The font I made based on the Greek alphabet used by the Karamanlı Turks, who are Orthodox Christians, by adapting it to Turkish, which I deduced by looking at the inscriptions and translations. In order to write in Turkish, Turkish special characters are loaded with letter combinations and sounds. But it can still be easily written in Greek.

The Ancient North Arabian scripts Ancient North Arabian is the name given to a group of scripts belonging to the South Semitic script family, which also includes the Ancient South Arabian alphabets (musnad and zabūr) and the vocalized alphabets used in Ethiopia for Geʿez, Amharic, etc. The Ancient North Arabian scripts were used both in the oases (Dadanitic, Dumaitic, Taymanitic,) and by the nomads (Hismaic, Safaitic, Thamudic B, C, D, and possibly Southern Thamudic). There are tens of thousands of inscriptions and graffiti in these scripts which were used in the period roughly between the sixth century BC and the fourth century AD. Lower-case lettering is so-called because the characters that we know as lower-case were once kept in the bottom, shallow drawers of a type compositor's typecase. Not a lot of people know that, and we suspect superstar artist and FAIRYTALE FANTASIES Calendar creator, J Scott Campbell doesn't either because even though we looked high and low, in every single one of his drawers, we still could not find a single example of Scott EVER writing in lower case, but we begged him, we pleaded with him and, eventually we HYPNOTIZED him, and here's the font you'll find in J. Berthold Wolpe’s innovative design undertaken for Monotype in 1932 suggests the texture of letters cut in wood. Albertus can be seen as Morison’s improvement of Othello, Monotype’s 1928 copy of Neuland, executed by Pierpont.

Freehand 471 is the Bitstream version of Cascade Script by Matthew Carter. Released by Mergenthaler Linotype in 1965, this design is based on an earlier type by the Ludlow foundry. It's a dark, disconnected script with angular forms. It seems written by heavy marker and thus suitable for informal posters and signage and for advertising and display typography as well. Central European, Cyrillic, and Greek Monotonic characters were designed by Oleg Karpinsky. Released by ParaType in 2011.
