Here be a serious pirate font, based loosely on several of Victor Hammer’s uncial typefaces, designed between 1925 and 1953, and liberally weathered and corroded for that authentic barnacle-encrusted look. The bullet character is suitable for marking where the treasure is buried, and the section mark is a Jolly Roger. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Silk Serif is a high-contrast typeface with thin, pointy, heavily bracketed serifs, and ball terminals in the appropriate places, as well as bracketed junctions in various letterforms. The model for Bensonhurst JNL was a 1930s-era hand-lettered WPA (Works Project Administration) poster for the play "Hell Bent For Heaven". Although the basic style is a classic Art Deco "thick and thin" format, the design (in certain characters) starts to take on the feel of a 1970s revival style. With this in mind, Bensonhurst JNL is a bit of a hybrid between the 1930s and the 1970s.

Mr Brown is a typeface based on hand drawn letters to our new book for children. It has up to four alternate glyphs for each character. You can switch them manually or use OpenType Contextual Alternates feature. It will automatically set alternate glyphs de-pending on frequency of appearance of the same character. The script doesn’t throw random glyphs. For example in the word “HIPPOPOTAMUS” you will automatically get three different “P” glyphs and two “O” glyphs. It really works great but of course you can always fine tune it by hand.

Steampipe is a font constructed of bits and pieces, reminiscent of the ironwork construction of the Crystal Palace or the inner workings of The Time Machine. Although it works fine as is, it comes alive with some Photoshop Layer Styles. Steampipe has the most extensive kerning of any font I've designed, just so (most) letters fit together as if they were constructed as a unit; use them in a program that supports special kerning.

Nipon has an affiliation with the Far East. The first character I designed for this alphabet was the capital P. The stepped thin lines are linking to the Japanese characters and the circle shape is a classic Japanese element which means literally: the origin of the Sun, Nippon. So this is where the name comes from, I skipped one P in the name, so my Nipon gets his own identity. Next to this oriental look it also carries a light resemblance with a juwel box. Precious and elegant shapes for the gentle touch in writing.

Radar is a revival of the sans serif typeface “Grotesca Radio”, from the Spanish foundry Richard Gans, which existed from 1888 to 1975. His authorship is attributed to the German type designer and master punchcutter Carl Winkow. Although the new version of this font has always tried to keep accurate similarities with the original typeface, Radar is not intended as a strict revival, but as a contemporary interpretation. In this new version the user can find some alternate characters that give the typeface a more art-déco or neutral flair.

Jochen Schuss designed Linotype Paint It in 1997 with exclusively capital letters and in two weights. The best way to describe the weight Paint It might be to compare it with a labyrinth in which the figures only become clear to the reader dedicated to finding them.
