The Symcaps Vario X1 typeface is a monospaced design created to give optically symmetrical message forms. This all-caps alphabet provides two styles of capital letters plus numbers 1-0.

Known to many eastern artists as the California Poster Letter because it originated in the West, this old 1930s style has reappeared in digital form. Carl Holmes, in his wonderful book on old lettering styles, pays tribute to this uniquely American design. Faintly reminiscent of the lettering of Fred G. Cooper, California Poster Bold is at times wildly exaggerated and boisterous. Letters appear to be inflated and loopy. Oildale is a single weight, connecting script that explores the idea of using crossed strokes as the main body of the typeface. Designed as a display font, it’s bold form and unique appearance lend it a distinctive charm that can be used in branding, headlines or other titling. POSSIBLE is both sans and serif, either is possible. The typeface is a sans-serif impersonating a spur serif, or it’s a glyphic with the look and feel of a sans.
