Not inspired by any one thing, Candy Randy came about as an attempt to capture the feel of hours spent aimlessly perusing childrens' advertising and packaging from the early 1960s. It always reminds me a bit of Christmas and was named after an imaginary character in tales told to my youngest sister.

Hello! Let me introduce Cohen – a handwritten font named in memory of the great poet and singer Leonard Cohen. On the day he passed away I did my routine calligraphy practice and wrote a part of his song 'Night Comes On'. You may see this work in presentation pictures, and after time I designed a font based on this calligraphy. Cohen signature font is perfect for logos, branding, web, blog headlines, invitations, magazine and book design, product packaging – or for any text on postcards and on your favorite photos. Cohen includes: a standard set of characters with wide multilingual support: Western-, Central- and Eastern-European, Baltic, Turkish, Latin-type Africans, and Asian (94 languages in total) two additional character sets: lowercase letters with alternates shapes and lowercase letters with a little end-swash - for the position at the end of a word 39 ligatures for double letters and frequent combinations Cohen has a large number of embedded context-dependent auto-replacement features that give the text a natural, handwritten look and correct inharmonious combinations of letters. These features work well in many apps (even simple ones like Notepad/TextEdit), and if you need to customize their application – you could use programs that support OpenType features (for example, Adobe apps or CorelDraw). All these additional glyphs are PUA-encoded, so if your software does not support OpenType — you could access them through Character Map (Windows) or Font Book (Mac). In the 70's I went out with a girl whose father was a card-carrying member of 3 of the biggest unions in the printing arts. He gave me 2 things, a pre-war Linotype specimen book and an ancient 'how to' lettering book that contained 30 or 40 script specimens from lettering artists of the time. Tiamaria is the developed glyphs of one of these specimens. Tiamaria is the name of one of the islands in the Galapagos chain.

Homework Dashed font was specially conceived/designed for teaching cursive writing. This resource allows tutors and parents to create worksheets for individual or class teaching. Associated with the Homework font, students can learn and exercise their handwriting abilities. All capital letters, excluding I, F, T and P, link to any following small letter: the sequence of the previous letter stroke always follows the angle of the initial stroke of the subsequent letter.
