Once I ate a knuckle sandwich after saying some things about some guy's pregnant girlfriend. It turns out she wasn't pregnant at all. I felt like a real knucklehead. So I made this font. Use the font where ever you like. Just be sure you know what you are talking about, or you too could end up with knuckles flying at your head.

Burobu, in case you’d like to know, means ‘blob’ in Japanese. I thought it was quite an appropriate name for this blob-like font! Burobu is a messy font and comes with a generous helping of jittery, jumping glyphs, exaggerated strokes and over-the-top arms, ties, bars and counters. Comes with an ultra-cute blob dingbat font and copious amounts of diacritics.

The German designer Karin Huschka created the fonts Linotype Authentic™ (1999), Chineze Dragon™ (2002) and Picture Yourself™ (2003, with Peter Huschka). The text font Linotype Authentic is part of the TakeType Library, chosen from the entries of the 1999 International Digital Type Design Contest.

This font began its life as a project to design a T-shirt for a student group on a large midwestern university. It has now grown up into a unicode font, including Greek and Cyrillic. It has that look and feel of the T-shirts that are ubiquitous on the campuses of colleges and universities over the world. It would make an ideal tool for designing them, as well as posters and banners. Characters in these fonts include Latin, for English and other European languages; small a and c for names like MacDonald; many fractions, including 0/3 needed in baseball; Latin with diacritical marks for Eastern and Western European, Turkish, and Baltic languages; thorn, eth, cedilla, AE, OE, and sharp S for French, German, Icelandic; Latin extensions for clicks of some African languages; Greek (with tonos); Cyrillic for Russian and many other Slavic and Asian languages that use it; most Runes (the full Futhark plus a few more); six-point Brialle; currency symbols for dollar, cent, pound, yen, euro; and a few other extras like the peace sign. Available styles are regular block letters, outlines, and bold.

Matthew Carter has been refining his design for Alisal for so long, he says, that when he was asked to complete the design for the Monotype Library, it was almost as if he were doing a historical revival of his own typeface. The illusion even extended to changes in his work process: although he now does all his preliminary and final drawing on screen, the first trial renderings of Alisal were done as pencil renderings. Alisal is best classified as an Italian old style design. Originally created between the late 15th and mid-16th centuries in northern Italy, the true Italian old styles were some of the first roman types. They tend to be the most calligraphic of serifed faces, with the axis of their curved strokes inclined to the left, as if drawn with a flat-tipped pen or brush. These designs offer sturdy, free-flowing and heavily bracketed serifs, short descenders, and a modest contrast in stroke weight. Alisal has nearly all the classic Italian old style character traits, plus a few quirks of its own. It is calligraphic in nature, with more of a pen-drawn quality than faces like Palatino or Goudy Old Style. It is more rough-hewn than either Goudy's Kennerley or Benton's Cloister, and is generally heavier in weight than most of the other Italian old style designs. One place where Alisal makes a clean break with traditional old style designs is in the serifs. While sturdy and clearly reflecting pen-drawn strokes, Alisal's serifs have no bracketing and appear to be straight strokes crossing the main vertical. Like Caslon or Trajanus, Alisal is a handsome design when viewed as a block of copy. Ascenders are tall and elegant, and serve as a counterpoint to the robust strength of the rest of the design. Alisal is available as a small family of roman and bold with a complementary italic for the basic roman weight, providing all that is needed for the majority of text typography. Alisal is not as well-known as some of Carter's other typefaces, but this lovely and long-incubated design was certainly worth the wait.

Delightful is a whimsical and cheerful handwritten font family of varying weights and widths. This typeface is like if Comic Sans had a cousin who studied abroad one summer and now wears scarves to look more grown up, even though inside she's still the same, sweet marshmallow she always was. The letters were inspired by my handwriting on a good day - slowed down, legible, and intentionally drawn. I even threw in some of my favorite doodles as alt characters because the set wouldn't be complete without them. And the name was inspired purely by how it feels when I see it - and by my word of the year, delight. Delightful is ideal for anyone who wants to include a bit more warmth and a personal touch with their messaging. It's friendly and non-threatening, and will enhance personal projects or professional ones alike - whether you're a designer, an Instagram influencer, or you need to create some flyers for the local Mom 'n Pop Shop. There are two versions of this font. The original style is slightly more rounded and gets chubbier as you increase its boldness, and the stretched style is like a condensed version, except it's been stretched taller rather than squished narrower. Suti is a non-connected sign painters casual script with upper and lower cases. Suti was originally designed in 2010 but it was completely re-drawn in 2016. Edda Glaser’s digitized handwriting is a beautiful script containing many ligatures and alternates. The first lines were drawn in 2012 – however, there are now over 850 glyphs! The elegant and light typeface combines both connected and separate characters, in this way gaining a dynamic flow. The Open Type Features allow you to choose glyph alternates for the beginning and end of words. The inspiration source for Viper Monogram is the 1934 Book of American Types by American Type Founders. Found in that specimen book, was a sophisticated two-color monogram design called Hollywood Combination Initials, which was available in limited size metal castings. This wonderful monogram style is now digitally recreated, revived, and updated for modern use! Viper Monogram supports one and two letter monograms, but due to its super condensed style works best for three letter monograms. The default typing style for Viper Monogram is an all horizontal all caps setup which can be used for headlines and titling. Type in Capitals for an outline effect, lowercase for a solid effect. By enabling OpenType Contextual Alternates, you can type diagonal top-aligned monograms up to three letters. By typing in all lowercase, and layer a copy of the lowercase with Stylistic Alternates enabled, you can create a two-color effect.
