A comic book feature entitled “Foe of the Borgias” appeared in 1937’s New Adventure Comics. The hand lettered title was done in a slab serif Art Deco style and is recreated digitally as Classic Comics JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Page Printer JNL was inspired by “Skeleton”, from the William H. Page Wood Type Foundry circa 1848. Its name is a play on both Page’s surname as well as contemporary desktop printers. Page Printer JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

The typeface was designed at the Polygraphmash type design bureau in 1989 by Lyubov Kuznetsova. Based on the typeface Literanutnaya (Latinskaya) of the Berthold typefoundry (St.-Petersburg, 1901), a version of Lateinisch typeface of H. Berthold (Berlin, 1899). For use in text matter.

Iron Heart is a unique hand brush font that suits very well for your modern grunge vintage design. its texture was very interesting. use it for your special design and brilliant project such as Apparel, Web project, youtube content, logo, and many more.

Macquarie Heavy was used for a logo back in the mid nineties and never completed until recently when I decided to revive it. It works very well in all-caps blocky headlines and is surprisingly legible in lowers with plenty of strength.

Cuckoo was first seen in 1988 when I painted it on a record shop's window. Since then this hand lettered font has been there and done that. Cuckoo is strong, classic and informal display font designed to work well on any job.

My Aunt Celia was designed as a quaint, quasi-elegant display face using caps and small caps. The family consists of two fonts: regular and alternate which, between them, provide many special swash characters, tall caps and ligatures for lively, quirky, mixed settings.

Uptown JNL was found amidst the pages of a 1944 edition of the vintage lettering design book entitled "Sixty Alphabets". This lovely Art Deco typeface has slight curvature to the straight lines of the letter forms and a wonderful hand-lettered look.

The 1946 foreign publication entitled "100 Alphabets Publicitaires" ("100 Advertising Alphabets") collects a number of interesting and attractive lettering samples for design inspiration. One such example is Asian-inspired and was re-drawn as the digital type face now named Martial Arts JNL.

Awesome Sauce is a pretty awesome font. Despite its humble origins (it was made using a really cheap brush and ink), Awesome Sauce retains a rebel stylishness. Awesome Sauce comes with all the accents you want and double letter ligatures to boot!

Like spearheads moving in directions, the core idea of creating “Spearion” fonts was originated from concepts of speed, flow and movement. These slab fonts would be great for your next projects such as logos, film and TV credits, marketing materials, and many more!

A set of old die-cut cardboard letters and numbers used by teachers directly on bulletin boards or for tracing was the inspiration for Classroom JNL. In turn, these letters take their cue from typefaces such as Franklin and earlier wood type designs.

Although the Taz family was designed for newspapers, it works equally well in many other contexts. The fonts have been used in glossy magazines, sales catalogues and corporate brochures, for instance. Taz is appreciated for its readability in longer texts at medium sizes.

A vintage French metal marking stencil for Comandon and Company was the inspiration for the 1400th type design from Jeff Levine Fonts. Dijon Stencil JNL is a condensed serif design with thin stroke weights and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

This bold blackletter is rather wide, which enhances its readability. In Victorian job printing it was not unusual to find one line of blackletter in a card or handbill, just for contrast. This one came on the scene sometime in the 1880s.

The 1920s Art Nouveau movement spawned a number of beautiful hand lettered pieces of sheet music from that era. Attractive and narrow, the characters found on the title page of one such piece of music was the inspiration for Easy Money JNL.

"Kamila Arthur" was inspired by clean handwriting with a natural monoline flow. It contains lovely beginning, ending and connecting lowercase heart swashes. It appears to be an excellent tandem for minimalist wedding designs. Please, note that heart glyphs connect only lowercase letters.

Here's a new, softer take on the classic typeface Koralle, released by Schelter und Geisecke in 1913, and as fresh today as it was then. Both versions of this font support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

Signs and Symbols is a collection of general purpose images for a variety of applications like climate and weather, nature, leisure, sports etc. Handy when you need some signs and symbols for your layout. Signs and Symbols was designed for the URW++ FontForum.

The Oregon Dingbat Font was created in 1995. It consists of various pictures including plants, footprints, a skyscraper and various forms of nature. The font has been published in Japan’s HyperLib magazine and used as artwork in a novel by Charlotte Vale Allen.

TheSerif is part of the Thesis superfamily. Although it was conceived to be the perfect secondary font within the Thesis system – for use in headlines, subheads, pull quotes, etc. – TheSerif has also been used successfully as a text font in its own right.

The free form hand lettering from the titles and credits of the 1964 French film comedy “Le Gendarme de Saint-Tropez” [“The Policeman from Saint-Tropez”] was the basis for Off Duty JNL – which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Okay Marker is a natural hand-printed font, designed to appear as if it was written by wide marker. A clean legible style yet friendly & fun. Okay Marker features extended characters, containing West European diacritics & ligatures, making it suitable for international environments & publications.

Neon Extra Condensed was designed by Giulio da Milano and released in 1935. This all-capital typeface is similar to designs released in the early 1990s. The Neon Extra Condensed font is good as a headline face for magazines and book covers.

Designed at American Type Founders in 1930-33 by Morris F. Benton. An all-capital sans serif featuring squared-off letters with rounded corners. For use in advertising and display typography. Cyrillic version was created at ParaType by Tagir Safayev in 1997.

Natural Blues is my laid back handwriting font, and it is also the name of a song by Moby. Maybe I was inspired by that song … I can’t tell. But what I can tell is that having the blues is a natural thing!

Arrus was designed at Bitstream by Richard Lipton and first released in 1991. Arrus is based on Lipton’s own hand-lettered calligraphic alphabets that draw their influence from classic inscriptional forms. Arrus has small cap and extension typographer sets available as well.

Dausby is the elegantly slanted handwriting of the 1850s. It was based on records written with a flexible tip dip pen and jet black ink by Mr. Dausby. Made for those of you who are just looking for an affordable handwriting font.

Maisonneuve is named after the fracture I had in 2019. During the period of revalidation this font was born passed on circles and rectangles. A modern – almost modular – font with old school figures and lots of symbols and good readability and legibility.

A hand lettered, dual line sans serif type style was used for the title of “Filmland” – a 1931 movie fan magazine from India. This inspired both the digital typeface’s design and name. Filmland JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

An instructional page from a vintage lettering book displayed online showed the construction of an Art Deco sans design with varying widths and stylized character shapes. This was the basis for Eccentric Sans JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Sunny South JNL is a cheerful, simple sans lettering design with rounded terminals. Stripping away the drop shadow of the limited character set Shadowland JNL (which was originally inspired by examples of wood type), Sunny South JNL now offers a complete character set.

Slightly erratic straight up brush tip handwriting script that was written with an ‘intoxicated’ hand, with a lot of very unique characters as a result. The overall font looks wild yet very readable. It includes all eastern European, Baltic, Scandinavian and Turkish characters.

Science Fair JNL emulates the effect of connecting the broken lines of a stencil alphabet into a solid letter form, such as many students did for posters on their science project. In this case, the base font was Jeff Levine's Paramilitary JNL.

Contra Flare is the organic design of my Contra family of fonts. It has beautiful curved endings – not serifs – that make it look like it was made out of flowers leafs. But still the font has an elegant look to it. Enjoy!
