Concentrating in where he put his feet, he noticed he made a character! The FootPrint-Regular was born! A quill pen-like joined script typeface which echoes the cartoon lettering of 17th Century court papers during the period of the English Civil war. A nifty feature of this font is that if you enter a vertical bar '|' character, it will turn off the exit stroke of a joining character.

Forte was designed by the Austrian commercial artist by Carl Reissberger who was trained as a compositor and later taught typography and drawing in Vienna. In the 1934 edition of the American Type Foundry’s “Book of American Type” is a selection of letterpress fonts which emulate typewriter faces. One design named “Bulletin Typewriter” served at the model for Cub Reporter JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions. The font has been monospaced in order to add a more traditional typewriter look to any project.
