The single-named, multi-talented designer Joluvian now lives in Madrid. But he grew up in the “Caribe” of Venezuela, where thick jungles meet endless beaches, and fecund trees bear juicy fruit – a tropical paradise where music and dance vibrate in the humid air. The Tropical pack, designed by Joluvian and digitized by Ale Paul, echoes the spirit of his birthplace. Its three faces are casually stylish – a bold, wet-looking display script, an inky, textured brush script, and hand-penned capitals with a felt-tip look. Like a fruit cocktail, each ingredient is tasty on its own, but they combine even more deliciously. Sprinkle the included catchwords, shapes, and bursts in your layout to complete the easygoing, Carribbean vibe. Each face includes alternates and support for multiple Latin languages.

FF Sizmo™ is available in two flavors. One is an honest, industrial strength, somewhat condensed, sans serif family. The other builds on the first, and is a display design with horizontally connecting baseline strokes. The five weights of basic the FF Sizmo typefaces are ideal for print and digital projects. Character spacing is generous, counters are open and apertures are wide and clear. Banners, navigational links, sub heads, and short blocks of contextual copy are natural on-screen uses for the design. This line is an important part of the font’s appearance.”

Taglio’s name is derived from intaglio, which means “incised carving” or “an impression from an engraving”. Indeed, Taglio looks like an incised engraving with a contemporary calligraphic interpretation. The down strokes start with a single horizontal line that curves into a dual vertical line and ends with the same single line at the base. The dual elongated strokes create a bold overall impression but is literally twice as sophisticated than if the two lines were solid. That was exactly the goal in creating this font. We managed to create a font that is distinctive, elegant, and crisp that is also intentionally stencilled for more flexibility. For instance, it is ideal for laser cutting signage. One of the unique features in using the capital glyphs is that they stack perfectly without losing legibility, primarily because of the slanted ends of the dual vertical lines - see the example “Miami Fashion Week” display ad. Taglio’s unusual style was carefully crafted to come to life at display sizes. Askan is a new serif face which is suitable both for a pleasant experience in reading texts as well as for striking headlines and for subtext applications with the heavier weights.  Askan shows that it was designed in 2019, generally avoiding any reference to historical models. Stencil Round Ends, is just that, a stencil typeface with rounded terminations to each line rather than the squared terminations found in your typical stencil font. This design was developed while designing a typeface for engraving. The end mill tools used to engrave a font are round, thus the lines will all end with a rounded edge. While designing the engraving font I also designed this font to make sure that the single line version will have the desired aesthetic. Unlike many stencil fonts that have a limited range of glyphs I made this to contain the majority of letters, accents, ligatures, and mathematic symbols commonly used in most latin based languages.

FG April works great with all caps as well emphasized by the double lines. It doesn't connect but feels like a script.

The basis for a lot of the characters did begin with a circle or sections of one; the equally distributed, rounded forms of this font are complemented however by the vertical strokes, and further counter-balanced by angular slab serifs on the remaining glyphs. Curved alternates with a celtic vibe are also included in the fonts and feature on the default slots in the separate Cyclic Uncial set. In summary, the whole Cyclic type family comprises a combined palette of circles and straight lines; something the cubist movement would have been proud of!

Before the Great War, there were great posters. Posters of elegance and grandeur. Posters calling people to the pleasures of sunny southern France and to the perfections of northern Italy’s dolce vita. Le Havre, based on a poster by AM Cassandre, was one of my first typefaces that took inspiration from this genre. Now, the golden memories of years past are the inspiration for insigne design’s new Gineso Titling as well. Gineso revives the retro forms of past poster design with its newly crafted sense of humanity, which is amplified by a great variety of texture options. The Metalista font was created as a sign of undying admiration for the persistence of heavy metal culture. The angled font of almost fixed width proportions combines capitals with small letters for more variety and better definition of individual letters. Stressing the horizontal strokes subdued the historical Gothic character and emphasized a more modern signature, which is far different from the majority of current attempts at a modern adaptation of Fraktur fonts. TE Nastaaliq Font It is one of the Persian calligraphy or ta'liq line that appeared in Persia in the seventh century AH (thirteenth century AD), as it was extracted from the lines of naskh, patch and thuluth. It is a beautiful font whose letters are distinguished by precision and extension. It is also characterized by its ease, clarity and lack of complexity. It does not tolerate diacritics, despite its difference with the line of the patch, as it is one of the best fonts in the world and the best without a competitor and admires many Arab calligraphers, and no cultural or literary exhibition is devoid of a painting written in Persian script. It is one of the most beautiful lines that has a special character that distinguishes it from others, as it is characterized by gracefulness in its letters, so it appears as if it descends in one direction, and its beauty is increased by the soft and rounded lines in it, because it is more flexible in drawing and more flexible, especially if it is drawn with precision, elegance and good distribution, and the calligrapher may baptize In his use of decoration to reach strength in expression by taking advantage of arches and circles, in addition to the grace of painting, the artist may link the letters of one word and the two words to reach the composition of a frame or curved and wrapped lines in which he shows his genius in imagination and creativity.

Neuarc Font Family This is the 20th font family of CozyFonts Foundry, established 10 years ago in 2012 with the release of Aladdin Bold. Neuarc is based loosely on arcs and curves, hence it’s naming. As shown in one of the font posters that serves to showcase this font, a collage of rough sketches is displayed as the poster’s background. These hand drawn pencil drawings were worked and reworked and The final drawings were scanned and built in Adobe Illustrator and transferred to glyph windows, glyph by glyph, in Fontlab 8. The 5 styles, so far, are reminisscent of The Art Deco Era of Design between the 1030s and 1950s. Neuarc also has it’s own footprint with several characters that stand out, eg. A, 8, &, B, ?, $, 5, w, x, a, c, e, etc. giving the reason for the ’Neu’ in the naming. These letterforms & Numbers work extremely well in monograms. Each styles has it’s own personality. From the ultra chic Light style to the dominant cool Bold style, this family maintains a uniform legibility at small to large sizes. Meant primarily for display uses, Neuarc works well for posters, logos, headlines, packaging, branding, signage for a myriad of applications. The Neuarc Deco style font will work well in titles and numbers of any application.
