Awkward Gothic JNL gets its name from the fact that it's a non-conformist alphabet - as if rendered by hand by a school child or an amateur lettering artist. Cabarga Cursiva is the work of the father and son team of Demetrio E. Cabarga and Leslie Cabarga, both New York designers. The details of the sharp strokes almost give the impression of a knife blade, whether straight or curved like a scimitar. The capitals should be used only as initials and are complemented by a robust lower case alphabet as well as alternate forms and ligatures.

Sackers Roman is an engraver, all-capitals family for invitations and stationery. The letters have strong contrast between thin and thick strokes. See also Sackers Gothic, Sackers Square Gothic, Sackers Script, and Sackers Classic Roman.

A redraw of Beton, Bauer, Intertype. with additional weights, shorter x-height and new Italic styles. Roman and Italic share same Roman Caps. Hunter has some text kerning but requires subjective display kerning and compensation.

When traveling in Paris, American designer Frederic W. Goudy did a rubbing of a second century marble inscription he found in the Louvre. After ruminating on these letterforms for several years, he drew a titling typeface in 1918, all around the letters P, R, and E. He called the new face Hadriano" as that name was in the original inscription. Robert Wiebking cut the matrices, and the Continental Typefounders Association released the font. Goudy designed a lowercase at the request of Monotype in 1930, though he didn't really like the idea of adding lowercase to an inscriptional letterform. The lowercase looks much like some of Goudy's other Roman faces. Compugraphic added more weights in the late 1970s, and made the shapes more cohesive. Hadriano has nicely cupped serifs and sturdy, generous body shapes. Distinctive individual letters include the cap A and Q, and the lowercase e, g, and z. Hadriano™ is an excellent choice for impressive headings and vigorous display lines."

Qonora is an innovative new sans-serif text face that combines flowing, almost calligraphic strokes with a post-modern sensibility for a look that works as well on the printed page as it does on screen. Its comfortable proportions and no-nonsense streamlining (note the lack of spurs, serifs or any unnecessary ornamentation) make it an excellent choice for legibility even at very small point sizes. Qonora includes a true italic, drawn independently from the Roman. Strokes for the italic have been re-weighted to complement the Roman, and idiosyncratic italic glyphs have been substituted where appropriate. The typeface’s extensive Hebrew implementation (including diacritics and cantillation marks) is an important part of its character. The Latin, Cyrillic and Greek ranges of the face maintain a consistent ethic of form and function.

Pilgrim is a re-cut of a Linotype face that Eric Gill originally designed for a book published by the Limited Edition Club of New York. Admired for its tranquil dignity, the Pilgrim type is both firm and elegant. Its general appearance resembles that of Gill’s Joanna font family. The contrast of the font is not very strong. The serifs are bracketed. Eric Gill, who designed the type on which Pilgrim is closely based, observed one sort of model for his lettering - the incised monumental letter of Roman origin. This is clearly seen in his capitals, but is also true of his lowercase letters, which have little of the calligraphic or engraved qualities of most other type designs. Gill’s types are Roman in the classic sense, yet also particular to Gill himself.

Handy Casual Condensed is an informal non-linking brush script that was inspired by hand lettering from 60's posters. This font combines a unique character with tons of Open Type features including ligatures, catchwords, stylistic alternates etc.

The Englishman William Caslon punchcut many roman, italic, and non-Latin typefaces from 1720 until his death in 1766. At that time most types were being imported to England from Dutch sources, so Caslon was influenced by the characteristics of Dutch types. He did, however, achieve a level of craft that enabled his recognition as the first great English punchcutter. The original Caslon specimen sheets and punches have long provided a fertile source for the range of types bearing his name. Identifying characteristics of most Caslons include a cap A with a scooped-out apex; a cap C with two full serifs; and in the italic, a swashed lowercase v and w. A few of the many interpretations from the early twentieth century were true to the source, as well as strong enough to last into the digital era. These include two from the American Type Founders company, Caslon 540 and the slightly heavier Caslon #3. Both fonts are relatively wide, and come complete with small caps, old style figures, and italics.

Sigillium is a flare serif typefaces, which inspired by early XX centuries sign painting advertising. It has strong historical nature. Letters proportions are very closed to the Roman Capital Letters. Sharp flare serifs endings give special medieval style to the typeface. A handwritten font with a Roman feel.

The design for Aurelia is based on the forms of Jenson, an Old Style typeface developed by Nicolas Jenson in 1470 which still influences type design today. Zapf gave Aurelia a bit of his own personal style and adapted it to the demands of modern technology. The family of typefaces was originally designed for use with the typesetting machines produced by the German company Dr.-Ing Rudolf Hell GmbH which was later merged with Linotype. The name Aurelia is a nod to the Roman emperor Aurelianus (214–275), who built the Via Aurelia in Italy. Aurelia is a robust and classic font, suitable for both text and headlines.

Introducing Aerodyne, a highly versatile font family with seven weights and italics. Rock Concert JNL is a playful free form type design inspired by the opening title and credits for the 1964 motion picture comedy “Send Me No Flowers” starring Rock Hudson, Doris Day, and Tony Randall. Strongly resembling hippie movement poster lettering of the mid-1960s, this fonts fits well with any retro project emulating the “Peace and Love” movement or (as its name implies) re-creating period piece rock concert posters.

CG Times is Compugraphic's version of TimesNew Roman.

Thick horizontals reminiscent of certain Egyptian or western-themed display faces warp into stretched-out glyphs and strange elliptical forms in this haphazard, page-filling font. Sure to evoke images of saturday morning cartoons, zany retro advertisements, and various other expressions of mid-20th century whimsy . Comes packaged in both TrueType and OpenType formats with standard complement of alpha-numeric glyphs, punctuation marks, mathematical symbols, and European diacritics.

Inspired by the hand lettered title on the cover of a mid-1950s comic book [based on the beloved children’s TV host Captain Kangaroo], Treasure House JNL is a casual, playful serif font available in both regular and oblique versions. From 1955 through 1984, the late Bob Keeshan brought the gentle Captain into the living rooms of eager youngsters who were both taught and entertained each weekday morning.
