Ultra Condensed is a three-font family with a full character set. Ultra Condensed is a remastering of Tall Skinny Condensed from 1999 which continues to be a favorite. As a graphic designer, sometimes it’s impossible not to be inspired by the Swiss Style, specifically the work of Armin Hofmann, who is one of its best exponents. Grids and grotesk and neo-grotesk typefaces are a fundamental part of the tools that make this aesthetic possible. A visual language that has caused full admiration since we were students. Therefore, we decided to design Armin as an homage to Hofmann’s work. Introducing Takasimura Typeface Takasimura was inspired by unique and cool Japanese calligraphy. We created the Takasimura font for a design solution with a Japanese concept but internationally readable. Of course, this font is very suitable for designs with Japanese, Asian and Eastern concepts. Novecento Slab Rough adds a letterpress / analog effect to its Slab Serif parent. Each letter has a different pattern and gives you a truly realistic effect. Even accented variants of any base character are all different. A “latin” alphabet modelled on the ethiopian Ge'ez script - an experiment that works. Amhara was created by transferring the typical forms of the Ethiopian Amharic script to the west European alphabet. Because Amharic is traditionally written with an expanded pen tip, it shows the typical ductus also characteristic of the uncial scripts of late antiquity and the early Middle Ages. So this font »Amhara« has a somewhat sacramental effect. And, although the individual forms look foreign, the overall picture is strangely familiar. Bakeshop is a casual script font family. It is drawn with rounded marker so the contrast is quite low. It has bumps at the end of strokes where the pen has stopped and the ink has spread. Bakeshop includes three weights and has both connecting and non-connecting versions. Connecting Bakeshop versions has OpenType features like Final Forms, looping connections with lowercase e, high connecting stroke with ascenders and plenty of discretionary ligatures. You can enable Final Forms either enabling Final Form feature or Contextual Alternates. If you want to use the high connection strokes with ascenders enable Stylistic Alternates or Stylistic Set 2. And if you like to use the ligatures just enable Discretionary Ligatures feature.

This is the tallest, skinniest, most condensed, non serif font I know of. I designed this because I felt a serious need for that one big, thin word to fit in a narrow space. It is great for ‘SALE!’ in a one column ad. Also is a life saver for several long words in a narrow space like Merry Christmas... If you need a full character set take a look at the new Ultra Condensed 3 font family. Ultra Condensed was based on Tall Skinny Condensed with some changes and a full character set. Resist Sans is a free-spirited neo-grotesque that embodies both the innate desire for revolt and a tendency towards uniformity.
