This font family is based on the letterforms of a fin-de-siècle sans serifs, and comes in two versions - Roman and Shadow.

ITC Atelier Sans began as one of Curtis's renovations. His goal was to create a monoline design with Art Deco “sensibilities,” but without the geometric precision and relatively small x-height of faces like Futura or Kabel. Hand lettering from the title credits for the 1950 film “All about Eve” were the inspiration for Evening Event JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. The font’s name is an (unintended) double-homage to the film’s title, for the first part of both words include “Eve”.
