  6. Futuramano by Wiescher Design, $39.50
Futuramano was the kind of typeface we scribbled in those old days, when I was an art-director in advertising agencies. We used it to simulate the headlines and the subheads, so the client could read what the copywriters had in mind. As Futura was the font of choice in those days (as it still is), our scribbled typeface looked much like Futura. The second half of the name “mano” means hand, so that is what it is, kind of a handwritten Futura. Futuramano is very practical if you want to have that unfinished touch! Yours very nostalgic Gert Wiescher
  7. Compton by Greater Albion Typefounders, $10.00
Compton is a clean modern slab serif face that emphasises simplicity of line and legibility. It's offered in three weights: regular, bold and light. Compton brings the spirit of the 60s and 70s to the present day. It is ideal for clear, simple graphic design that makes an immediate impact.
  8. Performing Arts JNL by Jeff Levine, $29.00
The sheet music for "I Used to be Color Blind" (from the 1938 Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers movie "Carefree") had its title crafted in ornate Art Deco hand lettering. Keeping the original letter forms, the interior embellishment was simplified to a dot-and-line pattern [eliminating a secondary squiggly line] for a cleaner look. The type design is now digitally available as Performing Arts JNL, in both regular and oblique versions. For those who prefer no ornamentation, there are also regular and oblique versions in solid form.
  9. Baseball Dynasty by Breauhare, $19.99
Baseball Dynasty™ is an all-caps Art Nouveau font with authentic, classy, turn-of-the-century styling that recalls the early days of baseball. It can be used for historical purposes such as documentaries, but it also lends itself to nostalgic marketing & packaging with its down home, good-old-days kind of vibe. Let Baseball Dynasty™ help you knock your project out of the park! Digitized by John Bomparte. **Breauhare’s Elephant Party™ font also appears in the “Granny’s” poster
  10. Killer Ants by Cool Fonts, $24.00
There are two versions of Killer Ants, regular and bold. Regular is a very cool cracked up looking font that will be great for all kinds of stuff. Bold is on of the most distressed fonts I've ever seen - there's crap everywhere - adjust your leading (line spacing) so the grunge overlaps and you have one awesome effect. Yes, those dots are actually smashed ants. Killer!
