My pet peeve for many years has been with the 'rn' in small texts, especially with my smart phone. I felt that perhaps others may have the same peeve. I decided to try and fix that with Atlantica. As you can see in poster No. 4. "With the combination of 'rn' in small text it tends to appear as 'm'. Therefore it may be read as 's t e m' instead of 's t e r n'. Altalntica has an alternate 'rn'. By invoking the < Contextual-Alternate > feature. Atlantica will replace each 'rn' - or you may individually change them if you desire". Also note the deep cuts to help legibility for smaller texts. This combination apparently does not appear in many words, but when it does it can suggest a different word as in; eastern, stern, tarnish, Tornado, Turn and in some names as well.

Not your average monospaced typeface, Base Mono flourishes with several handsome OT features mostly found exclusively in text fonts. Despite the geometric and techno feel of the initial roman version, the cursive version is heavily influenced by traditional Finnish weaving and folk art! The contradiction is taken further by inclusion of such classical features as small capitals and lower case figures, usually found in slightly more traditional fonts. Base Mono family suits many editorial, corporate identity and logotype tasks. It can even be used for setting text such as captions and headlines.

This font is mainly inspired from the engraved characters of the small book known as “Operina”, or “The method and rules for writing cursive letters or chancery script” from the famous calligrapher Ludovico Vicentino Arrighi, published in Roma in 1522 and signed with simplicity “Ludovico Vicentino”. ITC Bookman font was designed by Edward Benguiat, whose goal was to design a typeface that had a clear resemblance to previous Bookman faces but was different and more versatile. This font was inspired by the old form of the so called "Kurrentschrift" German handwriting, based on late medieval cursive. It is also known as "Alte Deutsche schrift" ("Old German script"). It was taught in German schools until 1941, when Adolf Hitler decided to forbid it. As it is a little hard to read, we are proposing here two versions: the "pure" Kurrentschrift, and an adapted "Easy" one, with simplified difficult characters.

Return Pass JNL is the solid version of Forward Passed JNL and can be used as a standalone font or in combination with Return Pass Fill JNL (the inline version with the main letters stripped away) for a dual color design. A new 100% handmade brush script font family with lots of swashes, alternates and extras.
