Etewut foundry proudly presents Etewut sans family. It includes 20 font styles and each of them supports extended Latin, basic Cyrillic and modern Greece languages. Styles variety is from formal and bold to italic and decorative. More of all there are many ligatures and alternative symbols in each font. And finally the typeface has minuscule letters and numbers!

Gorgonzo is a creamy new bold typeface designed for attention grabbing headlines. Inspired by a blend of calligraphic strokes and printed letters, it includes a large character set that covers extended Latin, Greek and Cyrillic. Filled with a wide selection of Opentype features, this single weight offers a range of numbers, alternate letters, ligatures and even some typographic fleurons.

The condensed version of Hans van Maanen's Aragon is a headline star. The elements that made Aragon a popular "Dutch Garamond" text repeat here, with the slight stress shifts and tapering stems optimized for headline use. Aragon Condensed also comes in bold and italic variations. All three fonts contain extended language support, superiors and inferiors, and class-based kerning.

Discórdia is a type-family of contrasting contrasts. Each of the four members of the family has a different contrast type. Regular has broad-nib contrast, Bold has horizontal contrast, the Italic is monoline, which means it has no apparent contrast, and Bold Italic is... Well, it’s probably best if see for yourself. These different design structures were fine-tuned to work well together in the same line, creating emphasis and hierarchy through a mini-super-family that groups a wedge-serif Regular, a slab-serif Bold, a sans-serif-ish Italic and a twisted Bold Italic. Created exclusively for an exhibition catalog for the exhibition 'Hail to the King, Baby!'. CA Hail to the King is based upon different letters taken from handmade signs from all over the world. You will find a lot of unexpected specials: irregular character sizes and styles (uppercase characters are bold; lowercase characters are in regular style) everything that makes CA Hail to the King so varied and unpredictable. In addition to west European diacritics an extensive central European character set were added including some very nice stylistic alternates.

Büro Destruct’s «BDR mono» typeface has a long tradition in the font library of typedifferent. Initially designed by Lopetz as a single weight, monospaced Mac PostScript Type 1 font way back in 1999, it got a first update as a little family with light, regular and bold weights, plus an extended glyphs set in Opentype format during 2006. With this 2021 update the typeface received a second rounded family and a complete glyphs set with all needed characters used in the north, east, south and west of Europe. The «BDR mono 2021» serves great in signage, routing people, architecture, technical plans, manuals, or even science and fiction related communications.

Rough and ready, bold and urgent. Or playful and fun in bright colours. The original letters were cut from actual potatoes, then scanned in and converted to vector outlines. Lighter and more heavily inked versions were used for the three variants. Using Opentype character-substitution technology, Salvation rotates through three versions of each letter to create a naturally uneven printed effect. Unlike hot metal type, the potatoes were cut the right way around. This produced reversed prints, which were then flipped back in Photoshop. Originally produced for Hughes' Get Lettering activity book, the font was then extended to cover numbers, punctuation and full European language support.

Destra is a contemporary, narrow serif family, suitable to save space and legible at small sizes. Its shapes are the result of a mix of styles. "Destra" is the Portuguese word for "right hand". Wak is a lively calligraphy-based sans serif. The simplicity and smoothness of its forms is combined with the sharpness and suddenness of the details. There are six weights from light to extra bold, with a variety of alternative signs, additional ligatures and initial and final forms with swashes. Lowercase letters repeat the uppercase pattern. The font is intended for short inscriptions and texts and is adapted for use on the screen. Wak was designed by Viktor Fitzner, character set expanded by Alexander Lubovenko. The font was released by ParaType in 2018.

Zeebonk (literally 'Sea Chunk') is Dutch for a sailor - in particular, a large, pickled and brined, seven-seas-been-there-done-that specimen. The font itself brings back memories of the outrageous tattoos those same 'zeebonken' used to have. Zeebonk comes with extensive language support, alternates for the upper case (and some lower case letters as well) and a healthy dose of good old fashioned sea dog humor!

Mysterious is a bit of an unusual font. It looks old fashioned, but it comes with cool stylistic alternates, it could be a didone, but it is not (really), it looks formal, but it is rather scary. Mysterious was more or less based on the titling pages of 17th century atlases and my own twisted imagination. It comes with a whole bunch of ligatures and stylistic alternates, plus extensive language support.

This font has been on my drawing board since the late eighties. It was based on drawings provided to me by an old sign-painter family friend and we used it extensively as a caps-only font in the early 90s on a cellphone ad campaign. It loves to be tight set and stacked and provides real grunt when you need it. Small caps have been added and have been weight and proportion adjusted so as to complement the caps. At Type Associates we believe that a font is not complete until the spacing is optimal. Carmel is another example of quality through extensive experience, testing, adjusting and refining.

The ITC Blair™ typeface is a revival and reimaging of an early 20th century metal typeface of the same name. Even though only available as single weights of extended and condensed proportions, metal fonts of the face were sold well into the 1950s. In 1997, Jim Spiece resurrected the original extended design for digital imaging and, in the process, added two new weights. Almost 20 years later, he collaborated with Monotype type designers to extend the basic family again. The result was a new suite of three condensed designs and italic complements for all the roman weights. The family also benefits from a large set of alternative glyphs and many OpenType® features.

Now here's a font that is named Like Butterflies, but has got nothing to do with butterflies! What? Why? Well, I recently heard the song "Even flow" by Pearl Jam and took a trip down memory lane - back to my early twenties. I remember how the lyrics affected me, and had an impact on how my life changed the years to follow. Maybe the style of the font does not reflect the inner meaning of the song, but it does reflect a look back in time for me - and the change that took place. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the somewhat simple, handmade style of Like Butterflies and the 4 versions that works very well together! Sonovovitch is a unicase display typeface inspired by the Russian Constructivist movement and Soviet Cold War era propaganda. Although a faux Russian font, Sonovovitch has language support for the true Cyrillic alphabet. Originally intended as an exercise in downsizing the typical font’s character set, Sonovovitch quickly expanded in the opposite direction, adding multiple variations for letterforms and utilizing Open Type features allowing for easy substitution of glyphs… creating plenty of variety for letter combinations. Open Type “Titling Alternates” even substitute completely foreign glyphs, never seen before in any language, allowing for totally alien typesetting. The results found in Sonovovitch are packed with bold character and eastern European influenced flair. Ashbury derives its inspiration from 18th century transitional types such as Caslon and Baskerville. It is, however, not a revival but interprets formal aspects in a new and individual fashion. With a flowing outline, it remains warm and pleasant but assertive because of its solid stroke weights. It is very well equipped for a wide range of ambitious applications. CASU aérospatiale is an extruded 3-D font supported by equivalent "flat" styles. CASU aérospatiale is relaxed in character yet smooth in details. The 1929 sheet music for Cole Porter's "You Do Something to Me" (from the musical stage comedy "Fifty Million Frenchmen") has the name of the play hand lettered in a bold sans with an intersecting inline. This design was the inspiration for Suggestion Box JNL. Not quite Art Nouveau, and not yet Art Deco, the typeface is nonetheless timeless in its clean, appealing style.

Centima Pro is an enhance development of Centima – a geometric Sans Serif typeface, released back in 2011. Centima Pro family consists of two sub-families Sans and Serif fonts. Centima Sans – an upgraded version of Centima, with careful refinements to glyph shapes and extension of glyph amounts, which enabled support of Cyrillic languages. A new extended sub-family Centima Serif have been added to the Centima Pro family. This typeface is released in OpenType format with some OpenType features.
