The forms are inspired by letterforms found on a frieze in the Vesta temple in Tivoli. Vesta has more contrast than the average sans serif but, like many of other designs of Gerard Unger, let in a lot of light - the letterforms are open, the counters generous. Relatively narrow and hence economical - without feeling too compressed - Vesta is an ideal solution for newspapers and magazines, and numerous other applications, including corporate identity and more. Big Vesta was intended as Vesta's display partner. However, it also performs very well at small sizes - its large x-height and short ascenders and descenders make it particularly economical, making it ideal when space is limited; for example on a mobile display. Jantar Sharp is a text family with flared terminals that eludes the catego­ries of serif or sans. Its most recognisable features are taken from both styles to achieve proper design and high legibility standards. Jantar Sharp performs especially well when used for continuous reading including texts on web platforms. Its personality lies in the flared stroke endings and certain details which make its shapes neither sans nor serifs. Rather than following any particular historical model, it picks up elements from various periods to achieve an organically dynamic look which is entirely compatible with the reading process. Jantar Sharp Italic makes a nice contrast, though the pace and proportions are not drastically different from the upright. This allows for effortless reading of longer passages of italicised text. Jantar Sharp – as well as its teammate Jantar Flow – has been designed in seven weights from ExtraLight to Heavy, all with accompanying italics; it has a tabular and proportional set of figures in both old style and lining options are included together with a special set of hybrid figures sitting between x-height and capitals. Superscripts and subscripts are provided together with a vast collection of diacritics covering all European language and a set of case-sensitive characters.

Two attractive cast metal door signs reading "Men" and "Ladies" from back in the Art Deco era inspired the idea for Nameplate JNL. The left parenthesis key starts the border decoration, and the right parenthesis key closes it off. Nameplate JNL has just a basic A-Z and numeral set; the letters "floating" within the parallel lines of the border to form complete nameplates, apartment numbers or any similarly encased words. A period, comma, apostrophe and dash are on their respective keys. A small blank space is on the left bracket key, a medium space is on the right bracket key and a large space is on the left brace key. There is a small, complete frame on the right brace key. For names such as "MacDonald" or "McIntyre", the small "ac" is on the colon key and the small "c" is on the semicolon key. No kerning has been applied in order to give the type more of an antique, "mechanically assembled" look.

Taco is a new Mexican style font family based on our Tavern and Algerian Mesa type designs. When I finished the extra heavier weights for Tavern I decided to play around with a decorated version, the extra bold letters allowed for much more room to work with an inlay pattern. After experimenting with several designs I decided on a Mexican pattern because the original base font is very popular in Mexican restaurant logos and menus plus it's frequently used on Tequila bottle labels. I originally planned three weights for the Taco font family, however, after completing the bold weight I've decided to release it now so you may put it to use while the regular and extra bold are being produced, sorry I can't estimate a release date for the two other weights. To use the fill font layers you'll need an application that allows you to work in layers such as Adobe Creative Suite products. The Taco Fill Uno font may be used as a stand alone font, however, we recommend searching for our Tavern font family where you'll find three different bold weights of this same design. Opentype features aware applications are also needed for accessing the many alternate glyphs in Taco, all the alternates that you love in our Tavern fonts are also available in Taco. While the fill font layers are in registration with one another some applications may throw them out of alignment by changing the spacing. Custom inter letter spacing in Adobe Creative Suite may also throw the fill fonts out of alignment. We recommend doing your custom spacing first then duplicate the type layer and change to the next fill font and color. The inspiration for the Taco name of this font family was from a homemade Taco dinner I made for a guest at my house, after dinner I searched to see if there was a commercial font named Taco. There was no such font named Taco and the rest is history. The old Stephenson Blake Algerian font has come a long way since 1908, and we're not done with it yet. The Postea font family is Veronika Burian and José Scaglione’s take on German geometric typefaces, reshaped with the right attributes for setting paragraphs and headings, and perfect for branding and text use.
