The Skywalking font is inspired by sci-fi movies and video games. It purposely avoided the us of curves and preferred the sharp edges to get a more robot aesthetic into it. Designed by Mark Silva, the font is suited for logos, company branding, game titles and shirt designs.

The name Otis arose from an incident in a shopping mall in which, realising my shoelace was undone while on an escalator, I bent down to tie it, became aware of the approaching end, panicked, fell over, and in the process happened to notice the escalator's brand name.

Inspired by calligraphic styles from 15th century Italy, master Swedish typographer Bo Berndal designed the Byngve font family. With four styles-Regular, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic-Byngve proudly shows its process: Berndal wrote out the entire family by hand before digitizing it and converting its beauty into a typeface. Byngve is most suited for advertising uses, and for greeting cards. The name Byngve comes from Bo Berndal's two Christian names: Bo Yngve. He just put the two names together and it formed Byngve"."

When traveling in Paris, American designer Frederic W. Goudy did a rubbing of a second century marble inscription he found in the Louvre. After ruminating on these letterforms for several years, he drew a titling typeface in 1918, all around the letters P, R, and E. He called the new face Hadriano" as that name was in the original inscription. Robert Wiebking cut the matrices, and the Continental Typefounders Association released the font. Goudy designed a lowercase at the request of Monotype in 1930, though he didn't really like the idea of adding lowercase to an inscriptional letterform. The lowercase looks much like some of Goudy's other Roman faces. Compugraphic added more weights in the late 1970s, and made the shapes more cohesive. Hadriano has nicely cupped serifs and sturdy, generous body shapes. Distinctive individual letters include the cap A and Q, and the lowercase e, g, and z. Vegas is the work of British designer David Quay, an excellent choice where a bright, glitzy effect is desired. Like most scripts, the capitals work as initials in conjunction with the lowercase. The lowercase letters should be set very closely or touching to create a true script effect.
