This font set is the second in a series from P22 Type Foundry based on the lettering styles of Frank Lloyd Wright. Created in 1931, the Exhibition lettering was intended primarily to accompany Frank Lloyd Wright's exhibition drawings and models. Many of the 72 Extras were designed to form continuous linking borders. Combinations of these geometric forms can provide endless variations of decorative elements in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. Many of these images were based on Mr Wright's "Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers" illustration for an unused Liberty magazine cover of 1926. Other imagery in this set was derived from assorted geometric designs by Wright. Exhibition Regular, Light, and Bold have been remastered and now contain almost 400 characters including support for Western and Central European languages.

Botanique is a hand-drawn typeface based on Schmalfette Bernhard Antiqua by Lucien Bernhard. The original face was released in 1912 by Flinsch Type Foundry, which was later acquired by Bauer. Schmalfette means ‘bold condensed’ in German and Botanique adds a charming roughness to these attributes, evoking an organic and somewhat retro mood. Its uppercase glyphs shine with adorned stylistic alternates and cool blooming swash versions for both initial and final forms, all cleverly programmed into OpenType font features. Botanique is a ​great pick for display purposes, branding, packaging, editorial design, poster work and many more. The original face counts more than one hundred years, but yet communicates quite well, you bet. Specially if loaded with some contemporary flair and smart features such as this one. Let it bloom.

Carpenter® is a beautiful script perfectly suited for invitations and announcements. Created by James West, the design was a facsimile of the penmanship of Mr. Carpenter of R. Hoe & Co. and released by the Cleveland Type Foundry as one weight in 1882. It is now also available in SemiBold and Bold. The style of this script is very reminiscent of formal handwriting popular in the late 19 and early 20th centuries. It is graceful with formal structure. Its x-height is very small, with unusually long ascenders and descenders. Aristotelica Pro is the 2020 redesign of the rounded geometric sans designed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Andrea Tartarelli developing the original philosophy of one of the classic and best-selling Zetafonts typefaces, Arista by Francesco Canovaro. Originally conceived as an exercise in restraint and simplicity, Aristotelica is typographic eulogy to the simple beauty of circular shapes, aptly named after the greek philosopher who pioneered formal logic. It shows its strengths mostly in display uses and logo design, with a palette of moods ranging from the stark elegance of the uppercase hairline weights to the playful softness of the lowercase bold weights. True to its universalist calling, it has however been developed in a variant text version that applies slight corrections to design and metrics to allow for better legibility in long body copy. In Aristotelica Pro both the display and the text subfamilies have been complemented with a condensed version, though especially for mobile screens and other situations where space-saving is a concern. Bitstream Cooper was designed at Bitstream in 1986 by means of adding light, medium, and bold styles, with the corresponding italics, to the existing black ones. Based on Cooper Black, 1919, by Oswald Bruce Cooper, which was firstly released as a hand composition font in 1922 by Barnhart Brothers & Spindler of Chicago and later spread by ATF. Cooper Black is an extra bold face based on Cooper Old Style. Bitstream Cooper is an old style face with rounded serifs and tilted back ovals. For use both in text (normal weights) and in advertising and display typography (heavy weights). Cyrillic version was developed for ParaType in 2000 by Manvel Shmavonyan and based on TM Oswald face of TypeMarket, 1996, by Victoria Grigorenko.

A neat face with pronounced spur serifs which several foundries have already digitized. We like ours better though, because we have drawn a lowercase which was lacking in the original. Barnhart Bros. & Spindler of Chicago introduced this type in 1888.

Crestwood is an updated version of an elegant semi-formal script typeface originally released by the Ludlow Type Foundry in 1937. Crestwood is best used at larger sizes, and is wonderful for invitations and greeting cards. Character Set: Latin-1

This circa 1910 European face was introduced into the United States by a German type foundry traveling salesman during the great depression of the 1930s. We have used it quite successfuly in sizes as small as 10 and 12 point.

Based on one of the earliest Tuscans, from Thorowgood's foundry. The original was very poorly rendered in 1822, but keep in mind that decorative types were still quite new in the early 1800s. We redrew it, but kept it recognizable.

Many similar fonts existed in Europe around 1900 and a bit before. This one was made at the Wollmer Foundry in Germany and, except for adding the requisite modern monetary symbols and other such niceties, we preserved it quite faithfully.

Our notes say this was originated at the Barnhart Bros. & Spindler foundry in Chicago, and named Cable. Perhaps so, but we didn't find it in any of our BB&S catalogs. We made a few changes to improve the color.

Geoffrey Lee designed Impact font for the Stephenson Blake foundry in 1965. The sans serif display typeface is very heavy and condensed in the grotesque style, similar to Helvetica Inserat. Use Impact font in display situations requiring a strong statement.

A pleasant looking slab serif font family which was originally released by the Wagner foundry as hot-metal fonts. These fonts avoid the appearance of being constructed, and this is underlined by the beautiful swash caps in the Italic style.

LTC Keystone Ornaments is a set of over 100 glyphs based on "running border" ornaments from Keystone Type Foundry of Philadelphia, circa 1903. These geometric dingbats can be used individually for decorative emphasis, or combined in repetitive lines or complex patterns.

Hardwood is a reworked foundry typeface from the 1930's, providing an interpretation of the Art Deco graphic style. It harkens back to the golden era of poster design and Hollywood movie marquees, while retaining superb legibility at virtually any size.

Central Type Foundry of St. Louis issued this quirky little gem under the name of Quaint Roman around the turn of the twentieth century. This version is a little less gnarly than the original, but retains all of its eccentric charm.

Issued from the Haddon Foundry in England. Most of their original faces had names beginning with H, like their own name. Some of their types were designed by Phil May, but we cannot guarantee that this is one of them.

The Troyer AR ornaments are based on the first series of ornaments designed for American Type Founders by Johannes Troyer (1902-69). They were cast in 36 and 48 point in 1953 by ATF who said that they ‘mark a distinct and refreshing departure from the motif of earlier ornaments, and add a crisp touch to your finer printing’. Kenneth Day, in The Typography of Press Advertisement (1956), found them 'clean-cut and bright and clearly showing their calligraphic origins . . . useful for single decorative touches'.

Homelessfonts is an initiative by the Arrels foundation to support, raise awareness and bring some dignity to the life of homeless people in Barcelona Spain. Each of the fonts was carefully digitized from the handwriting of different homeless people who agreed to participate in this initiative. MyFonts is pleased to donate all revenue from the sales of Homelessfonts to the Arrels foundation in support of their mission to provide the homeless people in Barcelona with a path to independence with accommodations, food, social and health care. Loraine was born in London. She was an ordinary, hardworking family person, with nothing to worry about beyond paying the rent at the end of the month or keeping the fridge full. Until in 2009 she came to Barcelona on holiday. Soon after she arrived her passport was stolen from her and she had a series of problems with the British embassy. Somebody had made illegal use of her passport. So Loraine found herself in a strange place, unable to get home. She didn’t know anyone there and her circumstances meant she couldn’t ask for help from England, either. She had to sell all her possessions and, in time, learn to speak Spanish. “Living in the street is a wonderful adventure,” she says. In the street she discovered a new city, a new country and a new culture. “There are lots of people who prefer to sleep under the stars.” She also made lots of friends who helped her in a completely unfamiliar world.
