Newspeak is a display typeface based upon Soviet architectural forms from the Stalinist period (spanning the 1930s—'50s). Stalinist architecture is now considered unsightly and without aesthetic merit, yet it has a strange beauty, hinting at an unrealised utopia (while its function was to buttress a brutal dictatorship). I digitized and revitalize Hostetler Fette Ultfraktur Ornamental from the classical type specimen book from Rudolf Hostetler. He was a Swiss type designer, author of “The Printer’s Terms” designed by Jan Tschichold, of “Technical Terms of the Printing Industry” (5th edition was printed in 1995), and of "Type: eine Auswahl guter Drucktypen; 80 Alphabete klassischer und moderner Schriften" (Teufen, Ausser-Rhoden: Niggli, 1958). He also wrote "Type: A Selection of Types" (1949, fgm books, R. Hostettler, E. Kopley, H. Strehler Publ., St. Gallen and London) in which he highlights type made by European houses such as Haas, Enschedé, Deberny and Nebiolo. Jost Hochuli wrote his biography.

Deco Bevel is a filter font based on Deco, an original Open Window classic. It came about while I was experimenting with light and shadows using 3D rendering software and Photoshop. Its ideal use is as a display font.

Zaragoza is the work of British designer Phill Grimshaw, a bold and beautifully rendered script which incorporated an internal zigzag decoration. Generous capitals harmonize with a lowercase that should be set close to reproduce the look of true handwriting.

Write is a handwriting font, more like neat print than a flowing cursive script, which renders it highly readable and almost like a formal font, but still retaining the informality of handwriting. Also there are some "special effects" varieties.

Based on Schumann's original Typoart font 'Stentor', Tyton Pro has been carefully redrawn and redesigned. Unlike the simplified forms of former photo-setting versions, Tyton Pro preserves the tender upstrokes and downstrokes which underline the typical brush-written letters.

Hair is another beautiful URW++ FontForum contribution by Wojtek Ruhnau. It is a technically ambitious multi-line script-like type design that should be used carefully and in large sizes only. However, set properly, Hair renders beautifully and charmingly.

Many fabulous creatures were created for use on heraldic crests. The Heraldic Creatures font is an assortment of simplified renderings of some of these creatures. There is a total of 47 creatures all located under the normal character keys.

Amberday is a modern display serif typeface to be used more than just as a header font. When I was creating this typeface my first though was to create a light font but strong enough to stand as a header font. Amberday is a perfect typeface to use for logo design, webdesign, header design, typedesign, posters and many more. Amberday family includes eight weight starting with Thin and ending with a Heavy style. Each style includes kerning, ligatures and alternates.

Pneuma is the work of British designer Timothy Donaldson and is pronounced new-ma". It is a slick, dry-brush typeface excellent for when a fresh, spontaneous hand-rendered look is desired. Pneuma is particularly eye-catching in large display sizes."

Hand lettering found in the September, 1936 issue of the French film publication “La Cinématographie Française” is rendered in a lovely Art Nouveau serif type style. This is now available digitally as French Film JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

Intrigued by typefaces of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, the designer was surprised to find no digital renderings of the popular Old Roman typeface. This font is the designer's interpretation of this c. 1895 typeface designed by T.W. Smith.
