An Unusual Hero Script Mervale Script Pro is based on inspiration from the 1940's Fawcett Publications “Mary Marvel” comic. This unusual brush lettered script blends script and serif capitals with a mix of unusual brush strokes to create a lively font that draws attention. Clean letterforms with an eclectic offbeat flavor in letter stances lends Mervale Script Pro to a unique variety of uses from casual to lightly sophisticated. Bound to rules, unbound in the usage. Hyper geometric, and minimal contrast. Circulo V1 is based on a font project I originally started because of a client I had. I wanted to create a display and text font for their product design brand, which is all about reducing the amount of necessary materials and production steps. Before I started the course at tipo-g it was called -“REDUCE“ and was more or less finished. The concept was based on the name. How far can letter shapes be reduced to their core geometric concepts and still be identified as letters? But in a way, it lacked a unique approach and was just a generic geometric Sans Serif with a lack of finesse. There was already a glimpse of characteristics visible which would later define Circulo V1. ‍ The high focus on geometric shapes was not of the same severity, and the angle on the stems was less intense. Those, as I call them, fake serifs turned out to be a significant factor in legibility and the characteristic of the font. Besides those changes and improvements, I decided to implicate a new feature to the concept, a condensed style. I quickly realised that it is impossible to keep my perfect circles and half-circles in this style without breaking my rules for the font. This „problem“ turned out to be the most crucial feature of the condensed set. Circular-based Letters will ignore the rules and boundaries of the condensed style and stay as they are. This feature allows the user to create a unique rhythm in their texts, and if you use the variable font, you can decide how intense this rhythm will be. In this situation, the user can choose which letters are allowed to keep their shapes and which will be put in their condensed corset. All, some or none of them, you decide.

Is it a Bird? Is it a Plane? Is it a Rocket? No it’s another Super Font from those awfully nice chaps at Comicraft. Faster than a speeding Option 8, Up, Up and Away can see through 'O’s, jump Capital T in a single bound, and rescue caps dropped from the tallest descenders. This font was inspired by an old photographic film package I found. Over time, the vertical slits in the letters have become more complex and acquired slanted sections. The font is suitable for accidences: headlines, posters... maybe you can suggest something interesting ;)

Touch Tone introduces a condensed lowercase and oblique italics to the uppercase font inspired by the "Dr. Strangelove" movie titles – designed by Pablo Ferro. Touch Tone's naive hand-drawn strokes rely on a quirky variable width-brush. They are looser, more textured, tactile, more informal, with quirky nervous lines. A family of four fonts: it includes two weights, light and medium, and both with roman and italics. All the fonts include the same patterns and ornaments. However, many of the “medium” font weight ornaments are beefed up to visually match. Touch Tone utilizes OpenType features. It imitates handcrafted lettering by including 2 glyphs for each U&lc letter (4 sets) – all kerned with care. This medley avoids a repetitious appearance so each sentence looks original and hand-drawn. The uppercase includes two widths – extra condensed and extended. Tambau is a display typeface crafted by Matheus “Fio” Gonçalves, a Brazilian design student, still in college, inspired by Brazilian concert urban posters and wood type that I saw at the Oficina Tipográfica São Paulo. The font was first made for a magazine project in design school, making it beautiful on giant pages headlines, billboards, signs, etc. There’s no lowercase, the character set is dramatic and objective. The uppercase is actually expanded letterforms causing some eyes and breathing paths to the very condensed and very modular glyphs, which creates a quite interesting striped texture between form, counterform and spacing. The lots of ligatures come to give it more closure between the letters, when they try to form blank spaces. So do the diacritics, fitting in the space given to them by the dynamic letterforms, making dense rectangular blocks. You may use Tambau as big as you can or do a high tracking to it and still it will be pretty. The titles can be dynamic, just condensed or just large. It’s on your own. Don’t be afraid to play with Tambau, it’s an alive typography. Curiosity: For the magazine in design school, the pilot project of Tambau was cut in a MDF board, to print it with texture and paint. Later was added more characters, languages and special glyphs to it. Set: Tambau is a singular font typeface, with extended and condensed characters, numbers, ligatures, punctuation and symbols for Basic, Western, Central and South Eastern Latin languages.

Core Gothic E is a simple and modern sans-serif Korean font consists of 9 weights (Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold, ExtraBold, Heavy & Black). Character set is consist of Korean 11,172 characters, Hirakana & Katakana, Latin and Korean symbols. It is well balenced between Korean and Latin characters. Latin typeface (Core Sans E) was adjusted to be matched with korean typeface. Spaces between individual letter forms are adjusted in detail so that it makes perfect typesetting. Supported codepages are MS Windows 1252 Latin1 and MS Windows 949 Korean. We recommend to use for books, web, screen displays and so on.

For some reason I had Paul Simon’s song ‘You Can Call Me All’ in my head when I was busy working on this font, so I just had to call it Bonedigger. Bonedigger does not dig bones, but it does have ‘heavy bones’, as it is quite big. Bonedigger is seriously eroded and would look great on book covers and product packaging. It comes in a lovely regular and italic style and a seriously twisted inline style (with, of course, its own italic). As the song goes: With a knick-knack paddywhack, give the dog a bone, this old font came rolling home.

Ryo is a Japanese kana typeface design composed of hiragana, katakana and some punctuation marks. Available in five weights--medium, semibold, bold, extra bold and heavy, Ryo Display has been specifically designed for use when setting copy in larger sizes, such as in headlines or posters. Supplied in the cross-platform OpenType format, this special kana font can be used to supplement or replace the existing kana designs in existing Japanese fonts that contain full character sets. Creative professionals using the Japanese version of Adobe InDesign may use that program's Composite Font tool to easily combine Ryo Display with other typefaces.

A different kind of beauty. Silex began life in the labs of R.U.S.S.T Institute a number of years ago, starting with a skeleton of C.A.D./C.A.M system fonts, a disused tungsten carbide blade off an old milling machine for a soul and a little box of OpenType features for brains. This family of 3 solid, Silex is a hard-edged, hard-working display fonts. Suitable for headlines, logos, heavy equipment and... If you are a wrestler or mixed martial arts fighter, your resume. OpenType features include stylistic alternates, discretionarily ligatures, case sensitive glyphs, small caps, dozens of standard and discretionary ligatures.

Kevlar was initially inspired by an obscure logo discovered in a 1960s radio-fan magazine. Of immediate interest was that the upper half of the typeface appeared to be a sans while the lower half appeared as a curious blend of a slab serif imbued with a script-like quality. First came Kevlar Bold in 2003, closely followed by its text weight companion Kevlar Regular. The original source of the inspiration as then revisited to develop the third in the set, Kevlar Slab, a truly individual mix of script-like fluency with the heavy weight base of a slab serif.

First Prize typeface has simple shapes. It is a narrow, heavy sans serif typeface with geometrical logic and quite predictable constructions of characters. The idea behind it was to combine constructed structure of the skeleton and some calligraphic ideas, swashes and cursiveness. At the moment First Prize typeface consists of three narrow styles: bold, upright italic and italic. Cursive weights have beautiful ending swashes and initials. There are few alternative shapes for A&N. As a Display typeface First Prize will work very well with any other typefaces for the good of any project in print or online.

Paestum is a Latin typeface inspired by Greek inscriptions of the 6th and 5th centuries B.C. Its name comes, suitably, from the Latin name for Poseidonia, a former Greek city south of Naples whose two remaining Doric temples have been on antiquities tours since at least the 1700s. Others have scanned this terrain before, of course, but earlier designs failed to supply a lower case. Although Paestum includes complete upper- and lowercase alphabets, diacritics, numerals, and essential punctuation, it does not have many unhistorical glyphs -- such as currency symbols and the @ sign. Paestum comes with three weights: light, medium, and heavy.

Taberna is a type system that provides a wide range of choices for any design project. The typeface comes in Sans and Serif layered versions plus a monolinear Script font. Taberna is the result of having explored design trends in bar signage, liquor packaging and street wear. Taberna is a funny display font with a Sans version—that provides a more clean and simple design—and a Serif one, which gives text a more distinctive and sombre personality. Mohr is a neutral, versatile and contemporary font based on some characteristics found in geometric sans-serif typefaces. Mohr’s features, together with its design characteristics, make it suitable for a wide range of applications, from display use to small text. The Mohr family comes in three versions: normal, alt and italic, each with 9 font weights, from Thin to Heavy, resulting in a total of 27 fonts. Mohr also includes initial and terminal swashes in most of the uppercase and lowercase characters. This gives the font a unique personality and provides a greater range of uses such as branding and packaging.
