Introducing HEXA’s second family-font, Retro Games Font. The RetroGames font is a witty reinterpretation of the fonts found in 90s 16-bit games that we enjoyed when we were young, presented as bitmap imaged fonts. It offers superior legibility and aesthetic sensibility compared to many other existing bitmap fonts. For instance, while most bitmap fonts create one stroke with 1 pixel or have various thicknesses in pixels, we have standardized it to a maximum of one stroke with 1-3 pixels, enhancing both legibility and aesthetic appeal. Since there are many similar bitmap fonts, we wanted to reinterpret it as a genre of its own. Our latest designed fonts HEXA, we noticed some shortcomings in legibility, and we aim to address those shortcomings in this bitmap font, Retro Games. Here’s a fresh take on a classic, Caslon Black Swash by Ed Benguiat. Big, bold and beautiful, it’s a natural choice for distinctive and attractive headlines. Several alternate lowercase characters are included in the font, in place of some math operators. The PC Postscript, Truetype and Opentype versions contain the complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252) plus support for Central European (Unicode 1250) languages as well.

Hakan is an modern display font with an Arabian look. This font particularly for those not native to Arabic languages. Hakan try to bring back the Baghdad and Alladin memories to your design or typography. The font suits creative titling on both web and print, perfect for scroll text. Prored is an avantgarde sans serif typeface that contains 5 weights – Light, Regular, Bold, ExtraBold and Black. It is small and compact font family with own characteristic expression, constructed to be safe choice for all kinds of typographic tasks. With specific curved endings that are adhered on baseline, Prored includes tiny note of singularity – just enough to make it’s own identity recognizable and catchy. Taller x-height gives an afterimage of a bit narrowed look, but with rational proportions and well balanced weights, 5 of them are really sufficient and capable to handle extreme typographic issues. Especially charming is Black which can be used also as display typeface in situations where elegant solutions are required in combination with stronger visibility. Beside Central Europe, Prored also contains glyphs for Turkish and Baltic languages. Highly neutral impression recommends Prored as an excellent choice for branding campaigns or new identities. Schwarz is a Black Letter typeface inspired by all that is black. Jagged edges and sharp diagonals make Schwarz a head banging font. Some stylistic alternates and ligatures are also available.

Stanzer is an interpretation of wood type combined with the idea of modern stencils. Instead of cutting every letter, we are presenting an example of how a modern stencil typeface could look like, as we have come to the conclusion that almost every letter works without cutting it. Stanzer is a Unicase typeface, available in three OpenType weights: Black, Shadow and Block. Stanzer first started as part of our diploma 2010 (it was called Stanley at that time). The basic idea behind this typeface is that it is fully stencil usable, and, unlike other stencil fonts, does not require any bridges (except for the O and Q). Almost every letter can be sprayed without inserting planks. However, Stanzer also offers the display weight Block, which is only suitable for print or online usage.

Nomadic Blackletter font, also known as Gothic or Old English font, is characterized by its bold, ornate and decorative style with thick vertical and thin horizontal strokes. Marketing Strategy JNL was inspired by some display signage used in an episode of the classic "Alfred Hitchcock Hour". Evoking the early-60s feel of kitchy advertising, this display font has a limited character set and is specifically designed for creating retro ad banners and point-of-sale attention getters as well as period piece signage. For those preferring a blank hexagon for spaces between words, one is located on the equal key. Marketing Strategy JNL is available in both regular (outline) and solid (white letters on black) versions.

Madley is a contemporary slab serif typeface. Featuring monolinear stems, elongated block serifs and teardrop terminals, the type family goes from a delicate Hairline weight to a heavy Black weight. Because of its range in weights and extensive Opentype features, it’s a perfect font for both text and display text settings. Alternative features include a wide array of swashes assigned up to 11 for select characters, combining ligatures in capital unicase settings, and stylistic alternates for some letters. Thunder Inferno is a gothic black metal typeface with sharp serifs. Rooted in the aesthetics of heavy metal and the occult, this typeface is a harbinger of darkness and intensity. Phillip Kelly first drew the Croissant typeface in 1978 for Letraset. Back in the 1970s and 80s, Letraset's rubdown lettersheets were a popular means of designing with type. Today, many of these nostalgic classics are available in digital format. Linotype is pleased to re-present Croissant. This experimental typeface is built up out of round, brush-like strokes, creating heavy, and black letters. These forms are best used for display signage and headline text. If you are designing for a local bakery or donut shop, this typeface may be the perfect fit. The dark, heavy character that Croissant lends to the page is similar to Cooper Black , one of the most renowned American type designs ever produced. If you are looking for a typeface with Croissant's feel, but need to set smaller headlines or text, check out that family's offerings."

Here’s a set of arrow shaped callouts in two varieties within one font. The black-on-white letters are on the upper case keys, and the white-on-black characters are on the lower case keys. The numerals 1 thru 10 in black-on-white are in the standard key positions, while the white-on-black numbers are on the same keys when engaging the “shift” key. The 'zero' key houses the number '10'. For a more dynamic look, the font is also available in an oblique version.

Chilada is an outrageous display family by designer Patricia Lillie for Image Club. Across four versions, the decorate treatment inside Chilada's letters becomes more intense. Chilada characters exude an energy of their own. Their design could be described as a cross between Bank Gothic and Neuland, with a spoonful of funk mixed in. Big and chunky, Chilada's forms are made up of straight lines only. There are no curved elements. The resulting design is angular and cuts a good figure on the page. Of the Chilada family's four members, the basic font is named Chilada Uno. Uno is Spanish for one!" The forms of Chilada Uno's letter are solid black-or whatever color you choose to set them in! Chilada Dos, Tres, and Quatro each offer their own decorative treatments: Chilada Dos's letters sport a zigzag inline, Chilada Tres is decorated or an ornamented leaving leaves more black from the letters than white, while Chilada Quatro's level of decoration is just crazy. Its letters are made up more more from white space than from black marks. Chilada Quatro is almost an outline font!"

Hypocrite is a wide and black display serif face with a hint of decay and black humor. Handle with care. Shelf-life unlimited. Designed by Alexander Lubovenko and released by Paratype in 2017.

Thornback is a hand-drawn font that uses quick, scribbled strokes to create it's slightly messy sans-serif characters. The detailed letters make it a good choice for headlines but it's also bold enough to add a homemade touch to smaller text blocks while keeping things legible.

The Ray Johnson font was inspired by the Father of Mail Art. It's based on the block lettering style used by Ray to add the names of his correspondents to their bunny head portraits (the film How to Draw a Bunny is a superb introduction). The font includes blank bunny heads and other Ray Johnson graphics as scalable vector images, and separate bitmap images are also provided as jpegs and gifs.

Based on gnostic studies of indecipherable Lovecraftian mausoleum inscriptions conducted in hidden colonnaded antechambers, Saintbride has an architectural and stone-carved heritage that makes it suitable for Gothic romances, metal CD covers, biker gang tattoos and wedding invitations.

Everyone loves black, strict stylish and elegant shapes. We strive to be perfect. Right? But ... don't you think we have lost something? Maybe childish spontaneity? In 1885 Heinrich Wallau, printer and typographer in Mainz, picked up the idea of creating a rounded gothic font written with a broad nib. This idea was then realized by Rudolf Koch between 1925 and 1930. RMU Wallau is a bringing back this beautiful font for present typography.

Bonnington is a Roman display face full of the spirit of the 1920s, developing further the ideas in our Bonning family. Three weights are offered, including a shadowed black form, in a choice of regular and condensed widths. It's the ideal face for signage with a period feel, as well as posters and headings. Combine Bonnington and Bonning together using Bonnington for eye-catching headings and Bonning for other text.

AEONUS is a gothic font, an attempt to combine a wide-edged and pointed pen, while giving the font a readability that many gothic fonts lack. Angular shapes made strictly in 45 degrees and straight lines give the font a touch of futurism. A gothic, futuristic font that retains readability and makes a unique impression is the goal that was followed when creating the font. Aeonus also conveys the spirit of the occult and something dark. Aeonus is good for prints on clothes, posters, packaging, tattoo, merchandising, large headlines, logos, product design, and any other large font compositions.

Yardbird, insinuating prison numerals, was lifted from a wooden block print poster press, that would have indeed besides providing dates for the local carnival would have just as easily ink-chucked them over the backs of those denim blues. Part of Market LTD, a collection of limited faces, mostly alpha-numeric and some just plain numeric, used primarily in retail and display situations and titling.
