Excited alphabets was born in Frankfurt (Germany) when two ‘almost-neighbours’ met at a coffee shop. Simplo: the ‘Italian Futura’. Simplo is a geometric sans serif typeface, built in sixteen styles. It is a tribute to the 1930s typeface Semplicità, designed by Nebiolo’s Alessandro Butti. Although many details of Simplo differ from Semplicità, it preserves the spirit of the original. Simplo is ideal for use in display sizes. It is also quite legible in text, and is well suited for graphic design and corporate identity design. Simplo has sixteen styles, extensive language support, eight different kinds of figures, sophisticated OpenType features — so it’s ready for advanced typographic projects. The most notable characteristics of this typeface are the ‘t’ and the ‘f’. The ‘t’ is the culmination of simplicity: a vertical line with just a simple right-side crossbar. The ‘f’ also has just a right-side crossbar, and is really tall: it reaches both the highest and lowest vertical position of the typeface. The Arabetic Sans Serif type family follows the guidelines of the Mutamathil type style but also illustrates the effects of adding and removing Latin-like serifs on Arabetic scripts legibility. It has only one glyph for every basic Arabic Unicode character or letter as defined in Unicode Standards version 5.1. Arabetic Sans Serif employs variable x-height values. It includes all required Lam-Alif ligatures and uses ligature substitutions and selected marks positioning but it does not use any other glyph substitutions or forming. Text strings composed using types of this family are non-cursive with stand-alone isolated glyphs. Tatweel (or Kashida) glyph is a zero width space. Keying it before any glyph will display that glyph’s isolated form. Keying it before Alif Lam Lam Ha will display the Allah ligature. Guaruja Grotesk is the first Tipogra Fio family for headlines & body copy. The grotesque form factor is much inspired in the Modernism movement from the mid of 20th Century but the Italic weight is a great cursive contrast aside the Roman ones so you can make very brutalist layouts or craft humanist projects, without losing the communication between all the family. Do not be afraid to type words with uppercase I and lowercase L because this last one has its own personality so do others glyphs like Italic lowercase G, Y and K and the straight corners in the Roman uppercase A, K, V, W, X, Y and Z. The same curves and corners are transferred to the numbers, symbols and so on. If your text is in a latin alphabet even though has lots of diacritcs, Guaruja may get it done! If you’re making a mathematical equation, it also can make it. If there’s a signaling project with lots of destinations, trust the arrows to help with together with the whole family.

The Greek font started from an experiment with designing fonts based on a geometric grid. I joined the points on the grid with straight lines to form the various characters and found that this resulted in a font that closely resembled Greek writing (derived from inscriptions carved in stone) of ancient times. I continued to develop this theme but I now accentuated the look and feel of Greek writing. The three styles shown are the results of this development. I did not kern or letterspace the individual letters since this would have been out of character with the orignal Greek writing. This means that the font is mono-spaced. At a later stage I may produce more refined and "modern" versions of these fonts. Surprisingly, the Greek SCF styles are very readable. The font is fully professional in terms of its character set. It contains over 235 characters - (upper and lower case characters, punctuation, numerals, symbols and accented characters are present). In fact, it has all the accented characters used in the major European languages.

The font Steamfunk is based on Steampunk. A form of science fiction that couples Victorian era style with futuristic devices operated by early industrial age technology. Each Steamfunk letter is constructed in two symbolic parts. A thick stroke, for the machine’s outer shell, and a second, wire-like, stroke for that machine's delicate inner workings. Pegasus scrapes the DNA of a great twentieth century painter who scattered text across his work like no other… not any kind of facsimile, but tough, playful, adaptable display type forged from the bones of a unique writing hand. Three weights - Skinny, Domestic and Peso - each offer five alternates for each letter, three for each numeral and multiple versions of many punctuation and other symbols. Makiritare is a display font for headlines that originates from a research work on pure geometry of great simplicity from a Venezuelan ethnicity artisanal form from men called Makiritare or Yecuana. These rivers sailors and architects of the jungle live in the village of Santa Maria de Erebato on the border with Brazil. Despite having a prodigious symbolism in their art, they didn't have until recently a font that is tailored to your expression. It all started with a trip to the Amazon in 1976 with the notion of creating my thesis as a graphic design student. In 1992 I created the first letterform that was evolving to a more elaborate version being presented and selected at the International Typography Biennial Letras Latinas in 2006. Today JMTF presents Makiritare with a more complete and mature family of three weights, alternative characters, small caps, ordinals and ligatures. Makiritare fits any application that have an innovative and modernist purposes. Recommended for titles or short phrases, with striking large-scale use.

Aeroport is a new typeface in the spirit of both German geometric sans serifs and Swiss neogrotesques. Its deliberately wide proportions and relatively short capitals account for the excellent way the type carries the line. Its short ascenders and descenders allow for very tight leading. When used in large point sizes, Aeroport reveals its industrial ancestry and its unconventional design: the somewhat unbalanced top of the lowercase a, the capital B that has deliberately not been compensated optically, the overly wide capital M. In smaller sizes the type creates a starkly different effect: its measured widths and low contrast make a text setting appear neutral and homogenous. This versatility is what makes Aeroport a multipurpose sans serif suitable for a wide variety of typographic applications. The family includes four weights with their italics and a monospased style. Character set includes an alternate lowercase a, two sets of figures and currency symbols, uppercase punctuation, and a set of arrows.
