Dereza is a grotesque typeface designed specially for display use in children’s books and magazines. Books for little ones are usually set in grotesques, and a vigorous font would make a nice addition to the main face. Playful and lively, Dereza is great for any non-grown-up design such as games and toy boxes, cookie jars and cereal packs, clothing labels and other things meant for kids. It looks super in speech bubbles. The Dereza family includes four fonts, from light to bold, with ligatures, lowercase figures and accented characters.

Four fonts entirely of decorative initials of which the uppercase basic letters of RMU Initials One are occupied by Walthari initials, the lowercase ones by Eckmann initials, both released first by Rudhard’sche Gießerei, Offenbach, Germany, about 1900. RMU Initials Two consists of Jubilaeumsinitialen in the uppercases and Augsburger Initialen in the lowercases. RMU Initials Three comes with floral ornaments, whereby the lowercase initials can be colorized by yourself due to non-joining elements. RMU Initials Four consists of hand drawn initials by Rudolf Koch and letters of a former Klingspor font called Queen.

The Atoxina family is designed especially for the burgeoning market of starships and other space cruisers. The fonts are ideal for internal and external use (including zero-g and occasional bursts of cosmic rays), and with their simplified forms are expected to survive well in non-linear galaxies. With their unusual diagonal half-pixels the fonts are striking as abstract designs at astronomical sizes, where small text may be placed within the black holes formed inside the letters. The typeface is available in two different styles: Atoxina (regular) and Btoxina (italic).

Ostent Rounded is based on my first release "Ostent' which is a font family which is inspired by the early Din-Type fonts. In particular, Din 1451. This is reflected in Ostents simple and uncomplicated design, which results in creating a good sense of legibility. Each of the three weights has been carefully designed to work in conjunction with one another, or individually, complimenting other typefaces. Ostent can be used across a wide range of design mediums (both print and screen). There is also a non-rounded version of Ostent available to purchase.

Kettering 105 is inspired by the classic, geometric slab-serifs such as Lubalin, but has shallower ascenders and descenders for a more compact look. It's a versatile, modern slab-serif, highly legible as a text font and with a clean, elegant look as a display font at larger sizes. It includes old style non-aligning (lower case) numbers, both proportional and tabular, as well as accented characters for Central European languages. The Kettering 105 family comprises of six weights and is closely related to Kettering 205, its more intensely Deco flavoured cousin.

The Kimchi font had its starting point in the making of the film "Cloud Atlas", based on the novel by David Mitchell and directed by Lana & Andy Wachowski and Tom Tykwer. A first version of Kimchi was created for "Papa Song" – an underground fast food restaurant in a futuristic Neo Seoul in the year 2144. It was used for the menus, advertisement and packaging. Kimchi was later further developed to become a useable typeface: it works for headlines, street art stencils and of course as logo font for korean fast food restaurants.

My kids love toadstools, especially the red capped ones with the white spots (they’re called Amanita muscaria, a.k.a. fly agaric - in case you’re wondering). A couple of months ago you could find loads of them in the forest, but now they’ve all disappeared. Toadstool font will not disappear, however. It is a very legible, clean and neat text font with an uneven baseline, slightly bouncy glyphs and more diacritics than a forest has mushrooms. Use if for packaging, kids’ book covers and posters. This toadstool is the non-toxic variety, so go nuts.

The Republic Gothic series was among the last original wood type designs manufactured by Hamilton Manufacturing Co. It was first shown in Hamilton's New Gothic Faces in Wood Type (c. 1920). The design features a sans-serif style reminiscent of brush-formed letters popular with sign painters of the era. Originally issued in 6 different widths and in both outline and solid versions, this digital release features the "Extended" width known as Hamilton Republic Gothic series 775 & 776. Museum Borders and Ornaments is part of a typographical treasure, the Norstedts type collection in Sweden. Type designer Torbjörn Olsson has painstakingly translated the original 34 Ornament matrices in the collection to Open Type. Among them are several of Granjon's arabesques, as well as symbols from both Swedish and Danish typefoundries. The signs were cut in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. I became interested in designing Bodoni Classic because of a lazy graphic designer at Jacques Damase publishing house. He had to change a single letter on a bookcover about J. B. BODONI. The French call him Jean Baptiste instead of Giambattista! And that unknown graphic designer just took any old “J” from some newly cut Bodoni. All the new Bodoni cuts have square serifs, whereas the originals had rounded serifs and slightly concave feet. The single letter “J” with the squared off serif was for me like a road sign to start redesigning the entire Bodoni family. That’s exactly what I started in 1993 and a dozen years later I am finished. Okay, I am still adding new Bodoni Classics, but those are my personal additions.
