Sonetto is a typeface designed for the making of poetry books comprised of two styles: Regular, for setting prose, and Italic for verses. It is the result of a typographical exploration carried out at the UBA Type Design Master’s which sought to relate italics and cursive italics. Initial drawings were based on Griffo’s italics and early 16th century italian manuscripts that showcased connections between letters. Sonetto is in fact a historical revival, not of a particular style, but rather of a broader concept.

This font was specifically created for my husband. He teaches 5th grade and wanted a font that was legible enough for students to read but still playful enough to add a touch of whimsy to his classroom. Legible enough for body text but fun enough for titles.

Calamity Wayne is a reverse-contrast slab serif, inspired by the ‘wild west’ French Clarendons (aka Italians or Egyptians) of the late-1800s. Despite the idiosyncrasies that make it ideal for display and headline uses, it is also surprisingly legible in text settings. Calamity Wayne supports Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, and is available in OTF and TTF formats. The appeal of Calisto as a text face lies in its very even color on the page, while its robust construction means that it can work equally well at display sizes. The slightly calligraphic treatment of letter shapes and the classical proportions give Calisto a clean elegance on the page. The Calisto font is a graceful and interesting addition to the typographer's repertoire and will prove particularly useful for book, magazine and advertising work.

Narin Font Family is a geometric sans design with rounded corners which seems much softer and eye-pleasing even though it still has geometric and straight borders. The family comes in six weights with regular and italic forms. Narin Font Family is legible from very small size to very large ones. It is suitable for letterpress and also long texts. With the small caps, all fonts can be used to create great and gorgeous works like logos, texts, presentations, t-shirts etc. and can be used to create the pressworks such as posters, magazines and books. The word "Narin" means "graceful" in Turkish.

Terminal Guise is a display typeface with detached or uncompleted forms to create a graceful and stylistic termination.

Hal Taylor's ITC Outpost was not the result of a detailed design brief, nor was there a methodical development of key concepts or characters. Outpost just seemed to emerge all at once during a brief sketching session," says Taylor. Haettenschweiler™ is a very condensed, very bold alphabet. Haettenschweiler was derived from a more condensed typeface, called Schmalfette Grotesk, first shown in the early 1960s in a splendid book called Lettera by Walter Haettenschweiler and Armin Haab. Haettenschweiler became popularized by the Paris Match magazine. Use this distinguished face in large sizes for headlines. Tita is dedicated to my grandmother Hebe, witty and arrabalera 1. The font is inspired by Milonga 2 music and the fileteado porteño 3. I picture it at The Moulin Rouge, sparkling, provocative, loving. It evokes Tita Merello and my grandmum singing her music. Tita is Argentinean to its very core. A font to shout goal and dulce de leche 4 with passion! Its curves originate from polirhythmic calligraphy, which I learnt from my mentor Silvia Cordero Vega. The Griffith Initials font was inspired by a set of highly stylized capital letters from the remarkable hand of one of Americas foremost penmen, dating back to 1927. Sardines is a project by Jacques Le Bailly aka Baron von Fonthausen. This original version is the one that saw the light as a monospaced font student project and which would eventually grow into Vette Letters’ largest font family (see VLNL Neue Sardines). Sardines is an eclectic mash of classic curves and mathematical measurements, leaving a very distinct typographic flavor. While most of our type is market-fresh, this one comes out of the can, but it’s delicious nonetheless. And it’s great for adventurous BBQ-ing!

LisaBeth Weber's eponymous typeface ITC Weber Hand is deceptively simple-looking. It's a handwriting face in a light, monolineal style with a slightly formal, almost angular appearance. Weber, who is an accomplished singer/songwriter as well as an artist and lettering artist, says she has always had an inherent sensibility with lettering." Her favorite subject in the first grade was penmanship, and when, as an adult, she got her first checkbook, "I thought it was very unfair that the signature always had to be consistently the same." She describes Weber Hand as "a natural progression of my handwriting style, a friendly and versatile font." Its letterfit is naturally loose, and it shows its character best when set with ample leading. In 1999, when LisaBeth Weber's ITC Weber Hand™ typeface was released, it soon became one of ITC's most popular handwriting fonts. A decade later she decided that is was time to update her single-weight design. A light weight would benefit from a bold companion, in addition to condensed variations for much greater versatility. This is a family of "Gothic" types from the Monotype Design Studio. The faces named "Gothic No. 1 through 4" were produced by Compugraphic. Gothic No. 1 is a condensed, late 19th century American-style sans serif typeface. Gothic No. 2 and Gothic No. 3 are based on the Metro #2 series, designed by W.A. Dwiggins for Mergenthaler Linotype during the 1920s and 30s. Gothic No. 4 looks vaguely like Gothic number one, but is heavier and smaller on the body. Gothic Extra Light Extended is a very light and wide design.

Poetica font was designed by Robert Slimbach in 1992 with particularly generous characters. The typeface family consists of 21 weights to allow for an unusual variety of design possibilities within one typeface family. Numerous swash letters, ornaments and ligatures remind one of the early Renaissance and its unforgettable masters, for example, Giambattista Palatino, who later gave his name to Hermann Zapf's creation. Slimbach used the Lettera Cancellaresca as a model for his typeface, the cultivated humanistic italic which later served as a point of departure for the development of italics of the Renaissance and thereafter. Lettera Cancellaresca is very legible, extremely harmonic and impressively beautiful. The early forms display two different compositional tendencies, namely the static of the simple vertical capitals and the italic dynamic of the slanted lower case alphabet, as shown in the weight Chancery 4. The capitals later conform to the slant of the lower case, as shown in the weights Chancery 1-3. Poetica font should be set according to the included suggestion in order to see the full benefit of its grace and beauty.

During the last ten years of his life, Hans Eduard Meier (dec. July 17, 2014), together with Max Schläpfer, developed an innovative concept of a new Swiss Schulschrift (handwriting script for schools) called ABC Basisschrift®. His life’s work is crowned by the fact that now, since the fall of 2014, and beginning in Lucerne, this new didactic will replace the old Schnürlischrift in Switzerland. In contrast with the Schnürlischrift, the idea is to guide a child in three steps to learning a personal handwriting. ABC Schule 1 is for the first grade, ABC 2 starts to introduce the first connections and ABC 4 Ligaturen is designed with many ligatures to serve as a good example for handwriting.
