An old rubber stamp printing set called the Aristocrat Sign Marker was the inspiration for this font from Jeff Levine. The letter shapes are truly reminiscent of the 1920s and early 30s with their casual playfulness, hence the font's name of Casual Friday JNL. To add a more nostalgic touch, the characters show slight imperfection of shape, as if hand-lettered.

The lettering style of Show Biz JNL is a classic sanserif with Art Deco influences. Slight variations in some letter shapes set it off from similar releases. To the creation of this font I was inspired by the constellation “Canis Minor”. The constellation consists of two bright stars, Procyon and Gomeisa. Procyon is the eighth brightest star in the sky. Two small points in the font like two stars in constellation. Font is built on round laconic forms. Shall be good for posters, headers and creative typography.

Character Sans is a detail full sans serif typeface in 5 styles. It features all european languages, ligatures, arrows and minuscule numbers. It's characteristic style features are straightened ends and sharp curves. The lighter weights have great white spaces and their width is orientated on the heavier weights. Character Sans was made to have style and not to be uniform.

I'll admit right off the bat here -- I've never been to a party in a barn. I don't even know if they still do barn dances and parties, or if that's something out of the musical Oklahoma! or something. But this font gave me kind of a homey, rustic feel, so the name felt right! Fortuita is a versatile sans fit for text or display. The name carries some of its history as it was born from logo sketches that fortuitously grew into a type family over eight years. It comes with a tall x-height, rendering it readable at smaller sizes. It has sixteen weights, eight regular ones, and their italics, each with small caps, something you may not see very often with sans serifs. It counts with old-style numbers that can switch to its lining, small caps, or tabular versions through open-type features. The family carries a distinct personality in its design that will lend itself to its subject, all the while without becoming distracting or detracting from it.

CHICAGO MOONSHINE is an Art Deco serif All Caps display font. Please note that this is primarily for headlines, logos posters in large size. The character set contains Western and Eastern European latin languages, basic symbols and punctuation. Earlier this year I visited a bakery in Newport Beach, CA and fell in love with the organic design and typography of the place.
