century Fox or MGM. His most famous work is probably the title lettering for the Metropolis movie. The original drawing for that poster sold in 2005 in London for 398.000 Pound Sterling (approx. US $ 600.000). The original Carbon is a popular face at T26. It was released in 2003 under influence of modern typewriter and OCR typeface. Carbon Plus, a re-work version, was commissioned by local communication technology firm and is now available for commercial release. This revised version was designed with more sensible letter forms in order to add some human touch to the face. The initial release of this font also known as Carbon C6.
