Munchies is a reverse contrast slab-serif font family. Inspired by the volume and size of 19th century wood letterpress blocks and the Italian Caslon language. Munchies has 12 variants, from Heavy to Thin, with opentype options in a set consisting of uppercase, lowercase, small caps, ligatures, and alternate letters (A, M, N, V, W, &, Arrows, *). Munchies is divided into two subfamilies: Normal and Display. The Normal style has an appearance reminiscent of Western posters with a “measured” contrast. While the Display style takes the contrast to the extreme. Both styles are also available in Variable version. The inverted contrast makes it an interesting and striking looking typeface that stands out in any context. Perfect for headlines, bold branding, or animation like kinetic typeface.

The Flowers Family is a collection of 3 typefaces in two weights, meticulously drawn by British designer Roy Preston. The Flowers fonts share a common clean and narrow design, with oval-shaped rounds and distinctive individual letter shapes that give each font a unique character all their own. Flowers Petal is the base typeface, essentially a sanserif with rounded terminal ends. Flowers Bud adds a unique inverted triangle shaped serif, and Flowers Thorn replaces that with an elegant pointed serif. All 3 typefaces are very legible and usable for text runs, and there are bold weights of each font for headlines and display applications. Flowers' extended character set supports many Western European languages and each font has some OpenType features, including Ligatures, that make them more useful.

As most successful German private press, «Bremer Presse» has strongly influenced German book art. It was founded 1911 in Bremen to print and produce books in perfection. The role model of the press’ typeface was the english Doves Press. Willy Wiegand drew three versions of the «Bremer Presse» antiqua font, starting with the regular weight in 16 pt and adding later the regular weights in 11 and 12 pt. The revival of this beautiful font is based on the 12 pt weight. During the design process, the focus was laid on finding the elegance and strength of original prints. As it was designed to print books, the typeface is optimally used for texts. And with the revival’s new weights «medium» and «bold» and OpenType features like ligatures or old style figures, you can design sophisticatedly typographical compositions.

SHE'S DEAD, FRANK It's the year 1991, BC (Before Comicraft) when REM were still making records and Frank Miller’s memorable run on Marvel Comics’ DAREDEVIL was just over ten years old. Comicraft’s Richard Starkings found himself working in Anaheim, California for Graphitti Designs. Graphitti had produced the first hardcover edition of Miller’s Batman tale, DARK KNIGHT RETURNS and was now putting together the sequel to Miller’s DAREDEVIL — ELEKTRA LIVES AGAIN! Richard was not engaged to letter this book, the pages of Frank’s incredible original art that came through Graphitti’s studio were already lettered by Marvel Stalwart, Jim Novak. However, there were some cover elements that needed to be added, based on the logo originally rendered by Frank’s brother, Steve. Starkings set about the task of creating an alphabet that could be used to develop Steve’s idea for the trade dress -- the cover elements, the back cover copy and credits on the interior pages. This was long before Macintosh computers and font programs made this work considerably easier, so Rich sat down with a pencil and a sheet of vellum and rendered an alphabet that could be used as the basis for the text that was needed... Those sketches have languished in a drawer for nearly thirty years, but now, finally, Comicraft’s John Roshell has dusted off those old letterforms and Elektrakuted a font based on those designs, a font we HAD to call ELEKTRAKUTION! As for Elektra; she’s dead, Frank. Decade Nouveau JNL is based on examples of an Art Nouveau wood type with a bit of Latin/Western typographic flare, and yet it is also reminiscent of the style's revival during the hippie movement of the 1960s.

Ditto is a confident and striking, geometric, inline display face. Based on Talbot Type Kamerik, both Kamerik and Kamerik Text make ideal text fonts to accompany Ditto. Ditto includes all accented characters for Western and Central European languages.

Unadorned JNL is the stripped down version of 2011's Troubador JNL; an ornate wood type font. With the inner ornamentation removed, this Western-influenced type design takes on a bolder look, yet retains its Victorian decorative charm.

RMU Bison is my revival of Julius Kirns hot-metal font, which first was released by Weber in 1935. The versatile timeless brush font was extended as to cover the main Western and Central European languages plus Turkish.
