Scribbler, like Double Quick (another one of my fonts), is a handwritten typeface, designed to look like a quick grocery list, a hasty 'I Love You' note penned down on a Post-it or a home improvement to-do list. Scribbler is a little messier than Double Quick, but this may be just your style!

UUeirdie is weird. The Condensed-Light style was derived from the star-serifed font Asterx by replacing the star serifs with a rounded flare serif. Widening that style resulted in UUeirdie-Regular and the bold was then constructed to complement it. The warped version was a result of play with a font distortion program. Although the glyphs have sharp corners, they do not have straight lines. The UUeirdie faces are rough, irregular, and maybe a bit creepy.

Just before the end of 2020 all schools in Holland closed for the second time, because of an increase in the number of COVID 19 cases. This means that my wife and I have to educate our three kids at home. The kids are great and take their tasks seriously, but it is difficult, as all three of them require different educational levels. I am sure you parents understand. Trying to get some work done is virtually impossible, so my wife and I made a schedule and we live by ‘on duty’ and ‘off duty’ days. I was thinking of this when I created this font (obviously on an ‘off duty’ day). Home Education is a handwritten scribble font. It was made with a Sharpie pen (possibly used by one of my kids, because I noticed tiny ink stains on my wooden dining table…). It comes with all the diacritics you can hope for and lovely double letter ligatures for you to play with.

Raljon is a display typeface created by designer and lettering artist Mark Robinson. It is a collaboration between the Mmarkk and Teen-Beat Graphica visual design studios. This single font was created over a period of five years. Nyfors was a sudden idea. I noticed an ad in a magazine, with some handtexted words. I don't recall what the ad was about, neither the words. When I later on tried to remember how the single characters looked like and began to draw them, the result wasn't bad at all. I am not longer sure that they resemble the characters in the ad, but it doesn't matter. Nyfors is a nice handtexted typeface, whatever its origin. There is a small stream in Tyresö where I live and work, called Nyfors. During some centuries there was a center of small scale industries along it, and they used its water to run their machinery. The typeface has its name from that stream. Nyfors was released in 1995.

The Stempel family consists of two fonts; each made to look like a set of block stamps. Each letter appears inside its own roughly drawn square. Stempel One's letters are very simple form/counterform objects. Stempel Two's forms are more ornate: each square stamp has a thin border inside of it, and then the individual letterforms have been knocked-out, so that the colored area depicts the counters around the letters rather than the letters themselves. As a line of text is typed, a box appears for each letter entered, and all of the boxes slightly nudge against each other to form the line. The Stempel fonts have the appearance of a hand-made quality to them. Their forms appear too random, too delicate, and too thought out to have been made on a machine. Using these fonts will add a nice warm, linoleum-cut touch to your work. Both Stempel One and Stempel Two were designed by German designer Martina Balke in 2002, and are part of the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH."
