Rabenau (formerly Lucinde), the distinctly warm and legible type family For 30 years the graphic designer Axel Bertram worked at creating his typefaces: He developed complete new alphabets for magazines and typewriters as well as for the constant demand for typefaces for use by commercial artists. He has developed wall charts the size of advertising posters as teaching aids for training commercial and graphic artists to write in a clean, classic cursive script. In the eighties he used the American Chyron computer to design a screen font for television. In the mid-nineties he discovered for himself the fabulous possibilities offered by the Fontographer font software program and explored them playfully. From the results of these experiments, Axel Bertram selected a design for further development. From 2003 onwards the calligrapher and type designer Andreas Frohloff collaborated with him on the further development and production of the 16 fonts of the Rabenau™ typeface family.The Rabenau font was inspired by many factors: From the fonts used as book covers to typewriter fonts and even printed material from England dating from the beginning of the nineteenth century (e.g. those used by the skilled printer William Bulmer), Rabenau's relatively high contrast is offset by some organic tapers, subtley rounded bracketed serifs, and a fairly generous x-height. This makes for a typeface that looks especially good in print. Its broad repertoire of weights and styles - Condensed, Poster, and Shadow - give it added versatility, and make it ideal for setting both display and text in the same typeface. Throughout the heavier weights, the contrast is maintained. The Poster Italic sparkles, and will make a fine display type for dynamic headlines, or logotypes. This family of sixteen fonts works beautifully together. All Rabenau font styles have a large set of ligatures and thus cover typical letter combinations in many European languages. Besides the standard ligatures for ff, fi and fl, letter connections are also available for tt, th and fj or ffi, ffl and ffk. Atze, a handwriting script font, was designed by Ralph M. Unger for the profonts Library. Inspired by frowned-upon Comic Sans, Atze is much more pleasing, much milder and more natural. This is a headline typeface for titles with a retro sensibility. The concave first projection of the vowel and the dot shape further add to the retro feel. It is characterized by the dot shape seen in the initial consonants and the thin ending strokes of 'ㄱ', 'ㅅ', and 'ㅈ' to create a flowing curve. Coliseum Pro is a five-weight compressed spur serif font family. ITF’s original Coliseum family, released in 1992, was designed by Julie Hopwood and Pat Hickson. Steve Jackaman completely redesigned, redrew, and improved the Coliseum family over a two-year period, and two additional lighter weights have emerged: Light and Book. Coliseum Pro is inspired by Roman display typefaces, and is powerful and eye-catching at any size. Two sister typefaces, Clydesdale and Torpedo, were born from Coliseum’s redesign.

The letterforms for this unique face were found on a luggage tag designed by the Richter Studio of Milan in the 1930s; the treatment was suggested by a recent Dutch ad for the opening of a service garage. The meeting of the twain results in a three-dimensional delight. Various transitional elements can be found in the ASCII tilde, {brace}, dagger and double-dagger positions. Both versions of the font contain characters to support all major European languages.

Sultan-Mabsut, designed by Sultan Maqtari in 2018, is an Arabic typeface in the style of Maghribi (Moroccan Mabsut). This style, which originated in western North Africa, is characterized by a strong baseline and long, fluid, and curvaceous curves. Stylistically, Vector accurately reflects it's name, exuding a uniform sense of flatness and rectangular geometry defined by it's retro-modernist origins.

It differs from the previous version with the higher accents over glyphs, enlarged punctuation, old-style numerals and the newly added varieties Semi Bold, Bold, Extra Bold and Black. Red Thinker is a sans serif typeface that includes Small Caps, is of square proportion and fuses soft curves in the outer vertices with straight lines inside the characters, a semi-stencil design that gives it a technological aspect and future fiction. Red Thinker is the heir by right of the geometrical fonts of the early twentieth century inspired by the Bauhaus school and is specially designed for use in any size for both screen and printing.

This font was inspired by one of Antoine Augereau's three roman typefaces: the Gros Romain (±16 Pts) size, used in 1533 to print Le miroir de l'âme..., a religious poetic compilation by Marguerite de Navarre, sister of the French king François the first. It seems possible that Augereau may have also engraved italic styles. This alphabet, with its complete small caps collection, is covering all West, East and Central European languages (including Baltic and Celtic) and Turkish.

After my previous typefaces inspired by the flavour of local typography (Massimo, Picadilly & Zigfrid), I'd like to present new one, called CUKIER. This family was designed mainly for branding purposes - visual identity of CUKIER.WORKS Agency. Cukier is a sans serif, geometric typeface, inspired by the vernacular typography from Zanzibar (Tanzania). A lot of letters have intentionally made mistakes in a drawing, and this it what makes the whole font unusual. Family consist 10 styles – 5 weights with italics.

Blackminster is a Gothic font, inspired by a handwritten set of letters (designed by Harry Lawrence Gage) I found in a 1916 book about lettering. I only had the ABC/abc to work with, so I designed the remaining glyphs myself. Use Blackminster for your Metal album covers, skateboards and downhill mountain bikes, or just anything that requires a bit of a Gothic look! Comes with a serious amount of diacritics and an alternate, swashy, g and y.

The font Wappenstein was inspired by the carving on a memorial stone located in Paderborn, Germany. The stone was an Epitaph of the Brenkener family, and the carver is known as the “Meister des Brenkener Familienepitaphs”. The carving, dating to 1562, currently is curated by the Erzbischöfliches Diözesanmuseum in the city of Paderborn and was originally in the Brenkener Pfarr Kirche. A Wappenstein is a stone that contains a carving of the heraldic achievement of a person.

Turer is a display font with a strong artistic personality. It is inspired by some works of Rudolph Koch (1876 - 1934) such as Wallau, Original Neuland or Koch Antiqua. It is characterised by its vertical strokes that thicken towards the ends, which hints at a serif without actually having it. Turer is composed of capitals; the lower case being small caps. It also has a great set of ligatures. Presented in two weight: Regular and Bold.

Mellnik is a sans serif of humanist style (in a way) that was developed by Oleg Karpinsky for ParaType in 2006. The type family contains nine styles with a number of alternate characters in each ones. For use as a text font in long text passages of advertising booklets, catalogues or magazines, as well as for accident setting. Mellnik may be also applied as a corporate typeface. Five condensed styles were added in 2007 by the same designer.

This typeface was originally designed in 1930 by W.A. Dwiggins as the cover for the book American Alphabets by Paul Hollister. Only the 26 letters of the alphabet were included on the cover, so the rest of the numbers, punctuation, symbols, and accented characters have been crafted in a matching style. This strongly geometric Art Deco lettering style has been lovingly revived and is now available as an OpenType font. Over 3,300 kerning pairs are included.
