Cruz Cantera is a crisp and stylish yet informal sans serif typeface created by NYC type designer Ray Cruz. It is a slightly condensed design. The vertical strokes have rounded terminals, and there are some characters with serifs. Notable characters include the upper and lowercase E. There are three weights and each works equally well alone, or together for both display and text. Original design by Ramon Cruz completed in 2002.

Teamhair Tower is a “rough” monowidth font based on the face used on the old Sears Tower Gaelic manual typewriter. Teamhair was first digitized in 2002 by Michael Everson and originally used the MacGaelic character set on the Macintosh platform, and ISO/IEC 8859-14 on the PC. In 2008 Doire version 3 was released in OpenType format, completely compliant with Unicode encoding and with an extended character set.

Personlighed was originally a handdrawn font, but I decided to trace each glyph and make this super clean font instead. The idea of the font is about making a hybrid between the handdrawn lines and the “computerized” vector. If you look closely, I have some uneven lines here and there (not many, but are here and there!) I’ve also added some alternative versions of j, k, q, r and the ampersand

The original characters, and now-rarely-seen alternate characters, for Memphis, designed by Emil Rudolf Weiss for American Type Founders in 1930, provided the pattern for this wispy, ultralight typeface. A revival of one of the popular wooden type fonts of the 19th century, suitable for display. The bold version has rounded ball shapes at top and bottom of stems as well as at horizontal strokes. The 1888 edtion of James Conner's Sons United States Type Foundry specimen book listed this little gem simply as "Antique Light". Its original, rather anemic outlines have been beefed up and its serifs have been rounded, with the result that this face will get noticed wherever it goes. Both versions of this font include the complete Latin 1252 and CE 1250 character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Released in 2006 under the name Flatrock this new 2020 version takes back the original name of Big Cat. From the pages of the 1939 French lettering book “Modèles de lettres modernes par Georges Léculier” (“Models of Modern Lettering”) comes an attractive and unusual set of initial drop caps made from square letters adorned with multiple vertical lines. Inspired by a biography of Coco Chanel and trying to capture the quintessential mood of classical fashion elegance, Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini designed Coco Gothic looking for the effect that the first geometric sans typefaces (like Futura, Kabel or the italian eponyms like Semplicità) had when printed on paper. The crisp modernist shapes acquired in printing charme and warmth through a slight rounding of the corners that is translated digitally in the design of Coco Gothic. The ITC Franklin™ typeface design marks the next phase in the evolution of one of the most important American gothic typefaces. Morris Fuller Benton drew the original design in 1902 for American Type Founders (ATF); it was the first significant modernization of a nineteenth-century grotesque. Named in honor of Benjamin Franklin, the design not only became a best seller, it also served as a model for several other sans serif typefaces that followed it. Originally issued in just one weight, the ATF Franklin Gothic family was expanded over several years to include an italic, a condensed, a condensed shaded, an extra condensed and, finally, a wide. No light or intermediate weights were ever created for the metal type family. In 1980, under license from American Type Founders, ITC commissioned Victor Caruso to create four new weights in roman and italic - book, medium, demi and heavy - while preserving the characteristics of the original ATF design. This series was followed in 1991 by a suite of twelve condensed and compressed designs drawn by David Berlow. ITC Franklin Gothic was originally released as two designs: one for display type and one for text. However, in early digital interpretations, a combined text and display solution meant the same fonts were used to set type in any size, from tiny six-point text to billboard-size letters. The problem was that the typeface design was almost always compromised and this hampered its performance at any size. David Berlow, president of Font Bureau, approached ITC with a proposal to solve this problem that would be mutually beneficial. Font Bureau would rework the ITC Franklin Gothic family, enlarge and separate it into distinct text and display designs, then offer it as part of its library as well. ITC saw the obvious value in the collaboration, and work began in early 2004. The project was supposed to end with the release of new text and display designs the following year. But, like so many design projects, the ITC Franklin venture became more extensive, more complicated and more time consuming than originally intended. The 22-font ITC Franklin Gothic family has now grown to 48 designs and is called simply ITC Franklin. The new designs range from the very willowy Thin to the robust Ultra -- with Light, Medium, Bold and Black weights in between. Each weight is also available in Narrow, Condensed and Compressed variants, and each design has a complementary Italic. In addition to a suite of new biform characters (lowercase characters drawn with the height and weight of capitals), the new ITC Franklin Pro fonts also offer an extended character set that supports most Central European and many Eastern European languages. ITC Franklin Text is currently under development.

Ballin is a throwie style graffiti font that features super tight spacing and overlapping characters to create an authentic street style look. This font could be straight from a tag under a bridge or on a train car. Ballin would be perfect for apparel projects, band merch, sports content & lots of other creative work.

Aspidistra is a modern vintage typeface; which is to say a Studio K original with a period feel: it has a strong Art Nouveau influence (a distant cousin of Arnold Bocklin). Why Aspidistra? In the first half of the last century an Aspidistra was a must have accessory of the aspiring middle classes (see George Orwell's Keep the Aspidistra Flying), and to my mind this font evokes the chintzy charm of that era.

Stalker is one of those necessary fonts in a designer's toolbox: Grungy sans serif caps that are most useful for entertainment project chores. Originally made in the summer of 2003 for set and prop design of an Alliance film, Stalker is now available in retail form for those who are particular about their entertainment design or those who use broken letters in their design as means of social commentary or statement on style.

Ranger Rays Rocketeers SRF was originally a freeware font on Jeff Levine's old site, but needed a lot of reworking and cleanup to be user-friendly. Jeff did all of the fixes and provided this charming retro-style font of space-age dingbats to the Stella Roberts Fonts project. The net profits from my font sales help defer medical expenses for my siblings, who both suffer with Cystic Fibrosis and diabetes. Thank you.

Jh Fares is a modern / simple Kufic style font. The user may notice plenty of white space around the text leading to a highly readable font. The Kufic script is one of the oldest Arabic Handwriting, first appeared in el Koufa - Iraq. The original calligraphy was derived from the Aramaic letters; later it went thru lots of enhancements. Its typical uses include decorative writings for Mosques / palaces, Magazines / Newspapers / Books titles and Greetings.

GL Miraflores is a nice slab serif font with the name of a Spanish village. It is an elegant vintage resource perfect for decorations, but also works perfectly for plain text, as you can see in the previews. The origin of the inspiration to create it is in the free font 'Molesk' as you can see in the capital letters. Hope it will be really useful for your arts from now on.

This dotty delight, with its exceptional x-height, is based on handlettering presented in one of Hal Martin’s many Idea Books for Signmen, Artists and Displaymen, published in the 1930s. The ball terminals on several letters in the original alphabet have been enlarged to punctuate the page with dancing dots, suggesting the game which gives this typeface its name. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Hounslow is closely related to Acton in structure, and takes the latter’s simple block construction into the third dimension. Three variants – open, solid and shadow – can be freely mixed in one setting for effect. Originally designed solely in the italic variant, an upright was added by request. A further unreleased set with a range of line weights was later commissioned by the New York Times magazine, and used extensively in their television supplement.

Froga font is designed to create minimalistic logos, wordmarks, titles, taglines. The place of lowercase letters is taken by usual sans serif letters, in place of uppercase letters there are unusual letters. You can use unusual characters to emphasize separate letters in your text. Use Mixcase Unmixed font if you need suitable usual lowercase letters. It has similar proportions and the same weight. Iova Nova is based on Jowa Script, designed by J. Wagner in 1967. The typeface has been redesigned, digitized, completed and expanded as OpenType Pro in the profonts studio. The resdesign includes the modification of the numerals which originally had capheight size. Besides, we complete the character set to cover Western and Eastern Europe including Turkey and Romania. The font contains more than 300 characters. Iova Nova is a young, fresh and casual design.

Honeybird originated in a study of calligraphic fonts of the 20th century, took its own direction and developed into a slightly quirky, very readable contemporary script font, typical of Anton Scholtz's free-wheeling style. The exaggerated upper case characters create an exuberance, while the small lower case characters maintain the impression of restrained order with flashes of quirky contrast. Honeybird has 45 OpenType ligatures, designed to ensure the smooth flow of the text.

Thanks to the Quay Brothers, London, who provided me with original materials, I was able to revive Carl Otto Czeschka’s beautiful Czeschka Antiqua which was first released by Genzsch & Heyse in 1917. Since nowadays the word Antiqua rather refers to fonts with serifs, I dropped it, also because this fanciful font is a humanist sans. To get access to all ligatures, it is recommended to also activate the OT feature Discretionary Ligatures.

The original release notes from England’s Stephenson Blake Type Foundry say it all: “a type of some waywardness in design, judged from any typographical standard…a type that seems unable to decide whether to be a roman or a script." Stephenson Blake called their release "Recherché"— sought after or in great demand, which seems quite appropriate.
