Our font of the original was only ten point, so we had to use our imagination to a great extent. As specialists in Victorian typography, we have found that many people do not like the "center alignment" idea, used on several old time faces, but we have been faithful to the original. So there!

Bupkis literally means ‘goat’s dropping’ in Yiddish, but it is used to say ‘nothing, zero, zilch’. Bupkis is a very nice handmade font. A little formal, a little uneven, a little unusual. Use for it whatever you like, but product packaging, cards and book covers do come to mind. Comes with a lot of diacritics.

Germania is a Sans font based on classic roman proportions and forms based on my Imperia font. But I added that distinct, rigid, no-nonsense German touch. This monoline font with its classic proportions and personality is good for lots of occasions. And – I designed three »real« italic typefaces – not just slanting the straight ones. Accolades C and C2 share the same main ornaments but differ in finishing. Accolades C uses pearls and diamonds, C2 does not. Accolades CX is an additional fitting set of borders. All fonts are available in two variations. A clean one and a distressed, grungy version (old). The layout samples from the PDF-specimen are included in the font packages and stored in InDesign CS3 format. Mostly all of the featured fonts of the specimen are available on MyFonts, too. Supernational is an experimental typeface in two styes, lines or lines and dots.

Rome Ionic is a serif display font inspired by architectural features in ancient Roman building columns. The Ionic columns are taller and slender compared to 'Doric and Corinthian' columns. On the Ionic Capitol column, there is a geometric spiral like a paper roll. We used those elements in this roman style font. The base of this font is serif shaped, more slender and towering, and equipped with 8-18 stylistic set alternates. This is the development of the basic shape on which we added spiral ornaments to the left and right. This serif font's characteristic is soft and simple, not sharp and complicated like Doric and Corinthian. The composition of the softness of the basic and alternate fonts does not reduce the splendor of this font. We complemented this font with support for the Latin extend as an analogy to the Roman region. Rome Ionic is perfect for 'impressive luxury and power' designs. With this font, your branding will show the robustness and refute the splendor of other products.

Designed by Alfonso García and Latinotype Team. Rawson is inspired by early humanist sans-serif English typefaces. We have added a bit of Johnston, a bit of Gill and a lot of Latinotype to the font. Rawson is an elegant font—but definitely not a black tie one—with the strength of a geometric sans but as friendly as a humanist typeface. This mixture, though not capricious, gives the font a ‘classic’ personality and a modern look at the same time. Rawson is a typeface with a large x-height, open counterforms and classical ductus. Who doesn't want or need an expansive contemporary extended sans that has a sense of style and swagger… what if it had a lowercase, small caps and various numeral options… how could you say no? This was the foundational argument I made for myself when I drew the initial alphabet on my birthday last year (something I do each year, draw a new font, kind of a fun OCD thing). I wanted to see a wide, utilitarian sans that had more to it than just a basic character set and didn't resemble standard geometric models. As I continued sketching, the letterforms were being influenced more by my 'lettering tendencies' than the normal mechanical trappings of drawing flat, wide letters. The letters have retained aspects of letters created by hand — stresses, modulation, naturally ending terminals. Truncation and quick clipping of strokes became antithetical to the letterforms I drew, so I continued this once I brought the design into the computer. I kept it precise and dependable, but made every attempt to keep a conscientiously crafted typeface and not let it devolve into a grid-based drone. As such, it works just as well looking back in time as much as it does assuming a lead role in a sci-fi movie. Halogen does deliver and opts not to take a short cut and provide an anemic offering of glyphs — a modern typeface offered today must provide more than just the basics and this one does — lowercase, smallcaps, old style numerals, tabular forms, stylistic and titling alternates, fractions, case-sensitive features, and even an alternate uppercase ordinal set is included. So go make cool print and digital things with it, now.

Really, there is nothing stupid about this font. In some strange and weird way, I just thought that the name sounded like something eye-catching - in the same way that the font is eye-catching! It may look like your average comic font, but it's not! I carefully put a lot of funk, twist, comic and a spoonful of pizzadude into each and every letter. The result is a bouncy crazy looking comic font. Oh, I almost forgot - I topped the letters with a spoonful of grafitti mixed with the sounds of a party...that's the recipe for this lovely multilingual font! :)

When designing AM Sans One, it was a great challenge for me to develop a modern sans serif, which despite the large number of existing fonts in this sector has its own unique character. Starting point for the design concept was the cap O, designed as a rectangle with rounded corners, and not as usual as a circle or oval. The O should form the basis for the whole alphabet. Another feature are the characters with oblique starting and end strokes such as "A, V, W". These have not exactly straight, diagonal lines, but have a slight curvature. Thus, these letters do not look too geometric. Also the cap K deviates slightly from the usual shape which makes AM Sans One different from other already existing fonts. I could well imagine applying this font for areas such as engineering or architecture.

This curly, swirly antique offering is based on a Victorian-era typeface called "Fillet". Axelby JNL was modeled from a set of die-cut, self-adhesive cardboard letters from the 1960s. The design is reminiscent of some early wood type in the way it has letters of varying widths that do not conform to any set standard. Tequila… I have to admit that I am not a drinker. I do like Tequila, though, even though I can’t remember when I last had a shot. Tequileria is a very recognisable inline display style font. It would look great on posters and book covers, packaging and even bottles (with or without tequila). Comes with an abundance of diacritics.

Capsa is a typeface designed for use in books. Although inspired by Gros Romain Ordinaire and Saint Augustin Gros Oeil from the Type Specimens of Claude Lamesle, this typeface does not intend to be a revival or an interpretation. The Vignettes and Patterns provide a very classic yet contemporary look to the design.

Almost a straightened italic typeface, August explores the idea of taking italic and script letterforms out of context and creating a typeface with a mix of references that does not look like too soft and feminine, but has a sharpness and angularity in some of its characters that jars against this softness.

Pacific Script is a font inspired by an alphabet created by Howard Trafton in the 1930s. However, I felt it needed some changes to bring it to the cutting edge of 21st century font design. Though designed as a display font, it works very successfully in longer passages of text, however, it should not be used in font sizes less than about 15 point. Small x height in contrast to extravagant caps gives the font a very dramatic feel. Though it has cursive qualities, the characters in this font do not connect, making it slightly more legible and less like handwriting. The inclusion of 26 alternate upper case characters give the user the freedom to create a hand crafted design. Language support includes all European character sets.

Groovy started out as a prospective variant in the ‘Flashback’ series but very quickly established its own distinct appearance, especially with the lower case letters blending into the format so well. There wasn't any preconceived idea to design a retro looking font in principle, it simply evolved that way, but I do think it has several characteristics reminiscent of style genres from the '70s. It’s probably quite subliminal and like me, you may find yourself thinking, what does that remind me of? The double-entendre'd title is quite apt too, not merely for reasons of its outwardly retro appearance but also because of the considered, rounded elements forming the negative spaces throughout. The font also has something of a chameleon-like personality, being both adaptable and capable of having a trendy / fun appearance, or alternatively something solid and stylish, depending on the use, as demonstrated in the banner examples here.

A concertina is a kind of musical instrument, not unlike an accordeon. I just liked the name; I have to admit I’m not a particular fan of accordeon music… Concertina is a beautiful handmade script font. A little rough, but elegant as well. It was made with a small Japanese brush pen on coarse paper. Concertina comes with double letter ligatures and end-letter alternates. To access the end-letter alternates, type the letter you want + space (and make sure to tick the ‘ligatures’ box in your OT environment).

Polke is a single weight display face brimming with style and charm but simultaneously exuding impressive core strength and a vibrant personality. Floating ball terminals rub shoulders with contrasting sharp and rounded letterforms to produce a distinctively decorative headline font built on robust foundations. Polke's name is derived from the striking terminal dots which dominate the character set, creating a Polka-Dot effect throughout. I also had the artist Sigmar Polke in mind which explains the spelling, and so the two ideas simply morphed together.

Bringtong is a brush script inspired by Hot Rod lettering and sign painting. Bringtong is a very versatile script: it includes end swashes, swash caps, small caps, lots of alternate characters and underline option. It has over 362 glyphs. Bringtong is bouncy and smooth and has a very organic feel. You have a lot of options to customize it and that makes it perfect for logos, packages and titles.
