My son Sam saved all his pennies for a trip to Japan with me. Hi dream came true this year and we traveled around Honshu for 10 days. One of the things on his ‘to do’ list was eating yakitori, so I took him to famous Yakitori Alley in Tokyo. The setting was legendary, the smell was great, but the yakitori, unfortuntely, was so-so.. Yakitori Alley is a fun, scribbly script font with language support and a set of contextual alternates.

Chenko is a nod to Alexander Rodchenko the Russian Constructivist artist and designer whose poster work is characterised by its stark, stripped down typography and bold, geometric graphics. It was truly revolutionary in its day, and continues to be influential in ours. Chenko is my own take on his deceptively simple letterforms, and designing a font without a curve or a diagonal (okay I cheated on a few details like the O-slash and A ring characters) presented some interesting design challenges!

The font, Arnold Boecklin, appeared in 1904 with the font foundry Otto Weisert. Traces of the floral forms of the Jugendstil can still be seen in this typeface. Alphabets of this type were mainly meant for larger point sizes, as on posters. A decorative feel was much more important than legibility, and Arnold Boecklin was of particular importance to the book design of the Jugendstil movement. Today the font is often used to remind people of “the good old days”.

The first Century typeface was cut in 1894 by Linn Boyd Benton in conjunction with T L DeVinne for the Century Magazine. It was a blacker, more readable face than the type previously used. Morris Fuller Benton designed the Century Expanded version in 1900 for American Type Founders to meet the Typographical Union Standard of the day. The 'expansion' was in the vertical plane. Century Expanded is a useful font family for text setting in magazines, books, presentations and newsletters.

For this Byzantine Empire calligraphy font, I had to work for 2 weeks and 3-4 hours a day and search the internet. It made me very tired, but I finally finished it, and it was good. This font can use both latin keyboard and greek keyboard. I also added Greek unicode characters. I will adapt this font to the latin alphabet, I will make the full character set font, this will take less time. I wish you good work.

Lewis F. Day, in his Alphabets Old and New, presented these letters as examples of rustic Roman lettering of the first through third centuries, AD. Eckhardt Sans JNL continues Jeff Levine’s “mini series” of fonts modeled after hand-lettering used by sign painters; and named after his good friend, the late Al Eckhardt of Allied Signs in Miami, Florida. Clean and somewhat condensed, this sans face has chiseled edges on many characters and the warmth of the lettering once made by brush or ink pen. Mystery Shot is not your every day all-caps comic font. It is handdrawn with a permanent marker, which explains the sometimes rough edges. I've made 2 versions that mixes for great results. The stroke of the outline version is designed to fall slightly off here and there, and that was done on purpuse to enhance the handmade look of the regular version. What's more is that I added 5 slightly different versions of each letter, and the font has multilingual support!

REALLY fat faces seem to be popular these days, so here's my take on one. The strokes have been expanded to the brink of illegibility, but the letters remain distinguishable, especially in context. Also included are alternate versions of the letter A—suitable for use as first and last letters in a word— in the ASII circumflex and ASCII tilde positions. This font contains the complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252) plus support for Central European (Unicode 1250) languages as well.
