Hello Christmas is the christmas-themed version of Zetafonts' Hello Script family including a set of Icons (designed by Cristiana Pezzatini), both featuring multilayer color fill. An high contrast calligraphic script designed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini, featuring monoline swashes and terminals and strong, round body shapes designed with a parallel nib. Hand Draft is hand crafted to emulate both the early printer’s serif font and/or a hand-drawn version of an early Serif font, using either a felt or round nibbed pen. Carefully designed to recreate a sturdy Sans Serif font with just the right amount of artistic imperfection, in three styles: outlined, hatched, and solid. Modula was the first high resolution headline face that Zuzana Licko designed with the Macintosh computer. In 1985, the computer was very crude as far as being able to produce subtle curves, but it was outstanding at producing perfect geometric elements. To meet the burgeoning demands of commerce, type founders in 1830s London introduced a plethora of new fonts which abandoned the traditional nib-informed model. You may think cartoon or kids product, when you take a look at Breaze - and you may be right…but I did have retro grafitti in mind, when I drew the letters. Well, actually I may have mixed both cartoon and grafitti! Anyway, it’s a playful font and is suitable for many things!

Roughcast is a kind of outside plaster, composed of cement and pebbles. It’s not the best looking plaster and it is estimated that in the UK, a roughcast outer reduces the value of a house by 5%. I am in the middle of renovating our old farm, but I won’t cover it in roughcast! Roughcast font is actually quite an attractive brush font. I made it with a brush I found hiding underneath my stove (where it had been for a while). I cleaned it and used it to make a couple of fonts, including Roughcast. Roughcast is best used for packaging, book covers and posters.

The last couple of years felt like I was living in a bad dream: I witnessed crazy leaders, climate change and now Covid. I usually name my fonts after things that affect me and this one is not different. Dreamworld is a font I made with a cheap marker pen I liberated from my kids’ pencil box (I will put it back, pinky promise…). It is a bit rough, but also very easy to read and distinctive enough to make your work stand out.
