This font is the condensed version of Queulat, but keeping the same features as the original typeface. Queulat Cnd is a hybrid typeface that combines different styles, reflecting charm, freshness and, especially, a strong personality.. Since it is a condensed font, it is well-suited for publishing and subheadings. The font is inspired by Modern and Grotesk styles. The former is shown in some characteristic features such as teardrop terminals, which give the typeface an attractive unique look, making it an ideal choice for logotypes and labelling. The latter, with its rationality, makes Queulat Cnd a stable and strong face for headings and subheadings. The combination of styles can be clearly seen by comparing the Regular with the Alt version. ITC Kallos is the work of British designer Phill Grimshaw, a text typeface family with traditional calligraphic flair. It is the result of Grimshaw's first experiments with text typeface design. The long ascenders and descenders of the lowercase alphabet lend them a look of sophisticated elegance. The capitals display the unmistakable influence of the pen and the proportions of classic inscriptional forms.

A 1766 specimen by Isaac Moore, former manager of Joseph Fry’s foundry in Bristol, England, shows many types inspired by John Baskerville’s. But a century later, standardization had foisted inept lining figures and shortened descenders upon these designs. Matthew Carter remedies the tragedy with Big Moore, restoring oldstyle figures, full-length descenders, and historic swashes to this regal serif in two styles.

Coquillage is French for seashell or shellfish. Since I’m going to France this year for a camping holiday with my family, I thought it was a good idea to give this charming connected script a ‘holiday name’! Coquillage was handmade with a Japanese pen. It is a lovely connected script and comes with double-letter ligatures and a full range of diacritics.

The uppercase mimics the typeface used once upon a time in Teletypes, and the lowercase is patterned after the face used during the first half of the twentieth century by Western Union for their telegrams. The new typeface family Vida was specifically designed for Czech Television in the framework of a competition for a new logo in summer 2006. The drawing of each letter form differs finely in its logic, which is a feature invisible at first. It is constructed on a puristic base, but it doesn't reject the natural anomalies already known from ages of experience with latin alphabet. That's why e. g. upper left section of 'n' is constructed differently from that of 'r', similarly as 'd' doesn't repeat right-bottom ending after 'u', '9' is not inverted '6'. Such details improve reading in continuous text. The behavior of all weights is consistent on CRT, plasma or LCD screens due to monolinear design; the lightest weight doesn't fade, the darkest isn't blurred, all is legible and clear in smallest sizes. Stem connections and endings were adjusted to avoid undesirable optical darkening. The goal we desired was to achieve balance appearance in both electronic and printed form.

The Englishman William Caslon punchcut many roman, italic, and non-Latin typefaces from 1720 until his death in 1766. At that time most types were being imported to England from Dutch sources, so Caslon was influenced by the characteristics of Dutch types. He did, however, achieve a level of craft that enabled his recognition as the first great English punchcutter. Caslon's roman became so popular that it was known as the script of kings, although on the other side of the political spectrum (and the ocean), the Americans used it for their Declaration of Independence in 1776. The original Caslon specimen sheets and punches have long provided a fertile source for the range of types bearing his name. Identifying characteristics of most Caslons include a cap A with a scooped-out apex; a cap C with two full serifs; and in the italic, a swashed lowercase v and w. Caslon's types have achieved legendary status among printers and typographers, and are considered safe, solid, and dependable. Carol Twombly designed this Caslon revival for Adobe in 1990, after studying Caslon's own specimen sheets from the mid-eighteenth century. This elegant version is quite true to the source, and has been optimized for the demands of digital design and printing. Adobe Caslon? makes an excellent text font and includes just about everything needed by the discriminating typographer: small caps, Old style Figures, swash letters, alternates, ligatures, expert characters, central European characters, and a plethora of period ornaments.

PT Serif Pro is an universal type family designed for use together with PT Sans Pro family released earlier. PT Serif Pro coordinates with PT Sans Pro on metrics, proportions, weights and design. It consists of 38 styles: 6 weights (from light to black) with corresponding italics of normal proportions; 6 weights (from light to black) with corresponding italics of narrow proportions; 6 weights (from light to black) with corresponding italics of extended proportions; and 2 caption styles (regular and italic) are for texts of small point sizes. Ela Sans is the sister of the typeface I originally designed for the business of my second wife and mother of my two sons, her name is - of course - Michaela. Ela - the typeface - is suitable for magazines, newspapers, posters, advertiments, books, text, documentation/business reports, business correspondence, multimedia, and corporate design. Because lately this typeface became very popular I decided to extend the Ela Sans family to eight weights and I added italic and smallcaps versions to it. So now Ela Sans and Demiserif together is a full fledged typeface family.

The initial characters in China Market were created in 1996 for a logo featuring the Temple of Heaven in Beijing where emperors from the Ming and Qing dynasties worshiped heaven and prayed for abundant harvests. The font was completed in 2010. It is composed of a regularly positioned curved and straight components as if part of a decorative grillwork or other architectural detail. While its influences and origins are clear, its appearance is relies more upon the geometry of its basic elements and the modular structure than a specific stylistic idiom.

The Atoxina family is designed especially for the burgeoning market of starships and other space cruisers. The fonts are ideal for internal and external use (including zero-g and occasional bursts of cosmic rays), and with their simplified forms are expected to survive well in non-linear galaxies. With their unusual diagonal half-pixels the fonts are striking as abstract designs at astronomical sizes, where small text may be placed within the black holes formed inside the letters. The typeface is available in two different styles: Atoxina (regular) and Btoxina (italic).

Giulia is a sweet type family consisting of 12 Fonts. It was created by Hannes von Döhren and published by HvD Fonts. Besides a fancy curly version there is a second version with a more straight architecture, still owning the same soft and friendly character. Informal and easy going at first sight and perfect for display settings, however the straight architecture of Giulia Plain also makes it nice for shorter to medium texts. This contemporary type family is ideal for use in retail, packaging, games, food, kids applications and advertising.

This family was inspired by the set of fonts used in Paris by Ponce Rosset, aka “Faucheur” to print the account of the second voyage to Canada by Jacques Cartier, first edition, in 1545. It is a Garalde set, the punchcutter is unknown, certainly it was not Garamond himself. In our two styles (normal and italic), fontfaces, kernings and spaces are scrupulously the same as in the original. This Pro font covers Western, Eastern and Central European languages (including Celtic) Baltic and Turkish, with standard and long-s ligatures in each of the two styles.

Although brass line rules were a common feature in almost every vintage type catalog, these were recreated from those by the Franklin Type Foundry. Filling the Numerals and all Capital and Lowercase glyph slots are a total of 62 traditional Brass Rule designs, all extendable by combining with other rules, or by extending the pin line by simply typing a dash "-". Caffe was originally designed for the Artz Gallery Cafe in Budapest Hungary. The design is a contemporary handwriting style adapted from examples in lettering exercise books. It has been redrawn and expanded into six styles. The four weights were created by drawing the style using different mediums: Cappuccino in pen, Pastry in felt-tip, Lemonade in brush, and Tobacco—the original—in pencil. Poster and Poster Inline round out the family and are well suited for display purposes. This font family is perfect for bistro menus or other European-flavored poster and print design.

Biffo was designed by David Marshall and produced in 1964. The alphabet in handwritten style has the character of writing done with a broad tipped pen. The figures are round and flexible, even its vertical strokes have rounded edges, softening the look of the characters.
