I love riding English double decker buses! I haven’t been on one lately, but for some reason I had an image of a red double decker bus in my head when I made this font. Doubledecker is a bold, cartoon-like, handmade font. It comes in regular and dots, plus a bonus doodle font called Doubledecker Stuff. Use it for any design that needs a tad of loud, a pinch of unusual and a wee bit of polka.

Good Sport JNL has nothing to do with any of the major sports activities such as baseball, football, basketball or soccer. Instead, the typeface gets its name from the sport of camping, as the lettering was spotted on an image of an old ad for the Colonial Forest-Master boy’s pocket knife. Good Sport JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Caffe Lungo is a beautiful set of handmade fonts. Lungo is very legible, very clear, but has that authentic ‘handmade’ look. Caffe Lungo comes in three weights, each with its own Italic style. I also added ligatures for the g_j and j_j letter combinations.

I like fonts that look like scribbled notes… so I made one! Delivery note was made with a sharpie pen on paper. I didn’t ‘clean’ the glyphs too much, as I wanted it to look like a genuine note script. It comes with double letter ligatures for the lower case glyphs and a fun doodle pack!

I’ve never been one for zombies and all that. I did watch a couple of seasons of The Walking Dead, but after the 2.000.000th zombie got whacked, I had enough. When I made this font, it gave me a zombie feeling. One thing I learned from watching TWD was that zombies are always hungry. There you have it!

I must admit that I am not a big fan of the Art Nouveau style. However, I found this particularly beautiful alphabet and decided to use it as the basis for this new font. Endgame font was made using a very, VERY bad brush and Chinese ink. I had bought a bunch of brushes some time ago and I discovered that the hairs had been treated with some goo to keep them from sticking out. The goo didn’t really come off, so when I started to draw the glyphs for this font, the brush strokes were kind of wild. In the end, I really liked it (even though I will never again buy that particular brand of brushes). Endgame is a wild brush font. Comes with the works: diacritics, ligatures and alternates.

One of the type examples found within the pages of “Lettering” by Harry B. Wright (1950) is a bold hand lettered serif typeface with a unique twist – the slab serifs had rounded corners, looking very much like show card lettering of the early 1900s. This design is now available digitally as Maybrook JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

A famous 1971 photo shows boxing champ Muhammad Ali making faces through a window at Joe Frazier at the challenger’s training facility. A small sign sits in the window that says “Joe Frazier Training Headquarters” and is lettered in a simple sans serif condensed typeface. It is a Latin-based Greek font that I developed by taking the typography used in ancient Greek monuments and inscriptions in cities in the Aegean region of Turkey as an example. I am working on the Latin font of this model. Karamanli version is finished, I will upload it soon.

When I started working on this font, I had the radio on. Ed Sheeran was singing his song ‘Castle On The Hill’ and when I looked at this new font of mine, I couldn’t help but notice it had a bit of a medieval look. So I named it Castle On The Hill. COTH is a very lively, messy handpainted serif. It was made with a Japanese brush pen. I actually had a different look in mind, but this is what came out of the pen and I quite liked its looks. It is especially useful for children’s book covers, apps and posters, but be my guest and use it as you like. All it needs is a designers’ touch, a nice tune and a sunset.

Armature Neue Sans is an extension of the original Armature Neue family released in 2010. Like Armature Neue, Armature Neue Sans consists of six weights with accompanying italics. Armature is one result of my interest in typefaces that are constructed, rather than drawn. Although it is basically a monoline design, there are subtle details throughout that compensate for a monoline’s evenness. As with all fontBoy fonts, there are dingbats hidden away in the dark recesses of the keyboard. When I first started designing this face in 1992, I called it Dino - I thought I would name all my fonts after famous pets, so the dingbats for Armature are dinosaurs. There's a little restaurant in an old house on a sidestreet in town (Rockland, Maine, USA) called Cafe Miranda. The staff is friendly, the setting intimate, and the appetizer a basket of hot bread fresh from a brick oven. Its ample menu features such entries as "Quasi-Cassoulet" and "Gentle Sole." It's among my favorite local places to dine out. But the menu got photocopied once too often, and Cindy's personable handlettering got faded and broken. So I took matters into my own hands.
