  6. Dearest John by Outside the Line, $19.00
Dearest John is the first font in the Love Letters series from Outside the Line. It is a bouncy hand lettered font. If you type caps and lower case you get one look. If you type all caps you get another look. Kind of 2 fonts for the price of one. I prefer to type caps and lower case and then go back in and tweak the headline a little to get the look I want. Dearest John was seen in the 2011 Typodarium Page-A-Day Calendar on 12-9-2011.
  7. P22 Dearest by IHOF, $24.95
Dearest is a distinct flowing script based on handwritten characters found in a 19th Century German book chronicling a history of the Middle Ages. Originally released in 2001 as a set containing two styles, Script and Swash, Dearest is now expanded in 2014 as a pro font with several hundred new characters including support for Central European, Cyrillic and Greek languages. Other Opentype features include ligatures, fractions and figures, Roman numerals, alternate letterforms and more swashes to expand the possibilities of this designer-friendly font. In addition to the Dearest Pro font, a new companion font has been added- P22 Dearest Alternates. The characters contained in this font are part of the pro font, but are also designed to be used with Dearest Script and Dearest Swash and is intended for those who have applications that do not support Opentype features.
  8. Realest by Font Row, $24.99
A great addition to every graphic designer's toolkit. Realest™ is a modern slab serif display font designed with mathematical precision. The entire typeface is crafted with consistent angles & measurements down to the smallest detail. It is built on mathematics. For this reason, it is a highly versatile display font, ideal for branding, logos, websites, ads, graphics, clothing & printable materials. What makes Realest™ stand out is its classy yet modern style. It could be classified as 'futuristic' (due to its square-shaped structure), yet the slab serif details add a touch of class that most futuristic fonts lack. This gives it a unique character, making it ready to perform well in a wide variety of creative projects. Features: • A unique fusion of Modern & Slab Serif styles. • Designed with mathematical precision. • The characters share the exact same dimensions (where possible). • Monospaced (with even spacing between characters). • Comes with a generous number of alternate glyphs & accented characters. • Available in both Regular & Extended (wide) styles. • Highly versatile Realest™ Extended is a completely free font that can be used in commercial projects.

  14. Hearst Roman by Solotype, $19.95
A product of the Inland Type Foundry, some say stolen from a hand lettering job done by Goudy. (Goudy was one of those who said it!)
  15. Hearst Italic by Solotype, $19.95
Carl Schraubstadter of the Inland Type Foundry probably had more to do with the design of this italic than he did with the roman. Great for Craftsman Era projects.
