Neue Konstrukteur Square is an engineered, mechanical typewriter font with a hint of heritage blackletter. Inspired by a trip to Germany this font has five weights from Thin to Black with accompanying italics. That makes 10 font files in total, enough for the most demanding projects. A gothic blackletter font named after the Parler master builder family which built the Schwaebisch Gmuend cathedral. This font contains a bunch of useful ligatures, and by typing 'N', 'o' and period plus activating the Ordinals feature you get an oldstyle numbersign. In this blackletter font the # key is occupied by the 'round' s.

Based on one of the earliest Tuscans, from Thorowgood's foundry. The original was very poorly rendered in 1822, but keep in mind that decorative types were still quite new in the early 1800s. We redrew it, but kept it recognizable.

Ardenwood is based on a wood-carved alphabet from the early 1500s. It features gothic characters with elaborate floral decorations. The lower case has the more basic versions of the letters while the upper case characters are more extensively decorated.

Hoxie JNL is based on an example found in an old sign painter's design book from the early 1900s and has been translated to digital form by Jeff Levine. All of the quirks and charm of hand lettering have remained.

In our early days of type hunting, we considered this to be the prize of our collection. Fonts of this late Victorian period seem to have less ruffles and flourishes than the earlier ones, which makes them easier to read.

Cresci is a carefully digitized reproduction of an alphabet of Giovan Francesco Cresci, the pre-eminent Renaissance writing master whose lettering virtuosity presaged the exuberance of the Baroque. His published writing book, "Il Perfetto Scrittore" (1570) was the inspiration for the typeface, designed by Garrett Boge in 1996. Cresci is part of the LetterPerfect Baroque Set.
