The Vale Press was a contemporary of Willam Morris's Kelmscott Press. The types used by the Vale Press were designed by artist Charles Ricketts, who also supervised the design and printing of Vale Press books. The main type used, Vale, was based on the Jenson 15th century roman type style. The King's Fount was an experimental semi-uncial font based on the Vale type. The King's Fount was designed in 1903 for the Vale edition of the 15h century poem "The Kingis Quair". This semi-uncial font evokes old English and Anglo-Saxon lettering. P22 Vale Pro combines the two fonts P22 Vale Roman and P22 Vale King's Fount into one "Pro" font. This pro font also includes a Central European character set, old style figures, fractions, ornaments and a special faux "Middle English" feature to make "anee text appeer Olde." This feature is not known to exist in any other font.

Caravela is a decorative formal typeface. It was designed, drawn and realized by Mans Greback in 2020. Inspired by 17th century typographic works, this work lifts some of the absolute best elements from the golden age of calligraphic lettering, bringing it to life in a new, modern setting. The concept of Biscotti rised from a personal research into a system of styles that we commonly consider “vintage”. One above all, the Victorian typography that has been rediscovered and widely re-studied during the 70s. Today, thanks to the technology innovation in digital typography fields, Biscotti is certainly an interesting subject which expresses an appassionate and nostalgic homage to a vintage font, seen from the perspective of a technical inspiration. Biscotti is composed of two styles: the “default” and the alternative one. The first is of course more conservative and formal, while the alternative formally chooses a change of the diagonal lines into curves, so it creates a much more friendlier reading. ITC Johann Sparkling is the work of Austrian designer Viktor Solt, a perfect imitation of the handwriting of an educated person of the 18th century. Found in that specimen book, was a sophisticated two-color monogram design called Hollywood Combination Initials, which was available in limited size metal castings. Silverland is a revival of an old type font from the Bruce Type Foundry of New York, the original font from 1874 included uppercase only plus 22 end caps. This 21st. century version has been expanded to include many more decorative end caps plus new lowercase, small caps, italic, italic small caps, swash, swash small caps and gothic version. Approximately six months of painstaking work has gone into making this font family over the last 22 months. The OpenType versions of Silverland include between 230 and 370 kerning pairs each setup as auto ligature replacements, you will need an application such Adobe CS products in order to take advantage of this OpenType feature.

British designer Bob Newman's Horatio family is a delightful look back into the modernists experiments of the 1920s. This geometric sans serif design was created in 1971, and was originally released by Letraset. We are please to offer the family in digital form, in light, medium, and bold weights. Many designers during the 1920s were interested in reforming the alphabet, and wanted to reconcile letterforms with the machine and manufacturing technology of the age. Herbert Bayer at the Bauhaus was one of many designers who developed a universal alphabet," creating letters using only the simplest of geometric forms. Similar experiments in 1920s-style revivals were also created during the 1970s, most notably Herb Lubalin's ITC Avant Garde Gothic."

Last Bastion is a strong, resolute serif typeface. The original inspiration came from the idea of an impenetrable medieval fortress that has stood the test of time and defended generations of hardened soldiers. Large stone towers and fortifications are reflected in the font's bold stems. The sans serif font offers a more modern and clean look, while the Gothic font shows the typeface's darker side.
