Vinque is an interpretation of a nineteenth century Arts & Crafts revival of medieval lettering. British type designer William Morris completed Troy in 1891—a splendid blackletter typeface in the medieval style. It’s beautiful but some modern uses like UI and video game text require a less ornate gothic appearance. Vinque is simple. It avoids strong vertical blackletter strokes which can present problems for contemporary readers. The end result is an uncomplicated, crisp typeface that successfully conveys medievalness to the reader. Vinque was released in 2002 in one style: Regular. In 2019, Vinque was expanded to seven weights and italics. Language support was bolstered to support most current Latin based languages as well as Greek and Cyrillic. OpenType fractions, f-ligatures and old-style numerals are supported.

Green Fairy is a chromatic font family highly ornamented for display purposes. Green Fairy’s characters have been specifically designed to accommodate its loops and ornaments following a modern typeface structure. Green Fairy has four chromatic weights: 1. Green Fairy Outline 2. Green Fairy Dots 3. Green Fairy Stencil 4. Green Fairy Full The outline weight has been created as the base or structure for the other weights. You can combine these weights as well as add colours to obtain multiple effects and type styles. Green Fairy has also three combined weights (combos) to simplify your work flow, for these occasions when you only want to use one single colour in your font: 5. Green Fairy Dots Combo 6. Green Fairy Full Combo GREEN FAIRY ORIGINS The origin of this typeface is the lettering I designed in October 2015 as part of my illustrated cocktail artwork called “Absinthe. La Fée Verte (The Green Fairy)”. Originally, this lettering only featured eight letters “AB·SINTHE” vector drawn in Illustrator. Right after creating the full-colour artwork, I designed a fountain-letterpress print version of it, in collaboration with Ladies of Letters, A.K.A. Carla Hackett and Amy Constable from Saint Gertrude Fine Printing. At the beginning of 2016 –and thanks to the project @36daysoftype– I found the motivation, and most importantly the deadline, to draw the rest of the twenty-six letters of the uppercase alphabet using Illustrator. I started 2017 having my first two calligraphy courses sold out, so I took this amazing opportunity to devote myself to Green Fairy for a few months. In February 2017, I purchased the font software Glyphs and I started to re-draw all twenty-six letters of the uppercase alphabet again. PRODUCTION PROCESS Green Fairy started being one weight, but quickly turned into a layered/chromatic font. Things were going more or less fine till I arrived to the Dots weight: 1) I started drawing squares following a grid; 2) Then, the squares turned into diamonds following the same grid; 3) Then, the grid wasn’t working so well on the round letters so I tried randomising the position of the diamonds but it didn’t work; 4) So I went back to the grid, and this time scaled down the size of the diamonds creating a visual half-tone effect. I spent over four weeks working on the Dots weight and I felt like I was in the middle of a very long tunnel and I couldn’t see the light at the end. I encountered many other problems along the way but by June 2017, I felt I was back on track again. I kept working, tweaking, re-drawing and re-adjusting, and then the diacritics came on board… And then more re-drawing, re-tweaking, re-adjusting and then numbers… And then spacing, symbols, and currencies… And then more spacing, kerning, contextual kerning for triplets… In September 2017 I told myself “that’s it, I’m going to finish it now!” But guess what? More re-tweaking, testing, hinting, testing, rendering, testing… For those of you not familiarized with typeface design, it is extremely time consuming and it requires a lot of hard work, focus and determination. Athabasca is "Wild West" Tuscan on steroids. Remember those stylised tall and narrow typefaces that used to appear in Wild West comics, Western movies, "Wanted" posters and so forth? Well, here’s a new, 2017 released take on the idea. Have fun!

Compass St – a new addition to the existing Compass TRF Stencil fonts, originally released in 2010. Package consists of two fonts with rather different, both decorative, styles. Typeface is released in OpenType format with extended support for most Latin languages.

Cintra Slab font family has been designed for Graviton Font Foundry by Pablo Balcells in 2014. It is a slab serif, bold, geometric typeface with subtle rounded angles, which provides a soft, pleasant appearance. Cintra Slab consists of 8 styles.

Lourino is a flowing script typeface, drawn by Måns Grebäck during 2018 It is a high-quality font with cute letter shapes and large, round capitals. The font has an extensive set of characters and supports all Latin based European languages.

ATC Abernathy, is a soft serif typeface based on retro package design. With a modern influence, it bridges the gap between old and new. Contains 330+ glyphs, full alphabet, ligatures, numerals, accents and punctuation. ATC Abernathy was released in 2018.

SD Quainton was created in 2016 by Jonathan Quainton the co-founder of graphic design studio Sawdust. With a harmonious blend of Didone and Bauhaus elements Quainton embarks on a fresh and innovative direction. Drawing inspiration from revered typefaces like Bodoni and Didot, SD Quainton evokes the same sense of awe that captivated its creator. Although ideally suited for eye-catching headlines and titles due to its delicate strokes, the possibilities of where this remarkable typeface may find its place are as limitless as the designer's imagination.

Askan is a new serif face which is suitable both for a pleasant experience in reading texts as well as for striking headlines and for subtext applications with the heavier weights.  Askan shows that it was designed in 2019, generally avoiding any reference to historical models. The reduced number of formal elements results in a clear and contemporary look.  The Askan family consists of 18 styles and is well equipped for advanced typography. It comes in OpenType format with extended language support. All weights contain small caps, ligatures, superior characters, proportional lining figures, tabular lining figures, proportional old style figures, lining old style figures, matching currency symbols, fraction- and scientific numerals, matching arrows and alternate characters.

Supra Extended – designed by Gert Wiescher in 2013 – is the extended version to this new sans typeface family of eight weights. The extended version is designed for sheer elegance and has no italics because they didn't look nice to me. The light and normal weights and the dominant x-height with its high ascenders make for easy reading of long copy. The heavy and x-light weights are great for elegant headlines. Supra is an OpenType family for professional typography with an extended character set of over 700 glyphs. It supports more than 40 Central- and Eastern-European as well as many Western languages. Ligatures, different figures, fractions, currency symbols and smallcaps can be found in all cuts.

Shaqa is a bold and beautiful inline typeface designed by Natsuko Hayashida in 2014. The eye-catching poster style of Shaqa has a graphic quality which is especially well suited for strong headlines and titles. Shaqa matches well with the Komela font family.

Nünooska is a sans serif type designed by Luke Turvey in 2014. The minimalist charm of Nünooska offers a soft unique style while remaining legible and clean. This rounded geometric sans serif is designed to look excellent for display or printed publication.

Maisonneuve is named after the fracture I had in 2019. During the period of revalidation this font was born passed on circles and rectangles. A modern – almost modular – font with old school figures and lots of symbols and good readability and legibility.

Levnam is a sans-serif family with quite wide proportions, slightly thickened terminals and wide sidebearings. The font is well suitable for setting text in small point sizes, similar to Bell Centennial or Verdana. Designed by Manvel Shmavonyan. Released by ParaType in 2015.

ATC Duel is a strong, extra heavy multi-width sans-serif display font with sharp edges and an extended horizontal span, inspired by the automotive industry. Font contains 500+ glyphs, full alphabet, ligatures, numberals, accents and punctuation. ATC Duel was released in 2016.
