Clarks is a modular typeface built from a work by Lygia Clark, one of the giants of Brazilian postwar art. Packed in a font equipped with clever OpenType programming, there are at least 7 different designs for each letter, thus allowing, or rather, proposing, boldly unconventional compositions. The font is programmed to cycle all these different lettershapes, avoiding repetition. The user can also manually pick up preferred forms in a glyph palette. There are choices to both keep and to defy readability and it's almost hypnotic to play with these. Lygia Clark used to invite viewers to touch her works and so we did with her 'Planes in Modulated Surface no. 4', from 1957: we fragment it and turned and inverted and recombined it. Imagine America in the 1930s. A gangster flick with Al Capone, a crime novel featuring Philip Marlowe. Our hero in a fedora sits in a classy bar, orders a double bourbon, lights a cigar and eyes the evening paper. He turns the pages, reading about a bank heist over on Third Avenue, a scandal involving a baseball player, a small ad for a general practitioner and a large spread about a famous law firm. What do the bottle of booze and the majestic facade of the bank have in common? The elegant baseball uniform and trustworthy attorneys? - Copperplate Gothic - When Frederick William Goudy created his legendary typeface in 1901, it went on to literally become the symbol of early 20th century America. Tiny serifs, characteristically broad letterforms, and particularly bold titles decorated calling cards at 6-point size, enormous bronze-cast logos, newspaper headlines, restaurant menus and more. This was the golden age of Copperplate, lasting up until the arrival of die neue Typografie and monospaced grotesques in the 1960s. Then the typeface almost completely disappeared. It made a partial comeback with the advent of the personal computer; digitizations of varying quality appeared, and one version even became a standard font in Adobe programs. This may have played a role in Copperplate later being used in DIY projects and amateur designs, which harmed its reputation. Copperplate New has been created to revive the faded glory of the original design. Formally, the new typeface expands the existing weight and proportional extremes. The slight serifs are reduced even further, making the typeface sans-like at smaller point sizes and improving readability. In contrast, at large point sizes it retains all of its original character. Decorative inline & shadow styles have been added and both have been created in all five proportions, making it easy to adapt the typesetting to the format you need. Despite these changes and innovations, Copperplate New remains true to Goudy’s original design and represents a snazzy way to evoke a golden era in American culture. Hassan is a traditional-style Arabic text face designed by Hassan Sobhi Mourad, an experienced calligrapher and teacher of the art and first produced by the Linotype Design Studio (U.K.) as a PostScript font in 1993. An individual Naskh style, Hassan cleverly combines elegant proportions, echoing an inscriptional Thuluth in its tall vertical stems and deeply rounded final jim and ain. The effect of verticality is enhanced by the tense, reined-in kerning strokes of ra and waw, the well-poised lam-alif, and the compactly drawn ligatures. The broad-band strokes of Hassan Bold smooth some of the angularity and relax the tension apparent in the Light. The traditional-style ligatures are rendered with an easy flow. Because of the economical character count, Hassan Light and Bold text may be headed by the compact titling styles (Hisham, Mariam) as well as designs like Ahmed or Kufi which answer to the inscriptional qualities of Hassan. In addition to other uses, Hassan would be particularly suited to document text-setting. Hassan’s two OpenType weights include Latin glyphs from Janson Text Roman, and Janson Text Bold, respectively, inside the font files, allowing a single font to set text in both most Western European and Arabic languages. The OpenType glyph ranges incorporate Basic Latin and the Arabic character set, which supports Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. The fonts include tabular and proportional Arabic, Persian, and Urdu numerals, as well as a set of tabular European (Latin) numerals.

Bodoni Classic Swing is another of my decorative additions to Bodoni’s family of typefaces. Bodoni did not design decorative versions. His quest was for purity in book design. He was purely as a printer who had to cut his own fonts because there simply weren't any foundries in those days. I think if Giambattista were alive today he would design many decorative typefaces. Céline was inspired by a recent trip to a vineyard in the South of France. A vintage stencil numeral set was etched onto the wine fermentation tanks. Céline is a one weight stencil display typeface with plans to expand the family with multiple weights and non stencil versions. Céline includes some language support, standard and discretionary ligatures. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Extra Crunchy is my handwriting when I am eating cookies while drawing! No, it's true! I did eat a whole box of cookies while drawing this font! :) The letters are a bit jumpy, and have no steady x-height, however, your text may look a bit off, but it is clear and legible. Fits perfect for a children's book, a postcard/poster design or something else that needs that extra crunch :)

Bodoni Classic Swashes is my personal addition to Bodoni’s family of typefaces. Bodoni did not design a decorative version. His quest was for purity in book design. Even though in his days it was not called design; he thought of himself purely as a printer. Circus Wagon is a revival of the old circus style font named Big Top in the Dan Solo catalog. This version has been freshened up with a new matching lowercase. Our original release of this font was named Buckhorn, this 2020 updated release changes the name and adds additional accented glyphs plus Opentype case sensitive forms. You will need an Opentype aware application to access Opentype features in this font.

Organic Respect is my monospaced and organic slab serif font. Although the font is monospaced - which may not lead your mind to something organic - I did my best to make the letters appear vibrant and lively in an organic way. This typeface is based on Albrecht Dürer’s work “Die Underweysung der Messung” (Institutiones Geometricae, Instruction in Measurement). Please note that this font needs special treatment when typesetting text. If you need black text, you need to type just capital letters separated by spaces. If you need coloured text, type both lower case and upper case (with the lower case character first), and then assign a colour to the lowercase letters only.

The melody and original Spanish lyrics were written by Maria Grever, one of Mexico's first successful female composers, with English lyrics supplied by Raymond Leveen. Drunken Hour is not your everyday-ransom-note font! It has autoligatures for both double numbers and letters, and a good handful of the most common letter combinations...even the accented characters has got their own unique look! Astromonkey - here he is, all new, all excited to be alive! Astromonkey comes from outer space, where he has rubbed shoulders with the Star Trekkers, the aliens and Major Tom, who is still floating in his tin can. The font is a squarish all caps, with a different set of glyphs for upper and lower case (so they mingle quite well) and Astromonkey himself - disguised as the paragraph glyph. Enjoy.

Sign Production JNL somewhat resembles Sign Kit JNL but there are some noticeable differences. The letters and numbers in Sign Production JNL are bolder, wider and have some slightly different character shapes. The common theme is that both fonts were designed from die-cut letters and numbers found in the Webway Sign Cabinet, manufactured by the Holes-Webway Company of St. Cloud, Minnesota until its demise in the 1980s.

Honeyvoid is my handwritten font, and it is perfect for invitations, greetingcards, prints, logos and decorative sayings or headlines. The letters vary beautifully in both height and weight. Soul Leo ist a special Version of my font „Soul“ (soul ultra black). For a long Time i want to make a Font like this. Before FL6 that was impossible. I know it is a big File Size for a Font with all the Graphics but i need a Font like this for a LadyProjekt. And so i did it myself. I hope you like it as i do!

I did chose a different way: My Font should just look pretty and friendly, being the good buddy for all days. This is how the name is explained.

Tetria was designed by Martin Jagodzinski, who says that the font came from the need for a compact, constructivist typeface. Tetria combines the expression of simplicity of the 'norm' typefaces like DIN Mittelschrift with elements of Old Face typefaces which optimize legibility. It therefore contains old style figures and a larger stroke contrast, which makes the font legible even in smaller point sizes." Sources of inspiration for Tetria were the designs of Joost Schmidt and Herbert Bayer as well as the norm typefaces. The name comes from the Greek word for 'four', tetra. "Four is the number of many simple and useful objects, four wheels on a car, four corners of a book. Also, the basic forms of Tetria come from the simple geometric form of the square." The space-saving Tetria is well-suited to a variety of uses, from corporate typeface to text to display on posters, flyers or onscreen."
