My kids asked me what killed the dinosaurs. I told them it probably was a meteor strike off the coast of Yucatán in Mexico. So, when I made this font, that little talk about the meteor hitting earth came to mind and a font name was born! Meteor strike is a slightly slanted brush font. It was made with my Chinese ink and a cheap brush (like most of my brush fonts). Meteor Strike comes with an attitude and a cheeky grin. It will sure leave a lasting impact on your designs!

Aduana is the first typographic product of argentine-chilean typographic archeology project called "Valpo. Ciudad de Letras" (Fabio Ares & Karin Thiers, since 2016). Linotype Feltpen is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. This fun font was designed by the Swedish artist Lutz Baar with clear, light forms. The spontaneous, even letters seem to have been written with the felt pen from which the font takes its name. Linotype Feltpen is available in two weights, regular and medium, both suitable for short and middle length texts and medium for headlines as well.

I made this font using my index finger and Chinese ink. I thought the ink would come off easily, but I can tell you: it doesn’t. I have been walking around with a black stained finger for a week now and I do get strange looks from people every so often… Fingerfood, of course, is hand made. It is a rather playful font - all caps, but lower and upper case differ and like to mingle. Comes with a full diacritics palette.

For some reason I had to think of Moby Dick (the classic book by Herman Melville) when I was busy working on this font. No, I don’t live near the sea, nor do I have a pet whale. It’s just one of those things… Whalebone (named after Captain Ahab’s prosthetic leg) is a handmade, all caps brush font. It wasn’t actually made with a brush; I used a broken satay skewer and Chinese ink. Whalebone comes with discretionary ligatures for double letter combinations.

Coppint is a font formed with serenity and imagery in patterns that refer to warmth and harmony. Even so, this font also gives each letter an elegant and semi-modern impression. When this font was created, Ridwan Fadilah, the designer, said that this font must race in a contextual and basic fundamental hierarchy. Thus, this font also provides stylistic weight, from smallest to largest. So that it can become a unit that can be used in optical text.

Breda is a Geometric Sans-serif; it is constructed from simple geometric shapes such as the circle and rectangle. This family of fonts starts from a very thin single-line face to a strong heavyweight, called Black Face. The Breda font is austere style, functional and clear, emerged from straight lines, primary shapes, which is now jumping into the typographic and graphic design scene. They are presented in six wights with their corresponding italics.

Gildersleeve evokes the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement of the 1920s. Think of a hand-cut Roman display face, with loving care lavished over each serif and letterform. The Algerian designer Taouffik Semmad created the fonts in 1997. Taouffik Semmad grew up speaking Algerian-Arabic dialect and French, studied Russian, and is now living in Montreal. This could perhaps explain his current passion, to "find a universal writing", which he admits is a Utopian idea. Created with brush and Chinese ink, the characters of ITC Atmosphere came from Semmad's hand but only after they were fully formed in his mind's eye.

I am not one for prophecies of impending disaster and all that, don’t worry! I just liked the name and it seems to suit this handmade font quite well. Symbolic Prophecy was made with a broken bamboo satay skewer and Chinese ink. I quite like using broken satay skewers, as they give a fantastic ‘random’ effect. Use Symbolic Prophecy for your posters, your product packaging and, just maybe, a sign about the end of times… ;-)

CoreDodam is a geometric shaped title font with unique structure. The shape of each character is very simple and modern. Depending on shape, some characters have different heights. It makes the line of text rhythmically. Supported codepages are MS Windows 1252 Latin1 and MS Windows 949 Korean consisting of 11,172 Korean letters and Symbols except Chinese. We recommend to use for the title or short sentence on posters and especially useful for design works.

With initial thoughts of creating something tubular, I had in the back of my mind the kind of contemporary chrome furniture that became ubiquitous throughout the 60s and that concept remained with me throughout the development process. The font-styling idea worked out very well in this case, resulting in plenty of optional character variations for my chosen theme, most of which are included in both styles of light and bold character sets.

Adieu is an old-fashioned display font traced and modified from a group of Victorian fonts. It is very stylized, but it is very attractive to many of my clients.
